* Kişisel Koyucu Donanım (KKD)
* Dikey Yaşam Hattı sabit bir sistemdir, bu sistem dikey bir merdivene veya
benzer sistemler üzerine montajı yapılabilir. Dikey Yaşam hattı kılavuzlu tip
düşme öneleyiciye sahiptir.
* Dikey Yaşam Hattı merdiven vb. sistemlere çıkan kullanıcılara kılavuzlan-
mış tip düşme öneleyici (halat tutucu) ile sürekli emniyet noktası oluşturarak
yüksekten düşmeye karşı koruma sağlar.
* Bu sistem bir malzeme kaldırma sistemi olarak kullanılması uygun
değildir.
* Bu Sabit Dikey Yaşam Hattı 89/686/EEC direktifinde belirtilen EN 353-1:2014
normuna uygun olarak üretilmiş ve sertifikalındırılmıştır.
* Yasam hattı ve halat tutucu minimum -30° C de kullanılabilir.
2- Sorumluluk
* Bu ürünü kullanmadan önce kullanım kılavuzunı okuyup anladığınızdan
emin olunuz. Kullanım amacına yönelik özel eğitim alınmalıdır.
* Yüksekte çalışma; ciddi yaralanmalara ve hatta ölümlere yol açabilecek
tehlikeli aktivitelerdendir. Uygun kullanım tekniklerini ve güvenlik yön-
temlerini öğrenmek ve pratikte uygulamak kullanıcının sorumluluğu al-
tındadır. Bu Sabit Dkey Yaşam Hattı yalnızca bu konuda eğitim almış uz-
man personel tarafından veya bu personelin gözetiminde kullanılmalıdır.
Yanlış kullanım ya da uygun olmayacak şekilde kullanılması halinde ciddi
yaralanmalara ve ölümcül kazalara neden olabilir.Bu kullanım kılavuzu bir
eğitim programı yerine geçmez.
* Düşüş durdurma ekipmanı olarak sadece EN 361 standartlı Tam Korumalı
Vucut kemeri kullanılmalıdır.
* Dikey Yaşam Hattı tasarım amacı dışında kullanılmamalıdır. Bu donanım
tek başına yüksekte çalışmak için uygun değildir, bu donanımla ile bera-
ber CE sertifikalı göğüste düşüş durdurma bağlantı noktasına sahip Düşüş
Durdurma kemeri (tam korumalı) (EN 361, EN 358, EN 813) ile beraber
kullanılmalıdır. Dikey Yaşam hattından çıktıktan sonra yüksekten düşmeye
karşı Şok Emicili Lanyard (EN 355), kancalar (EN 362), v.b. ekipmanlar ile
beraber kullanılması zorunludur.
3. Ürün Montajı
* Dikey Yaşam Hattı montajı (DYH) Yüksekte Çalışma Eğitim sertifikalı ve
KAYA tarafından kurulum eğitimi alarak yetkilendirilmiş kişiler tarafından
yapılmalıdır. Sistemin bütünün sorumluluğu kurulumu gerçekleştiren firmaya
aittir.
* Sadece 15° yan açılar ile test edilmiş ve onaylanmıştır.
* Dikey yaşam hattı kullanımında olası bir düşüş durumunda yapıya ge-
lecek kuvvet kullanıcının düşüş yönünde ve yapının üst ankraj noktasına
olacaktır, ortaya çıkan maksimum kuvvet 10 kN dur.
* Ürün montajı için Dikey Yaşam Hattı Montaj Kılavuzuna Bakınız.
4- Ürün Kullanımı (EN 353-1:2014 )
* Dikey Yaşam hattı sadece 1 kişinin kullanımı içindir.
* Bu sistemin çevresel tehlikelerin bulunduğu alanlarda kullanılması söz
konusu ise kullanıcının yaralanma veya ekipmanın zarar görmesini önleyici ek
önlemler alması gerekmektedir. Çevresel tehlikeler arasında kaynak
veya metal kesmenin neden olduğu yüksek ısı, deniz suyu, yüksek gerilim
hatları, patlayıcı veya zehirli gazlar, yakıcı kimyasallar, hareketli makineler
ve keskin kenarlar yaralır.
* Kullanıcının ağırlığı kıyafetleri ve ekipmanlar hariç minimum 50 kg ol-
malıdır.
* Kullanıcının ağırlığı kıyafetleri ve ekipmanlar dahil maksimum 150 kg
olmalıdır.
* Dikey Yaşam hattında RA-50 şok emicinin kullanılabilr olduğundan emin
olunmaldır.
FA-50 Şok Emici bir yüke maruz kalmış ise şok emici içerisindeki indikatör
(pim üzerinde kırmızı uyarı rengi) görüldüğünde dikey yaşam hattı kul-
lanılmamalıdır.
4.1 Kılavuzlanmış tipte düşüş durdurucunun (Halat tucu) kemere takılması.
* Dikey Yaşam hattında çalışırken kılavuzlanmış tipte bir düşüş durdurucu
F-5 Halat tutucu Halat Tutucu kullanılmalıdır.
* F-5 halat tutucular üzerlerinde bulunan K-2/3ACP tip karabina ile tam
korumalı düşüş durduma kemeri (EN 361) göğüs hizası üzerinde A ile
işaretlenmiş düşüş durdurma bağlantı noktasına takılarak kullanılmalıdır.
* Düşüş Durdurma kemeriniz bedeninize göre ayarlanmalı, kemer gevşek
olmamalıdır.
* Düşüş Durdurma kemeriniz kullanım sırasında gevşemesi durumunda
(bedeninize göre bollaşır ise) uygun bir konumda kemerinizi bedenize göre
ayarlamanız gerekir.
* Halat tutucu herhangi bir malzeme ile uzatılamaz veya kısaltılamaz,
halat tutucu ile sadece üzerindeki orjinal karabiları ile kullanılmalıdır.

