The provisions set out in DIN VDE 0701-0702 should be observed after repairs.

Remove battery, hook, wrist strap, depth stop sleeve and screwdriver bit
Remove screw on pushbutton and pushbutton
Loosen screws on gearbox housing and remove gearbox housing

Place ball for fixing screwdriver bit into hole
Slide sleeve and spring onto shaft (do not lose ball)

Attach bearing support, ball bearing and grease wiper ring to motor shaft
Gently press on ball bearing and grease wiper ring using special tool and one sleeve (applying
too much pressure causes the motor shaft to move)
Special tool is intended to be shaft's support, so no pressure is applied to the motor shaft
