The JCR-350 is powered by n extern l AC-DC d ptor with n output of DC 5V
600mA .
The unit is lso equipped with b ttery b ck-up system for the clock th t uses 1 x
CR2032 lithium b ttery (Not included).
POWER CONNECTION
1. Connect the cord of the power d ptor to the DC IN JACK (#19) of the JCR-350.
2. Plug the power d ptor into household w ll socket. The unit is powered up nd in
st ndby mode when you see the displ y turn on.
Battery Back-up system
•
The unit is equipped with b ttery b ck-up system th t requires 3V CR2032
lithium b ttery (not included).
•
Use coin to rot te/open the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17) door. Remove the
door once it’s open.
•
Insert the b ttery into the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17) nd m ke sure the
positive nd neg tive (+ or -) sides of the b ttery re in cont ct with the
corresponding termin ls loc ted in the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17).
•
Repl ce the BATTERY COMPARTMENT (#17) door nd use coin to rot te/close
it b ck in pl ce.
•
If power out ge occurs, the displ y will be off, but the b ck-up b ttery will
preserve the clock nd l rm settings until the power is restored.
•
We recommend le ving the power d ptor connected when repl cing the b ttery.
All clock nd l rm settings will be lost if you repl ce the b ttery with the power
d ptor unplugged.

sw llowed, it c n c use severe intern l burns in just 2 hours nd c n le d to de th.

close securely, stop using the product nd keep it w y from children.
If you think b tteries might h ve been sw llowed or pl ced inside ny p rt of the body,

SETTING THE TIME
NOTE:
When the unit is plugged in for the first time, the displ y will be fl shing
12:00AM nd will continue fl shing until the time is set.
Setting the Time
1. In st ndby mode, Press nd hold the TIME BUTTON (#7) until the unit goes into
TIME SET mode. The hour digits will begin fl shing.
2. Repe tedly t p the VOLUME + BUTTON (#8) or VOLUME - BUTTON (#11) to set
the hour. Press nd hold the volume buttons to speed up dv ncing up or down
through the hour digits.
Note:
The PM indic tor in the top left corner of the LCD DISPLAY (#16) will light
when the hour is set to PM nd will be off when the hour is set to AM.
3. T p the TIME BUTTON (#7) to confirm the hour setting, nd the minute digits will
begin fl shing.
Repe tedly t p the VOLUME + BUTTON (#8) or VOLUME - BUTTON (#11) to set
the minutes. Press nd hold the volume buttons to speed up dv ncing up or down
through the minute digits.
4. T p the TIME BUTTON (#7) to confirm the minutes nd complete setting the time.
The displ y will stop fl shing.
Note:
The unit will utom tic lly s ve the current settings nd exit the TIME SET mode if no
buttons re pressed within 5 seconds during the set-up process.
L RM OPER TION
The JCR-350 fe tures du l l rm clock.
Turning the alarms On and Off
T p the ALARM 1 BUTTON (#9) to turn ON the Al rm 1, the Al rm 1 icon will
ppe r on the displ y nd the l rm time will fl sh on the displ y for 5 seconds. T p
the ALARM 1 BUTTON (#9) g in to turn Al rm 1 OFF. The Al rm 1 icon will turn
off.
Repe t the steps bove for Al rm 2 using the ALARM 2 BUTTON (#10).
Setting the alarm time:
1. Press nd hold the ALARM 1 BUTTON (#9), until the unit goes into ALARM SET
mode. The hour digits will begin fl shing nd the Al rm 1 icon will ppe r on the
displ y.
2. Repe tedly t p the VOLUME + BUTTON (#8) or VOLUME - BUTTON (#11) to set
the hour. Press nd hold the volume buttons to speed up dv ncing up or down
through the hour digits.

Note:

through the minute digits.
6. T p the ALARM 1 BUTTON (#9) to confirm the minutes nd complete setting the
Al rm 1 time. The displ y will stop fl shing nd the l rm sound source will fl sh
on the displ y.

7. Repe tedly t p the VOLUME + BUTTON (#8) or VOLUME - BUTTON (#11) to
select l rm sound source (AL, SPA or R dio).

– fl shing on the displ y for “W ke to Sounds”, Def ult sound is
Chirping Birds , repe tedly t p the SOUNDS BUTTON (#4) to select other
Sound to w ke to. The selected sound icon will fl sh t the top of the displ y.
Radio
– R dio st tion frequency fl shing on the displ y for “W ke to R dio”
(l st st tion pl yed).
8. T p the ALARM 1 BUTTON (#9) to confirm the “w ke to” option. The Volume level
will begin fl shing.
9. Repe tedly t p the VOLUME + BUTTON (#8) or VOLUME - BUTTON (#11) to
select the volume level.
10. T p the ALARM 1 BUTTON (#9) to confirm “w ke to” volume level nd complete
the l rm 1 setting.
11. Repe t the steps bove for Al rm 2 using the ALARM 2 BUTTON (#10).
Once ll the l rm setting steps re completed, the l rm time will be set nd the
corresponding l rm indic tor will light.
Note:
The unit will utom tic lly s ve the settings nd exit the time set mode if you do not
t p ny button fter 5 seconds.
Turning OFF the larm
•
Once the Al rm time is re ched, nd the l rm sounds, the corresponding l rm
indic tor will fl sh.
•
Press ny button but the SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) to turn OFF the l rm.
•
The l rm will turn on g in the next d y t the set Al rm time.
Notes:
•
For setting one-d y l rm, just set the desired l rm time one d y before.
•
The l rm will sound t the time set the d y prior. After h ving switched off the
l rm sound, t p the corresponding l rm button to dis ble the l rm (the l rm
indic tor will turn OFF).
•
To set nother one-d y l rm, just repe t the bove steps.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
Once the Al rm time is re ched, nd the l rm sounds, t p the SNOOZE/DIMMER
BUTTON (#12) on the top p nel to tempor rily turn off the l rm nd ctiv te the
snooze function. The l rm will stop nd turn on g in 9 minutes l ter.
NOTES:
•
The corresponding l rm indic tor nd the snooze indic tor will fl sh on the
displ y when the snooze function is ctiv ted.
•
To c ncel the snooze function nd the l rm, press ny button but the
SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) nd the snooze indic tor will turn OFF.