4.2 Halat Tutucunun Sisteme Takılıp Çıkartılması
* K-2020 Dikey yaşam hattı üzerinde şok emici vardır ve bu moldelde F-5
model halat tutucu kullanılmalıdır.
* F-5 Halat tutucuyu Şekil-1 de gösterildiği gibi hat üstüne takılmalı ve
çıkarılmalıdır.
* Halat tutucununuz kişiye özeldir, kullandıktan sonra hat üzerinde
çıkarınız. Halat tutucu hat üzerinde bırakıldığında çevrede bulunan kir, toz
v.b. malzemeleri üzerine topladığında hat üzerinde kolay çalışmayabilir.
4.3 Halat Tutucu ile Çılış ve İniş
* Halat tutucuyu yukarı tırmanıken her zaman göğüs hizasının altında ol-
malıdır. Tırmanma sırasında kullanıcının rahatlığı için tırmanırken iki el bir
ayak veya bir el iki ayak prensibi ile tırmanılmalıdır.
* Halat tutucu ile aşağıya inerken normal merdivenden sabit iniş hızınız ile
ininiz. Halat tutucu hat üzerinde klitli olduğunda halat tutucuyu elinizle
aşağı doğru hafifçe ittirdikten sonra inişinize devam edebilirsiniz.
4.4 Güvenli Açık Düşüş Yüksekliği
* Kullanıcının çalışma anında ayaklarının zeminle veya düşüş sırasında
çarpma riski bulunan yüzeylerle arasındaki yükseklik minimum 2 metre
olmalıdır (Şekil-2). Her kullanımdan önce kullanıcının altındaki güvenli
açık düşüş yüksekliğinin bulunduğundan emin olunuz, bu şekilde bir düşüş
sonrası bir zemine veya farklı bir engele çarpmamış olursunuz.
* Kullanıcı sisteme çıkarken veya inerken ilk 2 metre bir zemine çarpma-
mak veya bir düşüş tehlikesine karşı çok dikkatli olmalıdır.
4.5 Hat Üzerinde Belirli Mesafede Dinlenme
* Halat tutucu konumlandırma amaçlı kullanılmamalıdır. Eğer hat üze-
rinde konumlandırma yapmak veya dinlenmek gerekiyor ise uygun ekip-
man kullanılmalıdır. ( Örnek: WPL Konumlandırma Lanyardı)
* Hatta bağlanırken veya çıkarken güvenli ortamda bulunulmalı ve ayrı bir
kişisel koruyucu donanım ile uygun emniyetin alınmalıdır.
* Olası bir kurtarma çalışmasında askıda kalan personeli kurtarmak için
hatta ikinci bir personel girebilir ve kurtarma çalışmasını yapabilir.
5. EN 365 Standardına ilişkin genel bilgilendirme
5.1 Kurtarma Planı
Kullanıcın ürünü kullanım sırasında her hangi bir zorluk ile karşılaşılması
bu durumdan çok hızlı bir şekilde kurtulunması için bir kurtarma planının
hazırlanmış olması zorunludur.
5.2 Ankraj noktası:
Kullanılan sitemdeki ankraj noktası mutlaka kullanıcı konumunun üze-
rinde olması gerekmektedir ve bu nokta EN 795 standardına uygun ol-
malıdır. EN 795 standardına göre ankraj noktası minimum 12 kN mukave-
metinde olmalıdır.
5.3 Çeşitli Durumlar
* Bir düşüş durdurucu sadece bir düşüş de bedenin düşüşte korunmasını
sağlamak amacı ile kullanılmalıdır.
* Bir Düşüş Durdurma sisteminde, her kullanımdan önce bir düşüş durumda
kullanıcının zemine veya başka bir yüzeye çarpmasını engellemek için

