Quick Start
 Charging
Charging Red light keeps on

Note: Please fully charge the device for first use.
 Insert Sim Card
 Insert the Nano SIM into the device.

 When putting the battery lid back, please align it and press it
lightly to lock it in.
 Power On / Off
 Power On: Long press the SOS button over 3 seconds to turn
on the device. Blue, Red and Green flicker alternately means
the device is on.
 Power Off: there are 2 ways to turn off the device
- With SIM card detected: Short press the SOS button for 5times.
- No SIM card detected: Press the SOS button over 3 seconds.

 Download “JIMIMAX” App
 Sign up and Login
 When first using, please click the “Sign Up” to create an
account.
 Fill in a valid email and click “GET CODE”. You will receive a
verification code by email.

 Type in the verification code, and set a password to sign up.
 After successful registration, log in with the email and
password you just registered to enter the homepage.
 Bind device to APP
 Click the middle icon “Add device” to add the tracker device.
 Scan or type in the IMEI barcode on the package or device.
 Device Online
 If the SIM card network is working properly, you should see
your device online in the list. You can tap the device to enter
the map page.

 If the device is offline, the APP will prompt you whether you
want run an offline analysis.
 Check the device or SIM card follow the analysis result. If you
cannot fix it, please click “Contact Us” or the floating “Get
Help” icon to chat with our technical support team.

 Trip Tracking & Navigation
- Tapping “Tracking” button to enter the Track page.

 History Playback
- Tapping “Playback” button to enter Trips page.
- Choose a date you want to playback and click “Continue” button
- Tap on to play the history.

 Preset SOS Number
- Tapping “Settings” button to enter Settings page.
- Preset the phone numbers you want the tracker to call when the
SOS alert triggered.
*If there is an error when sending, please take a screenshot and contact us.
Tap “Send” to submit

- Preset the whitelist of numbers you allowed to call to the device.
Note:
1. Please set at least one SOS number to ensure the SOS call
triggered successfully.
2. To avoid unexpected situations in emergencies, please test
calling the tracker after setting the number.
 Make Phone Call: Long press the SOS button over 3
seconds to call the SOS numbers. (You will also get an Alert
from the platform)
 Pick up Call: Short press the SOS button to answer incoming

 Call Tracker: Dial the SIM card number of Tracker with the
whitelist number.
 Geo-Fence
- Tapping “More” button and tapping Fence in the pull up menu to
enter Fence page. Tapping ‘+Add’ Button to add a new fence.

 FAQ
Q: After scan the QR, it prompts that the IMEI does not exist
or already bind.
A: Part of the IMEI will missed when importing the system or the
engineer forget to unbind and restore the factory settings during
random inspections. Please provide the IMEI number to contact us
to import the IMEI for you or reset the factory settings remotely,
which will not affect normal use.
Q: Cannot find QBIT on the map, it only shows the location of
my phone.
A: There is no positioning point of the device on the map because
the device has not uploaded any positioning data.
If QBIT is online, please bring the device to an open sky to get GPS
signals.
If QBIT is offline, please check battery power and SIM card data
balance first, and contact us.
Q: I inserted another 2G SIM card and QBIT stopped working.
Why?
A: Each operator has a different APN. After changing the SIM card,
you need to set a matching APN for QBIT to connect to the GSM
network.
You can consult the operator or Google the search term: operator's

name + SIM APN to find the APN name.
e.g.：Google the APN
Then inserting the SIM card into the phone and turn off the PIN.
Then insert the card into the QBIT and keep it on.
e.g.：Disable the PIN
Then send a command to the SIM card in the device via SMS:
APN,name#
e.g.：Send APN command
APN: mobiledata
Command: APN,mobiledata#
(No spaces between)

After sending, the device will reply "OK" and reboot the device.
Once the QBIT gets online again, means it can now successfully
connect to the network via the new SIM card.
Q: Why does the QBIT offline on the JIMIMAX?
 Check Battery Status: Please make sure that the device is
power on. Please fully charge it before use.
 Check SIM Card Status: If you are using the original SIM card,
please contact us to check for you. If not please make sure the
SIM you inserted support 2G network, and the APN has been
set.
 Check Data Status: The original SIM card has 200KB of free
data for testing. After running out, you need to Top-up in the
"JIMI SIM".
You can also type in ICCID on this website: wx.linksfield.net to
top-up or check subscription status.
(This function is only valid for the original SIM card)

If you are using other SIM cards, please top-up on the
operator’s website.

This warranty covers any manufacturing defects to the device or
accessories encountered by normal use. This warranty does NOT
cover damages resulting from improper use of the device
(including the use of incompatible accessories such as chargers,
storage devices, etc.), unauthorized modifications to the device,
negligence, water damage, or from any environmental or natural
disasters, or loss or theft.

can help you clear your data, unbundle your device and check if
the auto-renewal has been canceled to avoid any unnecessary
hassle for you.
