•The monitor builtin this unit has been produced with
high precision, but it may havesome ineffectivedots.
This is inevitableand is not malfunction.
•Do not expose the monitor to direct sunlight.
•Do not operate the touch panel using aball-point pen

Touch the buttons on the touch panel with your finger
directly(if you are wearing aglove, takeit off).
•When the temperature is very coldor very hot...
– Chemical changes occur inside, causing
malfunction.
– Pictures may not appear clearlyor may move
slowly. Pictures may not be synchronized with
the sound or picture quality may decline in such
environments.
•Afterimage may occur if displaying acertain image on
the monitor for along time. This is not malfunction.

How toreset your unit
• Your preset adjustments will also be erased (except the
registered Bluetooth devices).
For safety...
•Do not raise the volume level too much, as this will
makedriving dangerous by blocking outside sounds,
and may cause hearing loss.
•Stop the car before performing any complicated
operations.
Temperature insidethecar...
Ifyou haveparked the car for along time in hot or cold
weather, wait until the temperature in the car becomes
normal before operating the unit.

Disc/USB operations
Playing a disc
•Ifadisc does not haveany disc menu, all trackson it will be played repeatedlyuntil you change the source or eject
the disc.
~Open themonitor panel.
•You can also open the monitor panel from the
<Open/Tilt> screen. (6)

Monitor panel closes automatically.
Toeject a disc
The monitor panel opens and the disc is ejected.
•Ifthe ejected disc is not removed within 15 seconds,
the disc is automaticallyinserted again into the
loading slot.

Do not place your finger behind the monitor panel.
•If“ ” appears on the screen, the unit cannot accept the operation you havetried to do.
– Insome cases, without showing“ ,” operations will not be accepted.
•When playing back amulti-channel encoded disc, the multi-channel signalsare downmixed.

Cautions:
•Avoid using the USB device if it might hinder your
safety driving.
•Do not pull out and attach the USB device repeatedly
while“Now Reading” is shown on the screen.
•Do not start the car engine if aUSB device is
connected.
•Stop playback before disconnecting aUSB device.
•Electrostatic shock at connecting aUSB device may
cause abnormal playback of the device. Inthis case,
disconnect the USB device then reset this unit and the
USB device.
•This unit may not be ableto play the files depending
on the type of USB device.
•Operation and power supplymay not work as
intended for some USB devices.
•Do not leaveaUSB device in the car, expose to direct
sunlight, or high temperature to avoid deformation or
cause damages to the device.

Playing a USB device
•This unit can play JPEG/MPEG1/MPEG2*/MP3/WMA/WAV files stored in USB mass storage class device.
•All tracksin the USB device will be played repeatedlyuntil you change the source.
•Makesure all important data has been backed up to avoid losing the data.
*Except for MPEG2 files recorded by JVC Everio camcorder (extension code <.mod>).
You can connect aUSB mass storage class device such as aUSB memory, Digital Audio Player etc. to the unit.
•You cannot connect acomputer or portableHDD to the USB cablefrom the rear of the unit.
