POLARIZED PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
Some appliances are equippe with a polarize plug (one bla e is
wi er than the other). To re uce the risk of electric shock, this plug
will fit into the polarize outlet only one way. If the plug oes not
properly fit into the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still oes not fit,
contact a competent qualifie electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
For appliances equippe with a stan ar plug, simply insert the plug
into the outlet without paying attention to the way you plug it.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cor is provi e to re uce the hazar s resulting

of an extension cor is not recommen e .
However, if you make use of an extension cor , care is to be
exercise in their use:
• The electrical rating of the extension cor shoul be at least
that of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension

USE
• Put the appliance on a stable, ry an heat resistant surface,
near a power outlet.
• The thermostat knob must be on its minimum position (MIN), an
the switch must be in off position. Make sure the it.
• Plug in the appliance.
• Before the first use, preheat the appliance for 10 minutes in or er
to fix the protective coating on the heating element. To o so,
press the on/off switch. Its pilot light will come on, in icating that
the appliance is switche on. Turn the thermostat knob to its
maximum position (MAX). After 10 minutes, turn the thermostat
knob to MIN an switch off the appliance to let it cool own.
Your appliance is now rea y for use.
• Always use flat-bottome saucepans especially conceive for
electric cooking plates. The saucepan base shoul i eally be of
the same size as the cooking plate to avoi a waste of heat an
energy.
• Press the on/off switch. Its pilot light will come on, in icating that
the appliance is switche on.
• Turn the thermostat knob to the right until you reach the esire
temperature setting. The heating element starts heating.
• Due to the cooking plates’ construction, resi ual heat will remain
after switching off. This may be use to keep foo warm for a
short perio .
• After use, turn the thermostat knob to "MIN" an unplug the
appliance from electrical outlet.

CLEANING AND CARE
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance an wait for it to cool
own.
• Wipe the bo y with moistene cloth or paper towels.
• To clean un er the heating element, wait until the heating
element has totally coole own. It is possible to lift up the
heating element partly in or er to clean the surface un er it with
soft amp cloth. Caution, when you lift up the heating element,
never force, as this could damage it.
• After cleaning, make sure to put the heating element back in the
correct position before using the appliance again.
• Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pa or steel wool, as this
will amage the finish.

UTILIZACIÓN
• Coloque el aparato en un superficie llana, seca y resistente al
calor, cerca e una toma e corriente.

LIMPIEZA

INSTRUCTIONS POUR LES FICHES POLARISÉES

choc électrique, cette prise ne peut être intro uite que ’une seule
façon ans la fiche murale. Si cette prise ne rentre pas correctement

CONSIGNES CONCERNANT LE CORDON
Le cor on ’alimentation e l’appareil est un cor on e type court,

UTILISATION
• Posez l'appareil sur une surface plane, sèche et résistante à la
chaleur, près 'une prise e courant.
• Le bouton u thermostat oit se trouver en position minimum

l’élément chauffant est bien fixé avant ’y poser quoi que ce
soit.
• Branchez l'appareil.

Après 10 minutes, éteignez et laissez refroi ir. Votre appareil peut
à présent être utilisé.
• Utilisez uniquement es casseroles ou poêles avec un ouble
fon conçues pour les plaques électriques. Leur iamètre ne
evra pas être inférieur à celui e l’élément chauffant afin
'éviter toute perte inutile e chaleur.
• Appuyez sur l’interrupteur. Le témoin lumineux s’allume pour
in iquer que l’appareil est sous tension.
• Pour faire chauffer la résistance, tournez le bouton u thermostat
vers la roite pour l’amener ans la position souhaitée.
• La résistance reste chau e pen ant un certain temps une fois
éteinte. Vous pouvez profiter e cette chaleur rési uelle pour
réchauffer es aliments.
• Après utilisation, placez le bouton u thermostat sur la position
"MIN", appuyez sur l’interrupteur pour étein re l’appareil et
ébranchez-le.
ENTRETIEN
• Veuillez retirer la fiche e la prise e courant et atten re que
l’appareil refroi isse avant e le nettoyer.
• Essuyez le corps e l’appareil à l’ai e e papier absorbant ou
’un chiffon oux.
• Pour nettoyer sous l’élément chauffant, atten ez qu’il refroi isse.
Vous pouvez le soulever légèrement et nettoyer essous à l’ai e
’un chiffon oux. Attention, lorsque vous soulevez l’élément
chauffant, veillez à ne pas forcer car cela pourrait
l’endommager.
• Veillez à replacer correctement l’élément chauffant quan vous
avez terminé.
• Ne nettoyez jamais votre appareil à l’ai e e pro uits abrasifs
car cela abîmerait le revêtement.

pro uit est sous garantie et vous re iriger vers le service après-vente