veya metal kesmenin neden olduğu yüksek ısı, deniz suyu, yüksek gerilim
hatları, patlayıcı veya zehirli gazlar, yakıcı kimyasallar, hareketli makineler
ve keskin kenarlar yaralır.
* Kullanıcının ağırlığı kıyafetleri ve ekipmanlar hariç minimum 50 kg ol-
malıdır.
* Kullanıcının ağırlığı kıyafetleri ve ekipmanlar dahil maksimum 150 kg
olmalıdır.
* Dikey Yaşam hattında RA-50 şok emicinin kullanılabilr olduğundan emin
olunmaldır.
FA-50 Şok Emici bir yüke maruz kalmış ise şok emici içerisindeki indikatör
(pim üzerinde kırmızı uyarı rengi) görüldüğünde dikey yaşam hattı kul-
lanılmamalıdır.

* Kullanıcı tıbben olarak yüksekte çalışmaya uygun olmalıdırlar. Emniyet
kemerinin ölümcül kazalara neden olabileceğine dair uyarılmalıdırlar.
6 Ürün Kontrolü ve Doğrulama
6.1 Her kullanımdan Önce:
Yüksekte çalışma ürünleri kişiye özel olarak kullanılmalıdır. Bu ürünler her
kullanımdan önce ve sonra düzenli bir şekilde kontrol edilmeli ve tespit
edilen bilgiler ürün kontrol defterine kayıt edilmelidir. Ürünü aşağıdaki
kontrol kriterlerine göre kontrol ediniz.
* Sistem bileşenleri üzerinde her hangi bir deformasyon olup olmadığı,
sistemde kırılma veya kabloda bükülme veya hasar belirtileri olup ol-
madığı,
* Sistem bileşenleri üzerinde korozyon olup olmadığı,
* Sistem bileşenler üzerine herhangi bir kimyasal etki edip etmediği,
* Ürün etiketinin sistem üzerinde takılı olduğundan ve sistemi kullanıma
uygun olmadığı kontrol edilmedilir.
6.2 Her kullanım sırasında:
Ürünün her kullanımında eğer ürün bir siste ile beraber kullanılacak ise,
tüm sistemin birbiri ile uyumlu olmalıdır. Sistem içindeki tüm ekipman-
ların bir diğer ekipmana göre doğru konumlandığından emin olunuz.
7.Kaya Genel Bilgilendirme
7.1 Ürün Ömrü:
* Metal malzemelerin teorik kullanım ömrü bulunmamaktadır. Ürün yıl-
da en az 1 kere periyodik kontrolleri yaptırılarak ürünün kullanımına uy-
gun olup olmadığı belgelenmelidir. Yıllık periyodik kontrolü yapılmamış
ürünün kullanımından KAYA sorumlu değildir.
* Dikey Yaşam hattı paslanmaz çelik malzemeden imal edilmiştir. Parça
malzeme özellikleri malzeme özelliklerine bakınız.
* 316 Kalite paslamazçelik malzeme atmosferik korozyana karşı oldukça
dirençlidir. Ürünün kullanım yerine bağlı olarak değişen zamanlarda
(Endüstriyel sahalar; demir tozları ve kimyasallar, denize yakın sahalar;
havada asılı bulunan tuzlar gibi daha kısa sürelerde, Kırsal alanlarda;
