IMPORTANT: Please retain your
instruction book for future use.
At Kambrook, we believe that safe performance is the first priority in any
consumer product, so that you, our valued customer can confidently
use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical appliance that
you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention
placed on the following important operating instructions.
Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook
Food Processor
• Carefully read all instructions
before operating the Kambrook
Food Processor for the first time
and save for future reference.
• Remove and safely discard
any packaging material and
promotional labels before using the
Food Processor for the first time.
• To eliminate a choking hazard for
young children, remove and safely
discard the protective cover fitted
to the power plug of this appliance.
• Do not place the Food Processor
near the edge of a bench or
table during operation. Ensure the
surface is level, clean and free of
water and other substances.
• Do not use the Food Processor on
a sink drain board.
• Do not place the Food Processor
on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or where it could touch
a heated oven.
• Handle the Food Processor and
attachments with care – remember
the drum blades and the exterior of
the drums are sharp and should be
kept out of the reach of children.
• Always ensure the Food Processor
is completely assembled before
operating. The appliance will not
operate unless properly assembled.
• Ensure the Food Processor is
switched off at the power outlet
and the power cord is unplugged
before attaching the processing
drum and food chamber.
• Do not operate the Food Processor
with wet hands.
• Do not remove the food
chamber from the motor base
whilst in operation.
• Do not push food into the food
chamber with your fingers or other
utensils. Always use the food
pusher provided.
• Keep fingers, hands, hair, clothing,
power cord, knives, spatulas and
other utensils away from moving
drums during operation.
• Do not contact with moving parts
whilst in operation.
• Do not place hands or fingers into
the processing chamber of the
Food Processor unless the motor
and processing drum have come
to a complete stop.

• Ensure the motor and drum
have completely stopped
before disassembling. Ensure the
appliance is switched off at the
power outlet and the power cord
is unplugged from the power
outlet before attempting to move
the appliance, when not in use,
if left unattended and before
disassembling, cleaning or storing.
• Do not use attachments other
than those provided with the
Food Processor.
• Do not attempt to operate the
Food Processor by any method
other than those described in
this booklet.
• Care should be taken when removing
the food from the processing
chamber by ensuring the motor and
the drum have completely stopped
before disassembling.
• Do not operate the Food Processor
continuously for periods long than
1 minute. If the Food Processor is
operated continuously for too long,
it should be allowed to rest for 25–
30 minutes before recommencing.
• Do not move the Food Processor
whilst in operation.
• Do not leave the Food Processor
unattended when in use.
• Do not place any part of the Food
Processor in the microwave oven.
• Do not place anything on top of
the Food Processor when in use
and when stored.
• Keep the Food Processor clean.
Follow the cleaning instructions
provided in this book.

Important Safeguards For All
Electrical Appliances
• Fully unwind the power cord
before use.
• Connect only to 230V or 240V
power outlet.
• Do not let the power cord hang over
the edge of a bench or table, touch
hot surfaces or become knotted.
• To protect against electric shock, do
not immerse the power cord, power
plug or appliance in water or any
other liquid, unless it is recommended
in the cleaning instructions.
• The appliance is not intended for
use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the
appliance, by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• It is recommended to inspect the
appliance regularly. Do not use
the appliance if the power supply
cord, plug, connector or appliance
becomes damaged in anyway.
Return the entire appliance to
the nearest authorised Kambrook
Service Centre for examination
and/or repair.
• Any maintenance other than
cleaning should be performed at an
authorised Kambrook Service Centre.
• This appliance is for household use
only. Do not use this appliance for
other than its intended use. Do not
use in moving vehicles or boats.
Do not use outdoors.
Misuse may cause injury.
• The installation of a residual
current device (safety switch)
is recommended to provide
additional safety protection when
using electrical appliances. It is
advisable that a safety switch with
a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30mA be installed in
the electrical circuit supplying the
appliance. See your electrician for
professional advice.
• Always turn the appliance to the
OFF position, switch off at the
power outlet and unplug at the
power outlet when the appliance
is not in use.
• Before cleaning, always turn the
appliance to the OFF position,
switch off at the power outlet,
unplug at the power outlet
and remove the power cord, if
detachable, from the appliance
and allow all parts to cool.
• Do not place this appliance on or
near a heat source, such as hot
plate, oven or heaters.
• Position the appliance at a
minimum distance of 20cm away
from walls, curtains and other heat
or steam sensitive materials and
provide adequate space above
and on all sides for air circulation.

Assembly and Operation of Your Food Processor
Before First Use
Before first use remove and safely
discard any promotional labels and
wash the food processor bowl and
all blades in warm, soapy water.
Dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Drum blades
and the exterior of the
drums must be handled
carefully as they are sharp.
Place the motor base on a level,
flat surface.
Assembly and Operation of
Your Food Processor
The food processor features a safety
locking device.
NOTE: The food processor will
not work unless all of the below
directions have been followed.
1. The processor drum is correctly
placed inside the processing
chamber, ready to be attached
to the motor housing (see Fig. 1).

