Important Safety Instructions
1. This unit is intended for indoor, domestic use only. Do not use in high
temperatures or wet environments.
2. To reduce the risk or electric shock or fire, do not remove the
cabinet cover. No user serviceable parts inside.
3. In case of any malfunction, do not attempt to repair the unit on your
own. Contact a qualified service professional for a proper diagnosis
and repair.
4. Do not expose to dripping or splashing liquids.
5. If any liquids enter the unit, turn it off immediately and discontinue
use or charging until it is checked by a professional.
6. Use on a horizontal, firm surface with good ventilation.
7. Don’t use in or near a place where the unit may come in contact
with rain, moisture or other liquids.
8. Caution: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced or not
replaced by the same or equivalent type. The built-in battery is not
user replaceable.
9. To prevent battery explosion, do not use in areas of extreme heat,
fire or in areas with direct exposure to sunlight.
10. Batteries must be inserted with correct polarities. Do not mix
different types of batteries.
11. Used batteries must be removed promptly, and disposed of safely.
12. Do not place any objects filled with water over the apparatus.
13. Do not block the ventilation holes.
14. Use a suitable USB adaptor that supplies DC 5V, 1A for charging.
15. When using high output signal, do not turn the volume to maximum
in order to avoid distortion.
16. This device is not a toy. Children should be monitored to ensure that
they do not play with the device.

Operation:
Turning the unit on or off
1. Set the ON/OFF Switch on the rear of the unit to the ON position
to turn on the unit.
2. To switch the unit to standby, press and hold the Power Button on
the remote control or the Mode Button on the unit for 3 seconds.
3. To switch the unit from standby to on, press and hold the Power
Button on the remote control for 3 seconds or short press the
Mode Button on the unit.
4. To turn off the unit completely, set the ON/OFF Switch on the rear
of the unit to the OFF position.
Bluetooth Mode
1. Press the Mode Button on the unit to switch to Bluetooth Mode.
The LED Display shows ‘Blue’.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone or other
Bluetooth-enabled device, search for ‘RV-N120’ and click connect.
3. To disconnect Bluetooth, press and hold Play/Pause Button for 3
seconds. Now you can connect to another device by repeating the
above steps.
4. Short press Next/ Volume + to play the next song; long press to
increase the volume.
5. Short press Previous/ Volume – to play the previous song; long
press to decrease the volume.

USB/microSD Mode
1. Insert the USB or microSD memory device to the respective slot.
The unit automatically switches to USB or microSD Mode. Display
shows 'USB' or ‘TF’.
2. Press the Play/Pause Button to pause play; press again to continue
playing.
3. Short press Next/ Volume + to play the next song; long press to
increase the volume.
4. Short press Previous/ Volume – to play the previous song; long
press to decrease the volume.
5. File formats that can be played: MP3 /WAV/APE/WMA.
6. Max. size of device that can be connected: 32G
FM Mode
1. Press the Mode Button to switch to FM Mode. Display shows
‘<current station>FM
2. Long press the Play/Pause Button to automatically search for
available stations. When the search is complete, the stations will be
saved.
3. Short press Next/ Volume + to play the next station; long press to
increase the volume.
4. Short press Previous/ Volume – to play the previous station; long
press to decrease the volume.

AUX Mode
Use the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the AUX input on the unit to
the headphone output of a suitable auxiliary device like a mobile phone or a
tablet. Display shows ’AUX’.
Microphone Function
Connect a microphone to the MIC Input for sing along purposes. You can
also record your singing as described below.
Record Function (using remote control)
You can record the sound source when using a microphone. These
recordings are stored on to a connected USB device or microSD card. If both
USB and microSD devices are connected, recording will be stored on the
USB.
1. Press the 'REC' Button on the remote control to start recording. Press
again to stop recording.
2. Press the 'REC Play' Button on the remote control to play your recording.
Phone Call Function
1. When connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, press the Play/Pause
Button on the unit to answer the phone call.
2. Press the Play/Pause Button again to end the phone call.

Charging the Battery
This portable speaker uses a built-in rechargeable battery. When battery is
low, the battery icon on the LED Display keeps flashing. Charge it as soon as
possible.
To charge, connect the microUSB end of the provided Charging Cable to the
DC In Charging Port on the unit and connect the USB end to a suitable USB
adaptor (DC 5V, 1A). The Battery Indicator shows red during charging and
turns off when the unit is fully charged. Remove the Charging Cable from the
unit promptly.
Note: For faster charging, set the On/Off Switch on the rear of the unit to
the Off position.
Remote control
The remote control uses 2 x AAA batteries (included). Ensure correct
polarities when inserting/replacing batteries.

1. : Short Press to mute or restore sound, long press for 3
seconds to enter Standby mode.
2. MODE: Press to switch between the different modes
(USB/TF/FM/BT/AUX).
3. REC: When a microphone is connected, press REC button to start
recording; press REC button again to stop recording.
4. CH -: Play the previous channel or song.
5. : Press to repeat the current song; press again to repeat all
the songs.
6. Number Buttons: In USB/microSD Mode, choose a particular
number song to play.
7. REC PLAY: Play the recorded music.
8. VOL +: Increase the volume.
9. Play/Pause/SCAN: Short press to play or pause the current song on
USB/TF mode. In FM mode, long press to scan the available
channels.
10. CH +: Play the next channel or song.
11. VOL –: Decrease the volume.
12. 5+: Jump forward 5 songs. For example, if you want to play the 8th
song, press the Number Button ‘3’, then press ‘5+’ button once; if
you want to play the 15th song, press the ‘5+’ Button 3 times.
