When in stalling a subwoofer in your ve hicle, it is extremely i mp orta nt to secure th e enclosure firmly. We reco mm end
bolting the enc l os ure through the me ta l of the floorpan or the frame of th e vehicle with large diameter washe rs
for re inf orcement. If an encl os ure is n ot fir mly a tta ched, it can b ec om e a pr ojectile in a collision. This is particularly
important in a hat c hb ack, station wagon , sports utility vehicle, or van.

lower than th e woofer's continuous pow er rating
(as published in its specifications), but you will sti ll
be takingadvantage of the woofer 's ,l ow -distor ti on
performance range with o ut undu e risk of fa ilure.

Subwoofer drivers operated at these levels of
power are NOT covered under warranty.
JL Audio offers an extensive line of high-performance subwoofer drivers to fit a wide variety of enclosure and power applications . When designing systems with our drivers , it is very important to achieve a
good power match between the subwoofer amplifier and the subwoofer driver's capabilities. The power levels listed in the above chart represent continuous (RMS) amplifier power per woofer and assume
that the user will regularly make full use of that power without drasticallv overdrivina tha ampllfier(s).Make sure you factor system impedance and the total number of subwoofers into your calculations.
Adhering to these power recommendations will result in systems that are both reliable and enjoyable.