NOTE:Always ensure that the
food processor is disconnected
from the power outlet before
assembling or disassembling.
To assemble the food processor,
follow the instructions below:
1. Place the food processor on a flat
surface, with the drum and food
chamber unattached.
2. Select the processing drum to be
used. Please see the processing
drum chart on page 10.
NOTE: The corresponding name
of the drum is located on the
base of the processing drum.
3. Carefully place the required
processing drum inside the
processing chamber.

4. Attach the food chamber to
the motor housing. Ensure that
the “ ” icon is aligned with the
“” symbol when attaching.
5. Rotate the food chamber in
an anti-clockwise direction to
lock into place (see Fig 3). The
processing tube should be above
the unit and the “ ” icon will be
aligned with the “ ” icon.

6. Plug the power cord into a
230V or a 240V power outlet
and turn on at the power outlet.
The food processer is now ready
for operation.

The food processor allows fast assembly and dissembling, making the processing
process simple, fast, and easy to clean afterwards. Processing is made easy,
because of the minimal parts required.
The food processor also enables food to be instantly processed and distributed
to a salad bowl or recipe, allowing for instant serving!
The food processor has 4 drums, these can be changed quickly to allow for
different processing actions.

1. Cut the food to be used into
pieces large enough to fit into
the feed chute.
2. Remove the food pusher and
stack the food inside the feed
chute.
3. With one hand, hold the handle,
and using your thumb press and
hold the ‘ON/OFF’ button to
commence operation (see Fig. 4).

4. Whilst holding the handle and
pressing the ‘ON/OFF’ button,
use your free hand to push the
food through the feed chute and
process the food at a slow even
rate.
5. The processed food will begin to
be released from the processing
chamber.
NOTE: Ensure that there is a
bowl or plate available to catch
the processed foodstuffs as they
are released.
6. Release the ‘ON/OFF’ button. The
food processor stops operation.
7. When processing has been
completed, wash the food pusher,
food chamber and processing
drums as instructed in the Care,
Cleaning and Storage section on
page 12.
NOTE: Ensure all the parts are
clear of food residue before
changing the processing drum to
continue operation.
CAUTION: The processing
drums can be changed
once the food processer
is clear of food and
the power outlet has
been switched off and
unplugged. Changing
the drums whilst the food
processor is turned on
can be dangerous and
could cause injury. Do not
come into contact with
any moving parts during
operation.

1. Always switch the food processor
off at the power outlet and then
unplug before disassembling
any parts.
2. Wash the food chamber, food
pusher, and processing drums in
warm soapy water after each use.
Rinse thoroughly and dry.
Do not soak the processing drums
in water for an extended period
of time, as it may damage the
metal finish.
3. The processing drums are
extremely sharp! Handle with care.
4. Use caution when handling and
storing these parts. Always store
the processing drums out of reach
from children.
5. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
The food pusher, food chamber
and processing drums may also
be washed in the dishwasher.
6. Wipe the motor housing with a
soft, damp cloth.
7. DO NOT immerse the motor base,
power plug or cord in water or
any other liquid.
8. Before storage, thoroughly wash
and dry all removable parts.
Assemble the food processor and
store on the kitchen bench or in
an easy to access cupboard. Store
out of reach of children. Store the
appliance upright. Do not store
anything on top of the appliance.

Carrot Cupcakes
Makes 18
300g carrots, peeled, tops removed
1 cup self-raising flour
½ cup plain flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
½ cup brown sugar
¾ cup vegetable oil
½ cup golden syrup
3 x 59g free range eggs, lightly whisked
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
Icing
200g cream cheese, cubed and softened
2 cups pure icing sugar
2 tablespoons manuka honey
2 teaspoons boiling water
1. Preheat a fan forced oven to 160ºC.
Line 3 x 6 hole cupcake tins with
patty pans.
2. Using the grating drum on the food
processor, lock the food chamber into
place and push the carrots down the
feed chute, with the pusher until all
carrots have been thinly sliced.
3. Combine all cake ingredients in
a bowl until they have all come
together consistently and evenly.
4. Distribute into patty pans and bake for
16 minutes or until a skewer is inserted
and comes out clean. Allow to cool.
5. To make the icing, combine all
of the icing ingredients using an
electric mixer, until light and fluffy,
approximately 3 minutes.
6. Pour into a piping bag with a tip
of your choice. Pipe in a circular
motion and refrigerate if not
eating immediately.
Recipes
Bolognaise Pies
Makes 6
2 medium brown onions, peeled, halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, peeled, minced
700g lean beef mince
300g carrots, peeled, tops removed
500ml tomato passata
2 sprigs thyme
1. Preheat a fan forced oven to 180ºC.
Line 6 x 15cm ramekins with oil spray
and plain flour.
2. Using the slicing drum on the food
processor, lock the food chamber into
place and push the onions down the
feed chute, with the pusher until all
onions have been thinly sliced.
3. Using a 30cm frypan, heat the oil
over a low heat and sauté the onions
and garlic until golden brown. Add
the mince and cook until browned.
Separate using a wooden spoon.
4. Using the large grating drum on
the food processor, lock the food
chamber into place and push the
carrots down the feed chute, with
the pusher until all carrots have been
thinly sliced.
5. Fold the carrot, passata and thyme
through the meat mixture and simmer
for 5 minutes.
6. Line the ramekins with puff pastry and
evenly distribute the meat mixture.
Top with a puff pastry lid (cut by using
the base of a ramekin). Brush with egg
and place into the oven for 30 minutes
or until golden brown.

