Changing lamps and starters
Pull out the mains plug before changing a fluorescent lamp (3) or a starter (4).
Open the lamp holder (1) by pulling the retainer (2) off the fluorescent lamp, and then folding back
the lamp holder bracket. Hold down the red release button (5), and take the fluorescent lamp (3) up-
ward out of the fitting (6). Put the new fluorescent lamp into the lamp holder (1) first. Then push the
contact pins on the fluorescent lamp into the fitting from above, until they audibly click home. Then
close the lamp holder.
Starters (4) are taken out of their sockets by turning them anti-clockwise. Fit new startes by turning
them in the opposite direction.