daha uzun sürelerde ) ürün üzerinde yüzeysel pas lekeleri görülebilir.
Bu yüzeysel lekeler uygun bir bakım programı ile giderilebilir. Her şartta
ürünün kullanıma devamı yönünde karar; yıllık periyodik kontrollerinin
üretici veya onun yetkilendirdiği kişiler tarafından yapılması ve muayene
sonrasında uygunluk verilmesi neticesinde verilebilir.
Aşağıdaki durumlarda ürün üreticiye geri gönderilmeli veya imha
edilmelidir;
* Ürün bir düşüş yaşamış ve yüke maruz kalmışsa,
* Ürün üzerinde paslanma belirtileri gözlemlenmiş ise,
* Ürün bir kontrol sırasında kullanıma uygun bulunmadı ise ve sizin bun-
dan bir şüpheniz var ise,
* Ürün standardında, yasalarda, kullanım tekniğine uyumu ile ilgili bir
değişiklik ve benzeri durumlarda.
Uyarı:
FA-50 şok emicisi poliüretan malzemeden imal edilmiştir. Maksimum kul-
lanım ömrü 5 yıldır. Kurulumu 5 yılını dolduran yaşam hatların da ki Şok
Emicilerin üreticiden talep edilecek yenileri ile değiştirilmesi gerekmektedir.
* Ürün kendi özel çantasında ve kullanım kılavuzu ile birlikte, üzerinde
modeli, standardı yazılı olarak satışa sunulmuştur. Ürün kendi çantası
içinde kuru bir yerde, güneş ışığına doğrudan maruz kalamayacak şekilde
ve oda sıcaklığında saklanmalıdır.
7.2 Ürün Depolanması:
* Ürün temiz ve kuru bir yerde saklanmalıdır.
* Ürün ısı kaynaklarından uzak tutulmalıdır.
* Depolama alanında kimyasal buharlardan (asitler, solventler v.b.) ürüne
zarar verecek maddelerden uzak tutulmalıdır.
* Ürün uzun süre depolandıktan sonra detaylı bir şekilde kontrol edilmelidir.
7.3 Ürün Bakımı:
* Çelik malzemeden üretilmiş sabit dikey yaşam hattımız normalde her-
hangi bir bakım gerektirmez ancak ihtiyaç duyulduğunda yumuşak bir
fırça, ılık su ve pas sökücü ile yapılabilir.
7.4 Değişim ve Tamir
* KAYA dan önceden yazılı izin alınmadan ürün üzerinde herhangi bir
değiştirme, tamir veya ekleme yapılmamalıdır. Ürün üzerinde herhangi bir
tamir sadece üretici ( KAYA ) tarafından veya KAYA nın yetkilendirdiği yetkili
kişiler tarafından yapılabilir. Yapılan tüm tamir ve bakım çalışmaları
sadece üretici (KAYA ) nin vereceği talimatlar doğrultusunda yapılmalıdır.
Aksi takdirde oluşacak tehlikelerden KAYA sorumlu değildir.
* Ürünün kullanım, bakım ve tamirine ilişkin talimatlar istenildiği takdirde
o ülkede ki yetkili distributor firmadan ülkenin kendi dilinde temin edilebilir.

