La mancata ottemperanza alle avvertenze e alle istruzio-

Prima di utilizzare questo apparecchio è bene rispettare
le seguenti norme di sicurezza al ne di evitare incidenti
come rischio di incendio, scosse elettriche e ferite perso-
nali. Non lasciar utilizzare questo apparecchio alle perso-
ne che non hanno letto il presente manuale di istruzioni.

• Dopo aver tolto l'imballaggio e prima di ogni uso as-

sicurarsi dell'integrità meccanica dell'apparecchio e di
tutti i suoi accessori.
• Gli elementi dell'imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, po-
listirolo espanso, chiodi, ecc.) non devono essere la-
sciati alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti
di pericolo.
• Prima di collegare l'apparecchio accertarsi che i dati
targa siano rispondenti a quelli della rete di distribu-
zione elettrica. La targa è situata sul fondo dell'appa-
recchio (sotto al semicoperchio inferiore)
• In generale è sconsigliato l'uso di adattatori, prese
multiple e/o prolunghe. Qualora il loro uso si rendes-
se indispensabile è necessario utilizzare solamente
adattatori semplici o multipli e prolunghe conformi alle
vigenti norme di sicurezza, facendo però attenzione
a non superare il limite di portata, in calore, corrente,
marcato sull'adatt at ore semplice e sulle prolunghe
e quello di massima potenza marcato sull'adattatore
multiplo.
• Questo apparecchio dovrà essere destinato solo all'u-
so per il quale è stato espressamente concepito e cioè
per la cottura di alimenti. Ogni altro uso è da conside-
rarsi improprio e quindi pericoloso. Il costruttore non
può essere considerato responsabile per eventuali
danni derivanti da usi impropri , erronei ed irragione-
voli.
• L'uso di qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico comporta l'os-
servanza di alcune regole fondamentali. In particola-
re:
• Non toccare l'apparecchio con mani bagnate o umide
• Non usare l'apparecchio a piedi nudi

• Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l'apparecchio per
staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente
• Non lasciare esposto l'apparecchio ad agenti atmo-
sferici (pioggia , sole, ecc...)
• Non permettere che l'apparecchio sia usato da bam-
bini o da incapaci, senza sorveglianza.
• Prima di e󰀨ettuare qualsiasi operazione di pulizia o
di manutenzione sull'apparecchio disinserire la spina
dalla rete di alimentazione elettrica.
• Si raccomanda di alimentare l'apparecchio attraverso
un interruttore di󰀨erenziale (RCD) con corrente d'in-
tervento non superiore a 30 mA.
• Allorché si decida di non utilizzare più un apparecchio
di questo tipo, si raccomanda di renderlo inoperante
tagliandone il cavo di alimentazione dopo aver stac-
cato la spina dalla presa di corrente. Si raccomanda,
inoltre, di rendere innocue quelle parti dell'apparec-
chio suscettibili di costituire un pericolo, specialmente
per i bambini che potrebbero servirsi dell'apparecchio
fuori uso per i propri giochi.
• L'installazione deve essere e󰀨ettuata secondo le
istruzioni del costruttore. Una errata installazione può
causare danni a persone, animali o cose, nei confron-
ti dei quali il costruttore non può essere considerato
responsabile.
• La sicurezza elettrica di questo apparecchio è assi-
curata soltanto quando lo stesso è correttamente col-
legato ad un e󰀩cace impianto di messa a terra come
previsto dalle vigenti norme di sicurezza elettrica.
• E' necessaria vericare questo fondamentale requi-
sito di sicurezza e, in caso di dubbio, richiedere un

controllo accurato dell'impiant o da parte di personale
professionalmente qualicato. Il costruttore non può
essere considerato responsabile per eventuali danni
causati dalla mancanza di messa a terra dell'impianto.
• Vericare che la portata elettrica dell'impianto e delle
prese di corrente siano adeguate alla potenza massi-
ma dell'apparecchio indicata in targa, in caso di dub-
bio rivolgersi ad una persona professionalmente qua-
licata.
• Per evitare surriscaldamenti pericolosi, si raccoman-
da di svolgere per tutta la sua lunghezza, il cavo di
alimentazione e di utilizzare l'apparecchio come con-
sigliato.
• Non lasciare l'apparecchio inutilmente inserito. Stac-
care la spina alla rete di alimentazione quando l'appa-
recchio non è utilizzato.
• Mantenere un'adeguata distanza da pareti, oggetti,
ecc.
• Controllare regolarmente che il cavo di alimentazione
elettrica non presenti segni di danneggiamento o in-
vecchiamento.
IMPORTANTI NORME DI SICUREZZA
• Si raccomanda di alimentare l'apparecchio attraverso
un interruttore di󰀨erenziale (RCD) con corrente d'in-
tervento non superiore a 30 mA.
• Vericare prima di ogni utilizzo l'integrità meccanica
dell'apparecchio. Gli involucri esterni non devono pre-

sentare rotture o incrinature. La guaina e la spina del
cavo di alimentazione non devono evidenziare scre-
polature o rotture.
• Nel caso si verichi quanto sopra, staccare subito la
spina dalla presa di corrente.
• Prima di e󰀨ettuare qualsiasi operazione, disinserire
la spina di alimentazione dalla presa di corrente ed
attendere che l'apparecchio si sia completamente raf-
freddato.
• Mantenere lontano il cavo di alimentazione elettrica
dalle parti calde dell'apparecchio.
• Durante l'uso l'apparecchio si riscalda. Per evitare
possibili scottature, operare con attenzione in modo
da non toccare le parti calde dell'apparecchio (piastre
e coperchi).
• Attendere che l'apparecchio si sia completamente raf-
freddata prima di riporlo.
• L'apparecchio non è stato studiato per essere utiliz-
zato sotto la pioggia e non deve essere depositato
all'apert o o in luoghi umidi.
• Non immergere mai l'apparecchio in acqua.
• Non lasciare l'apparecchio a portata di mano di bam-
bini o di persone incapaci.
• Al termine dell'uso staccare sempre la spina dalla pre-
sa di corrente.

