Step1
Attachpansupporttubeassemblytotherearpanofthedropdownladderrackon5/16”studsthatareclosesttothe
centerofthevehicle.Securethebracketwithflatwasher(a)andnylocnut(b)onbothsides.

Step2
Attachtheladderpantothesupporttubeandmakesuretheprotectortapeonthetubeisrightbelowtheladderpan.
Securetheladderpanusingsupporttubeconnectingbracket(theshorterbracket)withflatwasher(a)andnylocnut(b).

Step3
UsetheprotectortapeincludedintheboltkitontheSupportTubejustbelowtheextensionpantopreventpaintfrom
scratching.Attachthestiffenerconnectingbracketto5/16”studindesiredlocationandthestiffener.Securethe
bracketwithflatwasher(a)andnylocnut(b).

Step4
DetachtheLadderHookandLadderStopontheoriginalpan,andinstallontothenewextensionkitasshown.Attach
ladderhooktoladderpanson5/16”studsindesiredlocation.Attachladderstoptocoincidewithladderhookbyusing
3/8”‐16x1”Hexbolt(e),3/8”flatwashers(c),3/8”nylocnut(d)andplacingstopsothetabonthestopgoesintothe
correspondingholeandslot.









