The JET 18" Bandsaw has been equipped with a
heavy-duty gear box allowing it to cut both wood
and metal. A lever on the gear box allows for quick
indexing between high and low speeds. Additional
speeds can be congured under each gear by
advancing the drive belt among the three pulley
diameters. The pivoting motor and gear box assembly
with tension release handle makes advancing
the drive belt quick and easy. Additional features
include blade tracking adjustment window, precision
roller bearing blade guides, and a precision T-square
style fence.