MONTAGGIO/SMONTAGGIO
Le piastre (3) possono essere rimos-
se facendo pressione sulle levette (7)
Per rimontarle correttamente, posi-
zionare le sedi negli appositi ganci e
premere la piastra (3) in prossimità della levetta (7) sino a sentirne l'aggancio.
UTILIZZO
• Vericare che le piastre (3) siano correttamente alloggiate nella propria
sede .
• Al primo impiego si consiglia di ungere leggermente entrambe le piastre (3)
con olio commestibile solo dopo averle lavate ed asciugate.
• Assicurarsi che la spina di alimentazione elettrica sia correttamente inserita
nella presa.
• Regolare la manopola del termostato (5) sul valore di temperatura ed atten-
dere che la spia luminosa (6) si sia spenta .
I tempi di cottura dipendono dal tipo di cibo, dal suo spessore e dal gusto perso-
nale. A titolo orientativo possono essere ritenuti validi i tempi di cottura riportati
nella tabella serigrafata sul coperchio superiore (7) e riportata in basso a questa
pagina. Scongelare completamente gli alimenti prima di procede alla cottura.

POSIZIONE DELL'APPARECCHIO
I piani di cottura dell'apparecchio possono essere posizionati in tre di󰀨erenti
modi:
1. Cottura con piastre a contatto dei cibi (per bistecche, letto di pesce, etc.)
Aprire l'apparecchio.
Posare gli alimenti sulla piastra inferiore.
Richiudere il coperchio superiore (1) a contatto dell'ali mento.
2. Cottura di cibi ad alto spessore (per pesce, costate, panini, etc.)
Aprire l’apparecchio.
Posare gli alimenti sulla piastra inferiore .
Sollevare il coperchio superiore (1) no all’arresto e richiuderlo prestando at-
tenzione a󰀩nchè i pioli si appoggino nelle proprie sedi.
3. Impieghi vari (scaldavivande, carni allo spiedo, contorni, etc.)
1. Sollevare il coperchio superiore (l) sino all'arrest o ed aprire completamente
l'apparecchio .
PULIZIA
• Prima di e󰀨ettuare le operazioni di pulizia, disinserire sempre la spina dalla
rete di alimentazione elettrica ed attendere che l'apparecchio si sia comple-
tamente ra󰀨reddato.
• Per la pulizia dei coperchi (1 e 2) utilizzare un panno umido. Evitare l'uso di
detergenti abrasivi.
• Per facilitare la pulizia delle piastre ed evitare danneggiamenti, si consiglia
di lasciare immerse le piastre per alcune ore in acqua calda e detersivo.
Procedere poi alla normale pulizia con una spugnetta non abrasiva.
• Le piastre (3) possono essere rimosse e lavate normalmente con acqua
calda e detersivo. Per la rimozione di residui dalle piastre (3) non utilizzare
utensili o detergenti abrasivi che potrebbero danneggiare o gra󰀩are lo spe-
ciale rivestimento antiaderente.
• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua.

WARNINGS

• After unpacking the unit, make sure that the mechanical
parts of the unit and all its attachments are not damages.

• Before connecting the unit, make sure that the voltage
detais marked on the identifying plates corresponds to
those on your main s power supply. The plate is a󰀩xed

to the lower section of the device (below the lower half
cover).
• Should the wall outlets and the unit plug be incompati-
ble with each other, have the wall outlet replaced by an
appropriate one by a qualied elettrician who, in particu-
lar, shall also make sure cross corresponds to the absor-
bed power of the appliance. Generally, adapters , multi-
ple socket and / or extension cables should not be used.
However, if necessary, only use single or multiple adap-
ters and extensions cables, which comply with existing

ASSEMBLY / DISASSEMBLY
• The plates (3) can be removed
by pressing the levers (7)
• To reassemble them correctly,
place the seats on the special
hooks and press the plate (3)

USE
• Check that the plates (3) are correctly seated in their seat
• When used for the rst time, it is recommended to lightly grease both plates
(3) with edible oil only after washing and drying.
• Make sure the power supply plug is inserted correctly into the socket.
• Set the thermostat knob (5) to the temperature value and wait for the indica-
tor light (6) to go out.Cooking times depend on the type of food, its thickness
and personal taste. As a guide, the cooking times shown in the table printed
on the screen on the top cover (1) and shown at the bottom of this page can
be considered valid. Thaw food completely before cooking.

POSITION OF THE APPLIANCE
The cook tops of the appliance can be placed in 3 di󰀨erent ways:
1. Cooking with the plates in contact with food
(for llets, sh llet, etc.)
1. Open the appliance
2. Place the pieces of food on the bottom plate.
3. Close the upper cover (1) so that it touch the food.
2. Cooking very thick pieces of food
(for sh, thick steaks, lled rolls of bread, etc.)

plugs are in their seats

CLEANING
• Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the mains and wait for it to
cool completely.
• Use a damp cloth to clean the covers (1 and 2). Avoid using abrasive cleaners
• To facilitate the cleaning of the plates and avoid damage, it is advisable to
leave the plates submerged for a few hours in hot water and detergent. Then
proceed with normal cleaning with a non-abrasive sponge
• The plates (3) can be removed and washed normally with hot water and deter-
gent. To remove debris from the plates (3), do not use abrasive tools or deter-
gents that may damage or scratch the special non-stick coating.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