7.5 Ürünün Taşınması:
Ürün taşıma sırasında, nem ve kimyasallardan uzakta, keskin kenarlardan,
başka diğer cisimler ile temas etmeyecek şekilde taşınmalıdır.
7.6 Ürün Periyodik Kontrolü:
Ürününüzü her kullanımdan önce veya belirli periyotlarda mutlaka yıl-
da en az 1 defa üreticiden (KAYA) veya üreticinin yetkilendirdiği yetkin bir
personel tarafından kontrol ekontrol edilerek kullanıma uygunluğu onay-
lanmış olmalıdır. Bu kontrol tarihlerini uyarı plakası üzerine yazılmış ol-
malıdır.Ürün kontrolünden sonra aşağıdaki bilgilerin mutlaka kayıt altına
alınması tavsiye ederiz.- Ürün Tipi, Model, Üretici iletişim bilgileri, Seri Nu-
marası, Üretim Tarihi, Satınalım tarihi, İlk kullanım tarihi, Bir sonraki peri-
yodik kontrol tarihi, problemler, yorumlar, kontrolü yapan uzmanın isim ve

7.7 Garanti: Bu ürün her türlü malzeme ve üretim hatlarına karşı 3 yıl
garantilidir. Garanti süresi şu durumlarda geçerli değildir: Yanlış kullanım
alanları, kesilme, yırtılmalar, oksitlenme, ürünün tamir edilmesi veya üze-
rinde değişim yapılması, kazalarda oluşan ürün yıpranmaları.
8. Belgelendirme:
Bu ürün 89/686/EEC direktifi gereğince APAVE SUDEUROPE SAS CE 0082
no’lu onaylı kuruluş tarafından test edilerek EN 353-1:2014 normlarına uy-
gun olduğu tespit edilmiş ve sertifikalandırılmıştır.
* KAYA CE 0123 noylu onaylı kuruluş (TÜV SÜD Product Service) tarafın-
dan 89/686/EEC 11 B Kalite Güvence Sistem Sertifikasına sahiptir. Kalite
Güvence Sistem Sertifikası teste gönderilen ürün ile üretilen ürünün aynı

1- Area of Use
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Vertical Lifeline System is a permanent system and can be installed on a
vertical ladder or similar structures.
* Vertical Lifeline System provides users hands free fall protection on ladders
and other climbing tools by creating continuous access to suitable anchorage
points.
* This system is not designed for weight-lifting purpose.
* Vertical Lifeline System is manufactured and certified in accordance with
89/686/EEC directive and EN 353-1:2014 norm.
* Operating Temperature for Lifeline and rope Grab is minimum -30° C
2- Responsibility.
* Working at height is acknowledged as one of the most dangerous activities
that cause fatal accidents. Prior to use, the user must read and understand
the user guide and be properly trained by their employer prior to use.
Failure to follow all instructions and limitations on the use of the Vertical
Lifeline System may result in serious personal injury or death. The guide
should not be considered as any form of training.
* A full body harness is the only acceptable body holding device that can be
used in a fall arrest system.
* The guided type fall arrester (Rope Grabe) should be connected to a full
body harness conforming to EN 361equipped with a front fall arrest attachment
point, including a clear statement on the required position of the harness
attachment point.