Apple Coleslaw
Makes 6 serves
500g red apples, cored, peeled, halved
400g white cabbage
½ medium red onion, peeled
4 sticks celery, washed
¼ cup greek yoghurt
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon paprika
1. Using the shredding drum on the food
processor, lock the food chamber into
place and push the apples down the
feed chute, with the pusher until all
apples have been shredded.
2. Using the slicing drum on the food
processor, lock the food chamber into
place and push the cabbage, onion
and celery down the feed chute, with
the pusher until all have been thinly
sliced.
3. In a bowl, combine the yoghurt,
lemon and paprika and toss through
the coleslaw.
French Onion Soup
Makes 6 serves
4 large onions (about 1kg), halved
50g butter
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
50ml brandy
750ml vegetable stock
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 bay leaves
2 thyme sprigs
1. Using the slicing drum on the food
processor, lock the food chamber into
place and push the onions down the
feed chute, with the pusher until all
onions have been thinly sliced.
2. In a 2 litre saucepan, heat the butter
and oil over a medium heat and add
the onion. Sauté until golden brown.
3. Add the brown sugar and brandy
eand cook off for 5 minutes.
4. Add the stock, balsamic, bay leaves
and thyme and simmer over a low
heat for 30 minutes.
5. Serve soup with fresh bread, toasted
with cheese.

Three Cheese Potato Bake
Serves 8
2 medium brown onions, halved
1500g potatoes, peeled, cut to fit
1 tablespoon olive oil
40g butter
3 sprigs lemon thyme, shredded
1 cup pure cream
½ cup milk
½ cup low fat ricotta cheese
50g packet French onion soup mix
½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
½ cup vintage cheddar cheese, grated
1. Preheat a fan forced oven to 180°C.
2. Using the slicing drum on the food
processor, lock the food chamber into
place and push the onions down the
feed chute with the pusher, until all of
the onion has been thinly sliced,
wash thoroughly.
3. Using the slicing drum on the food
processor again, place the potatoes
down the feed chute until all potatoes
have been thinly sliced.
4. Using a frypan, over a medium heat,
heat the oil and butter and then sauté
the leek until golden brown, about
6 minutes.
5. Layer a 1⁄3 of the potato slices on the
base of a 3 litre crockery dish and
then add 1⁄3 of the leek, repeat until
three layers have formed.
6. In a 1 litre jug, whisk together the
thyme, cream, milk, ricotta and soup
mix. Pour over the potato and leek.
7. Top with parmesan and cheddar
cheeses and bake for 45 minutes.
8. Serve over baby spinach or as an
accompaniment to another meal.
Zucchini and Haloumi Fritters
Makes 24
300g zucchini, washed, tops removed
1 medium brown onion, peeled, halved
200g haloumi cheese
2 teaspoons lime rind
2 x 59g free range eggs
1 teaspoon dill, finely chopped
1 tablespoon mint, finely chopped
¼ cup plain flour
½ cup olive oil, for frying
1. Using the shredding drum on the food
processor, lock the food chamber into
place and push the zucchini, onion
and haloumi down the feed chute,
with the pusher until all ingredients
have been shredded.
2. Add the lime, eggs, herbs and flour
and fold to combine. Roll into 1
tablespoon sized balls and place onto
a tray with a layer of cling wrap and
refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Heat the oil over a low heat in a
frypan and cook the fritters in 2
batches. Approximately 2 minutes on
each side, but this will depend on your
frypan and your stove top. Drain on
paper towel.
4. Serve with avocado salsa and
fresh mint.

Root Vegetable Baby Food
Makes 4 serves
1 carrot, peeled, cooked
1 baby chat potato, peeled, cooked
100g sweet potato, peeled, cooked
1 tablespoon soy milk
1. Using the mashing drum on the food
processor, lock the lid into place and
push the carrot, potato and sweet
potato down the feed chute with the
food pusher until all vegetables have
been finely mashed.
2. Fold through the milk and serve or
place into air tight containers and
refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze
for up to 3 months.
NOTE: Not to be used for babies
under 12 months of age.
Apple and Pear Baby Food
Makes 4 serves
2 apples, peeled, cored, poached
2 pears, peeled, cored, poached
2 teaspoons apple juice
1. Using the mashing drum on the food
processor, lock the lid into place and
push the apple and pear down the
feed chute, with the food pusher until
all fruit has been finely mashed.
2. Fold through the apple juice and
serve or place into air tight containers
and refrigerate for up to 3 days or
freeze for up to 3 months.
NOTE: Not to be used for babies
under 12 months of age.
