IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose or submerge the K3
Recess Speaker under water. Also, do not remove the cover or back. No user serviceable
parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
This symbol is intended to alert user to the presence of non-insulated
‘dangerous voltage’ within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute risk of electric shock to persons.
This symbol is intended to alert user to the presence of important operating
and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the
appliance.
1. Read through the manual before operating.
2. Follow all instructions in the manual.
3. Keep the manual for future reference.
4. Do not use the device in places that are extremely hot, cold, dusty or humid.
5. Do not keep the device in a high humidity area such as a bathroom, kitchen sink or
pool. Keep the apparatus away from heaters, stoves, etc. Never leave the speaker in
an area exposed to direct sunlight where considerable rise in temperature.
6. Do not block any ventilation openings. The ventilation should not be impeded by
covering the ventilation openings.
7. Clean the outer silicon shell with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent
solution. Do not use strong solvents which may cause unpredictable damage to the

device and/or finish.
8. Do not use attachments/accessories not recommended by the product manufacturer
as they may damage device
9. Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be trapped in any
way. Also protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at
plugs, convenience receptacles, etc.
10. This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the
marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult
your product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from
battery power, or other sources, refer to the operation instructions.
11. If the device is not used for a period of time, please unplug the power cord.
12. If it is lightening, unplug the power cord to prevent the unit from unnecessary
damages.
13. Never try to disassemble batteries. Neither place batteries under the direct sunlight
nor dispose into fire or heater. Each of these may cause un-necessary damage.
13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
14. Minimum distance 5 cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilations

eco-sustainability purposes.

BEFORE USE
1. Choose unit installation location carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or close to
a source of heat. Also avoid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust, cold or
moisture. Keep away from sources that hum, such as transformers or motors.
2. Do not open the silicon cover as this might result in damage to the circuitry or electrical
shock. If a foreign object should get into the set, contact your dealer.
3. When removing the cable, always pull directly on the plug, never pull the cord.
4. Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the
silicon finish.
5. In order to shut off the power to this product completely, unplug the power cord from
the wall outlet. Be sure to unplug the unit if you do not intend to use it for an extended
period of time, such as while on vacation.
6. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

HOW TO CHARGE YOUR K3 RECESS SPEAKER
The K3 Recess Portable Speaker can be charged by some devices that have USB
portal/socket.
1. Plug the USB cable (smaller end) into the DC-IN 5V micro portal/socket of the K3
Speaker.
2. Then plug the other end (larger end) of USB cable into the USB socket of the devices
that have the USB socket. This could be USB portal on your computer, a portable K3
charger with USB charging ports, a wall charger, etc.
Note: The indicator will light red and start flashing when the speaker is charging. Once the speaker is
fully charged, the indicator lights will STOP FLASHING. Unplug the USB cable and turn off the speaker if
not in use.
HOW TO CHARGE ANOTHER USB DEVICE
The K3 Portable Speaker can charge any number of devices that have USB portal/socket.
1. Plug the USB cable (larger end) into the DC-OUT USB socket of the speaker.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB socket of the devices that have the
USB socket of the product requiring charge. You will utilize the charge cable which
applies to the device you are charging.
3. Press the button to start charging and the indicator will light green and start
flashing. Please note, the green light on your speaker will flash slowly while charging
other device. If the green light is flashing rapidly, the speaker is in Bluetooth/Speaker
mode. Please push and release power button again to switch into charging mode to
charge the designated device.
Please note you can either listen to K3 Recess speaker or charge another device. You
can choose one function at a time as they do not work simultaneously.
Note: Once your device is fully charged, the indicator lights will STOP FLASHING. Unplug the USB cable
and turn off the speaker and/or charger if not use.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY
External devices which have a built‐in Bluetooth feature can be connected to the K3
Recess device and play through the speakers.
TURN ON THE K3 RECESS SPEAKER
- Press and hold the button to turn on the speaker and you will hear a rising tune. The
indicator will light green and flash rapidly when the speaker is on and in Bluetooth mode.
If the green light is flashing slowly, the K3 Recess speaker is in charge mode. Please
press and release power button to move into Bluetooth mode.

Note: If there is no Bluetooth connection for a long time, you will hear a falling tune.
TO TURN OFF THE K3 RECESS SPEAKER
Press and hold the button again until the indicator turns off (i.e. no light).
GETTING CONNECTED
1. Set the Bluetooth function of your external device when the K3 Recess Speaker is on.
2. Set to search Bluetooth device on your external device.
NOTE: The effective distance between your external device and the K3 Recess Speaker
is 10 meters.
3. Wait for a while then find the “K3 RECESS” on the paired devices list on your external
device and press “K3 RECESS”.
NOTE: Dependent on your device software, a window might ask you a password. Fill in
“0000” then press “OK” on your external device.
4. A few seconds later your Bluetooth connection is success. You can hear a series of
rising tune and the indicator light will stop flashing.
ENJOY MUSIC FROM AN EXTERNAL DEVICE
1. The indicator light will stop flashing if you get your external device paired. (See
“Getting connected”);
2. Turn on the music player program on your external device and set it play. Or press
button to set it play.
3. Press and hold the button to reduce the volume;
4. Press and hold the button to increase the volume;
5. Just press the button to skip the start of the previous song;
6. Just press the button to skip the next song;
7. Press the button to pause
8. Press the button again to restart to play.
AUX-IN FUNCTION
The K3 Recess Speaker can play music from some devices that have Aux-in Socket.
1. Plug the Aux-in cable into the 3.5 mm Aux-in socket of the K3 Recess Speaker and plug
the other end of Aux-in cable into the Aux-in socket of other devices that have the
Aux-in socket; ie-the device you would like to charge.
2. Turn on the unit and it will play music automatically.
3. Press and hold the / button to adjust volume.

LEGAL LIABILITY
This battery can be used only with compatible electronic equipment. Please read
your equipment packaging instructions to determine whether this battery is
compatible with your equipment. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any
damage to electronic equipment during the use of this product.
For any equipment or accessories not suitable for this battery, the manufacturer
shall not be held liable for damage caused by misuse or damage incurred by the
buyer or the third party rising from any intentional use of the battery. As
mentioned above, the manufacturer shallnot be held liable for damage caused by
misuse of the battery. In case of using this battery on unintended electronic
equipment and thus causing damage, you shall be deemed to agree to pay damages
to the third party.
WARNING
Read all information and warnings before the use of this product. Improper use of
this product may lead to product damage. You (”the Buyer”) other than the dealer
will be held liable for such damages such as overhead, toxic fume, fire or explosion.
Do not keep the battery in an environment with excessively high temperatures,
including intense sunshine. Do not throw battery into fire or other extremely hot
environments. Avoid abrupt dropping, fierce bumping, friction or other impact of
the battery.
If the battery is damaged such as sinking, puncture, deformation or corrosion due to
whatever reason, stop using the battery and send it to local battery recycling center
for proper disposal.
Do not dismantle or refit this battery in any way.
Do not expose this battery to moisture or immerse it in liquid. Keep battery dry at
all times.
Do not attempt to charge the battery by using any other method other than USB
connector.
All batteries have been tested comprehensively to ensure quality. If overheating of
battery, smell, deformation or anomalies are found, you shall stop using it
immediately and contact the manufacturer.
Please send all wasted batteries to the local battery recycling center.