3. Installation
Vertical Lifeline System must be installed by competent persons who
have working at height training certificate and have been trained & authorized by
KAYA for installation. KAYA will not be liable for any installation performed
by unauthorized person. Please refer to installation manual for installation
instructions.
* Tested only on sideways angle at 15°.
* A full body harness is the only acceptable body holding device that can be
used in a fall arrest system.
4- Product Usage (EN 353-1:2014
* Vertical Lifeline System is designed for use only one user.
* If the system is planned to be used in areas where the environmental
hazards are concerned users must take extra precautions to prevent himself
from possible injuries or to protect equipment from damage. Environmental
hazards can be listed as high temperature caused by welding or metal cutting,
sea water, high voltage power lines, explosive or toxic gases, caustic chemicals,
moving machinery, and sharp edges
* The minimum load must be at 50kg without material.
* The maximum load must be at 150kg with material.
* System should not be used by users who’s the total weight (including
clothing, tools, etc.) is less than 50 kg.
* Vertical lifeline have integrated energy absorber FA-50. Make sure that
RA-50 energy aborber has not experienced any shock and it is in working
condition. If the system experienced a fall red colour indicator on the energy
abosrber appears. In this case system must not be used untill RA-50 energy
absorber is replaced.
4.1 Connecting Rope Grab onto Full Bodu Harness
* A quided type F-5 Rope Grab (fall arrester) must be used when working
on the Vertical Lifeline.
* F-5 fall arrester must be used with orginal K-2 / 3ACP type carbine full
body harness should be connected to a full body harness conforming to
EN 361 equipped with a front fall arrest (A) attachment point, including
a clear statement on the required position of the harness attachment
point.
* Full body harnesses should be properly adjusted to fit the body before
each use.
* The full body harness should be properly adjusted to a snug fit and
should not beusedif loose.
* If the harness becomes loose during ascent or descent, it should be
correctly adjusted again from a secured position.
* The length of the connecting element shall not be extended or shortened,
e.g. by adding or subtracting a connector.
4.2 Installing Rope Grab
* K-2020 Vertical life line have shock absorber on the line and F-5 fall
arrester should be used in these type.
* F-5 fall arester as shown should be installed and removed on the line as
shown in Figure-1,
* The arrow on the rope grab must be pointed upward.
* Rope Grab is a personal equipment and so it needs to be removed from
the system after each use. If it is left on the system, it may not work properly
due to environmental sources such as dust, dirt, oil, chemicals etc.
4.3 Climbing with Rope Grab
* To ascend with a F-5 Rope grab climb up the ladder normally. The detachable
rope grab will follow the user.
* Use caution when climbing. Avoid carrying tools or equipment that do not
allow your hands to be free for climbing. Ensure items carried are secure to
avoid dropping on climbers below.
* Climb within your ability. Long climbs may require several rest stops
during ascent or descent to avoid exhaustion.
* Avoid climbing in high winds or severe weather whenever possible.
* To descend, climb down smoothly in a normal position.
* Allow the detachable rope grab to lead the user down.
* Climbing down out of position (leaning back excessively) will cause the
detachable rope grab to lock on the cable. If the detachable rope grab
locks, move upward slightly to release, then continue down the ladder.
* When climbing is completed and the user is in a safe location remove the
carabiner from rope grab and remove the rope grab from the cable.
4.4 Fall Clearance
* For equipment intended for use in fall arrest systems, it is essential for
safety to verify the free space required beneath the user at the workplace
before each occasion of use, so that, in the case of a fall, there will be no
collision with the ground or the other obstacle in the fall path.
* A minimum fall clearance of 2 meter is required between the user’s feet
and surface below. The user may not be protected against hitting the
ground or landing during the first 2 meter of ascent or 2 meter of descent.
(Figure-2).
* Use proper climbing procedures (e.g., maintain 3 points of contact with
hands and feet) when ascending or descending any portion of the ladder
unprotected by the system.
4.5 Work Positioning
* Rope Grab should not be used as work positioning purpose.
* If the work positioning is required on the system, additional relevant
equipment needs to be used such as WPL Work Positioning Lanyard.
* There are hazards associated with connecting and disconnecting from
the system. Use secondary fall arrest protection. Ensure adequate anchor
points, landing platforms, or other means are available at connection and
disconnection points to allow safe transitions to and from the system.
* Identify hazards in the work area that could cause injury to the user or
damage to the system, such as: high heat, electrical hazards, chemical hazards,
falling objects, or moving machinery.
5 General information on the EN 365 standard
5.2.1 Rescue Plan
The user (employer) must have a rescue plan in place and the ability to
implement the plan and to communicate that plan to users, authorized
persons, and rescuers in the event of a fall.
5.2. 2 Anchorage Point
Anchorages to which personal fall arrest equipment is attached should
always be placed above the position of the user and shall be capable of
supporting 12 kN (EN 795) per employee attached.
5.2. 3 General Warnings
* Compatibility of different fall protection equipment must be considered as
it can result in a dangerous situation.
* A verticcal life line and fall arrester is intended for use as a component in
a personal fall arrest system.
* There must be sufficient clearance below the user to arrest a fall before
the user strikes the ground or other obstruction.
* The user must be in good health in order to use the equipment.
*For equipment intended for use in fall arrest systems, a warning to emphasise
that it is essential for safety to verify the free space required beneath the
user at the workplace before each occasion of use, so that, in the case of a
fall, there will be no collision with the ground or the other obstacle in the
fall path.
6. Control and Validation
6.1 Before each use:
All components of the Vertical Lifeline shall be inspected by the authorized
person or rescuer prior to each use. Additionally, annual inspections shall
be conducted by a factory authorized “competent person” other than the
user. Findings should be recorded in the “Inspection and Maintenance Log”
.Inspection must be performed based on following criterias;.
* All markings must be legible and attached to the product.
* All equipment must be free of corrosion, chemical attack, alteration, ex-
cessive heating or wear.
*All hardware shall be free of cracks, sharp edges, deformation, corrosion,
or any evidence of defect or damage to.

