C. SECURING COOKTOP TO COUNTER
1. Apply loamtape(loam tapeis used on glass top models only):
a. Removethe glasstop unit fromthe carton and placeit upside downover twosoft pads making sure
control knobs do not interferewithany surface.
b. Peeloff the hackingpaper fromthe foamgasketprovidedwith theunitandstick the adhesive
backed tape to theglass along its edge.
2. Positioncooktop in cutout.
3. From inside cabinet, position tie-downbracket underneathcutout.
4. Attach with screws provided to sma|[ hole inbottom ofburner box bottom. NOTE:Smal! hole may
sometimes be partially covered with enamel. The mountingscrews provided should be adequate for most
countertop thickness. If unusually thick countertop is encountered a longer mounting screw mustbe used.
