Cautions
Precautions and maintenance
•For indoor use only.
•To avoid risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the unit to moisture or condensation
condition.
•To avoid overheating,do not block the ventilation holes on the Digital Photo Frame.
●Keep the Digital Photo Frame from direct sunlight.
●Do not dismantle the Digital Photo Frame. There is a risk of electric shock and there are no
user-serviceable parts inside. Dismantling the Digital Photo Frame will void your warranty.
Cleaning the LCD Screen
Treat the screen carefully. Because the screen of the Digital Photo Frame is made of glass and it
would be easily broken or scratched.
You can use a soft, non-abrasive cloth such as a camera lens or glass cloth to clean the LCD
screen If fingerprints or dust accumulate on the LCD screen, It will be better to moisten the
cleaning cloth with detergent to wipe the screen..

2. Installing & Replacing the Battery
Place the remote control face down, press down on the ridged area of the battery cover and pull
towards you to remove the tray. Place one CR2025 lithium button-cell battery on the tray with the
positive “+” side facing you. Reinsert the tray.

3. Getting Started
Remove the protective film covering on the LCD.Remove the plastic battery insulator from the
battery compartment and make sure the remote control has a battery inside. Please refer to
“Installing & Replacing Battery” if you need a new battery.
When insert the plug and then the unit will power on, to power off press the On/Off button on the
Remote Control.
4. Operating instruction
After startup picture, there will be the menu as:

User can choose desired function, and then press OK to confirm it.
The photo frame supports reading USB-disk & memory card (SD/MMC.. System will read
USB-disk firstly by default when 2 kinds of media inserted.
USB connection
When connected with a PC, it will go directly to the USB mode and display "Connecting PC ..."
message. At the same time on the PC you can see the DPF icon on the screen. Disconnect the
USB cable or press the ESC key to exit the U disk mode. The photo frame can also be used as a
card reader while connected to your PC.

5. Photo Mode
Select Image browsing, enter the picture browsing mode.
In the picture preview window, you can simultaneously display multiple small figure (1-20 sheets..
Photos details will be displayed on the right area of the display. This can include: total number of
files and file location, file name, image resolution, image size and image modification date.
Press the arrow keys (up, down, left, right. to select a picture, press the OK button to enter current
picture. You can toggle between Browse Mode and Slideshow Mode by pressing enter.
5.2 Browse Mode: To browse during single picture display you need to manually switch the picture
with the left and right button.
5.3 Slideshow Mode: The pictures will show one after the other with a delay time as set in setting
menu.

6. Video Mode
ENTER the video mode. Enter the video file list window, as shown below:
7. Music Mode
ENTER the music player. It will show the music file selection screen. Currently
supported music formats MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, OGG.
The right side of the display will show information about the music file, which may include the song
file name, song title, artist name, album name, etc.

8 Clock Calendar mode
There are two clock calendar display modes: monthly calendar, calendar
Two kinds of time format: 12-hour, 24-hour clock. In the settings menu you can change the type of
calendar which you like.
Monthly calendar
This mode will show the date and the whole month together with a Slideshow picture.
Current date calendar
This mode only shows the current date together with a Slideshow picture.

9 File Manager
File management functions can be selected in the media file management.
Left of Scroll bar is the list of all folders and files in the current location path. The right shows such
information as name of the file or folder, the total number of projects under the path, and the time of
creation the selected item.
10. System function setting
Enter the setup menu; select the main window to enter:
Through UP, DONW select Settings sub-options press ENTER to enter the sub- item settings

12. Troubleshooting Guide
If you are having problems with your player, please consult both this guide and manual. If you need
further assistance, please contact Technical Support.
No power:
Please check whether the plug is inserted correctly.
Remote control no function:
Please check whether the battery has power (the battery can be used for half a year in normal
conditions.. Replace with new battery if necessary.
Can not read the CARD or USB:
Please confirm whether there is storage in the card or USB device.
Empty devices cannot be read.
Can not play the file:
Please confirm if the file format is compatible with the player.
Display too bright or too dark:
Please adjust the brightness or contrast in the setup menu.
The colour is light or no colour:
Please adjust the colour and contrast setup.
No sound:
Please check whether the volume is correct and the player is not in Mute mode.
Warranty conditions
This product is subject to the legal warranty periods relating to manufacturing faults and defects.
Substance of the warranty:
1. In the event of malfunctioning caused by manufacturing defects JOBO will repair or replace
the defective product at its own discretion.
2. JOBO and its suppliers do not assume any liability for data losses occurring during operation
of the device or consequential damage resulting from this. Under no circumstances will JOBO
assume liability for any direct, concrete or special damage or consequential damage like for
example damage to or loss of property or devices, loss of profits or sales, costs for spare parts,

expenditure or inconvenience caused by the interruption of service or any other damage. The user
will be exclusively responsible for the loss, damage or destruction of data during the operation of a
JOBO product. Under no circumstances will JOBO be liable for the recreation of such data. Under
no circumstances can claims be lodged that exceed the purchase price of the product.
3. The following repairs are not covered by the warranty and must be paid for separately:
- Malfunctions after the end of the legal warranty periods.
- Change of battery after the end of the warranty period.
- Malfunctions due to incorrect operation by the user (if device is not used as described in the
manual..
- Malfunctions caused by other devices.
- Changes or damage to the device not caused by the manufacturer. especially, warranty claims
will lapse if the device has been opened by anyone other than by a JOBO repair workshop.
- Damage caused by natural disasters (acts of God..
If you want to make any claims under the warranty you are asked to contact the Technical Service
of JOBO. You will be expected to quote the serial number of the JOBO product and may also have
to submit proof of purchase to show that the warranty period has not yet elapsed.

packaging. These Packaging can be recycled. Disposal of WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment must be separated from household rubbish and
disposed at sites that collect WEEE.
By orderly disposing you will avoid damage to be caused to the environment.