other signs of wear and damage.

6.2 During each use:
During performing the work at height if the equipment is connected with
another system, make sure that all pieces of equipment in the system are
correctly positioned with respect to each other.
7. General Information
7.1 Product Life:
* There is no theoretical lifetime of metallic materials. Products must be
inspected and documented on a regular basis to determine if the product is
safe to use. KAYA is not responsible for the use of the product that doesn’t
have a record of annualperiodic control.
* Vertical Lifeline System is made of galvanized steel and stainless steel.

* Stainless steel is highly resistant to atmospheric corrosion. Depending
on the area of the use superficial rust spots can be seen on the product (In
a short time of a period industrial sites; iron powders and welding pieces.)

of the useI in all circumstances decision to continue to use the product can
only be made if annual periodic control has been performed and resulted
positive by manufacturer or acompetent person authorized by manufacturer.
If the product has one of the deviations below it should be withdrawn from
service immediately and should be destroyed to prevent further usage.
* It has suffered a heavy shock load or has had a load dropped onto it.
* If observed signs of corrosion on the product* if product was recorded
not suitable for use during a control and if you have any doubt about that.
* Changes in standards, legislation and changes related to technical use of
it, and similar cases.
Warning: RA-50 Energy Absorber is made of polyurethane. The maximum
lifespan of these is five years. After 5 years from the installation, RA-50 on
the system must be replaced with a new one that is to be requested from
the manufacturer.
7.2 Storage:
Product comes with its own special case and user manual where the model
number and applicable standard is written. Product should be stored in its
own bag in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and at room temperature.
Do not store in areas where damage from environmental factors such as
heat, light, excessive moisture, oil, chemicals and their vapors, or other
degrading elements may be present.
7.3 Maintenance:
Taking good care of the product after each use extends the life of it. Use

7.4 Changes and repair
Changing a part, repair and addition to any component of the system is
strictly forbidden without written authorization of KAYA. Any repairs on
products can only be done by manufacturer or qualified persons authorized
by the manufacturer. All repair and maintenance work must only be
performed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions KAYA won’t be
responsible for repairs performed by for unauthorized persons. Manufacturer’s
instructions for repair and maintenance can be obtained from authorized
distributor in the official language of the country in which the item is in

7.5 Transportation of product:
The product should be transported in a bag to keep it away from moisture,
chemicals and sharp edges as well as to protect it getting in contact with
another objects.
7.6 Periodical inspection of product:
Product must be inspected at least one time in a year by manufacturer or a
competent person authorized by manufacturer.The maintanence dates can
be seen on the warning plate.During the inspection of product following
information should be recorded;Type of the product, model, contact information
of producer, serial number, date of production, date of purchase, date of
first use, next inspection date, problems, recommendations, name and surname

7.7 Guarantee: This product has 3-year guarantee against all material or
manufacturing defects under proper usage and storage conditions. Guarantee
is no more valid if; product is used wrong, tears, cut, corrosion, unauthorised
repair of changes on the product, damages caused by accidents.
8. Certification:
This product is certified in accordance with 89/686/EEC directive by APAVE
SUDEUROPE SAS CE0082 notified Body after tests according to EN 353-1:2014
norms.