R DIO OPER TION
Listening to the Radio
1. T p the RADIO BUTTON (#3) to turn on the r dio. The FM indic tor nd the
current st tion frequency will show on the displ y. The displ y will utom tic lly
switch b ck to the time fter 5 seconds.
2. T p either one of the TUNE +/- BUTTONS (#2 / #1) to step through nd djust the
r dio st tion frequency.
3. Auto Tuning: Press nd hold either one of the TUNE +/- BUTTONS (#2 / #1) to
utom tic lly tune to the next or previous v il ble st tion.
4. T p either one of the VOLUME +/-
BUTTONS (#8 / #11) to obt in the desired
volume level.
5. Press the RADIO BUTTON (#3) to turn the r dio off.
Notes:
• Use m nu l tuning to select we ker st tions th t might be skipped during
utom tic tuning.
• If the utom tic tuning does not stop on the ex ct frequency of the st tion, for
ex mple, it stops on 88.9 MHz inste d of 88.8 MHz, use the m nu l tuning method
to “fine tune” to the ex ct frequency of the desired st tion.
• To ensure m ximum FM tuner reception, unwr p nd fully extend the FM
ANTENNA (#18) for best FM r dio reception.
Setting and Recalling the Radio Station Presets
1. T p the RADIO BUTTON (#3) to turn on the r dio.
2. T p either one of the TUNE +/- BUTTONS (#2 / #1) to step through nd djust the
desired r dio st tion frequency.
3. Press nd hold the SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) until the memory loc tion
“P01” (or the next v il ble preset loc tion) st rts fl shing on the displ y.
4. Rele se the SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) nd the memory loc tion
continues fl shing on the displ y.
5. T p either one of the VOLUME +/-
BUTTONS (#8 / #11) to ch nge the preset
st tion number loc tion (P01-P10) nd select the one where you w nt to s ve the
current st tion.
6. Press the MEM SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) g in to confirm nd s ve the
preset. The memory loc tion will stop fl shing nd the displ y will ch nge b ck to
the r dio st tion.
7. Repe t steps 2 through 6 to store up to 10 st tions.
8. To rec ll one of the preset st tions lre dy progr mmed, t p the
SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) repe tedly until you re ch the desired preset
number/r dio st tion.

LISTEN TO SOOTHING SOUNDS
1. T p the SOUNDS BUTTON (#4) to turn on the soothing sounds.
2. Repe tedly t p the SOUNDS BUTTON (#4) to select one of the sounds v il ble.
The sound indic tor nd sound will ch nge every time the SOUNDS BUTTON (#4)
is pressed. Av il ble sounds include, Chirping Birds (def ult) / Oce n
/
Summer Night / W terf ll
/ Thunder
Storm / C mpfire
/ He rtbe t
/ White Noise .
3. Once sound is selected, repe tedly t p the TONE BUTTON to ch nge the tone
level (0-14 - def ult is 6) of the sound pl ying.
4. Repe tedly t p the VOLUME +/- BUTTON (#8 / #11) to incre se/decre se the
volume level (0-15 levels - def ult is 7) of the sound pl ying.
5. Press nd hold SOUNDS BUTTON (#4) for 2s to turn off the sounds.
6. The l st sound settings will be stored in memory if you h ve b ttery inst lled in
the b ck-up comp rtment.
SLEEP TIMER OPER TION
The sleep timer llows the unit to turn off utom tic lly fter design ted time h s
el psed.
Press the TIMER button to set sleep time of 30/60/90 minutes while pl ying sounds
or the r dio, the chosen sleep time dur tion will show in the top right corner of the LCD
DISPLAY (#16).
DIMMER OPER TION
In st ndby mode, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER BUTTON (#12) repe tedly to select
the brightness settings of the displ y (High, Medium, Low or OFF).
NIGHT LIGHT OPER TION
Press NIGHT LIGHT BUTTON (#15) repe tedly to select the brightness settings of the
nightlight (High, Medium, Low or OFF).
C RE ND M INTEN NCE
•
Cle n the r dio with soft d mp cloth nd let ll p rts dry completely fter
cle ning.
•
Do not use ny ggressive cle ners, brushes with nylon bristles, sh rp or met llic
cle ning utensils, knives, h rd scr pers nd the like. They could d m ge the
surf ces of the r dio.

Do not immerse the r dio in w ter nd do not let w ter getting into the housing of
the r dio.
•
Unplug the power d ptor nd cle n the r dio before stor ge.
•
