1. General information
1.1 About these instructions
This manual is intended for use by
• qualified, trained and authorized service techni-
cians.
Any person handling, mounting or servicing this tan-
ning device must have read and understood these
instruction.
Keep this manual ready to hand at all times.
1.2 Safety signs
This symbol indicates that general haz-
ards exist for the human health.
This symbol indicates that due to elec-
trical tensions hazards exist to the
human health.
This symbol indicates that due to fall-
ing loads hazards exist to the human
health.
This symbol indicates the danger of
pinching.
When assembling heavy components,
you can pinch your fingers or hands.
This symbol indicates the danger of
burns from hot lamps and housing
parts.
If the tanning device was operated
before being opened, lamps and hous-
ing parts may be hot.
This symbol indicates that damages
may occur at the tanning device, at the
material or at the environment.
Danger due to leakages.
The tanning device can be damaged by
leaking connections.
• Slide the plastic tube up to the stop into the
quick connector socket.

1.4 Transport
WARNING
Overturning load
Danger of being crushed by heavy parts
of the equipment.
• Keep the safety distance to the trans-
port machine.
• Do not walk under the load.
• Wear safety shoes.
1.4.1 TRANSPORT BY FORKLIFT TRUCK
During transport the tanning device may
be damaged when using forklift forks that
are too short.
• Use only sufficiently long forks.
The box with the tanning device components is
mounted on a pallet.
• Insert the forks carefully into the openings of the
pallet.
• Lift the load by a few centimeters.
• Transport the load carefully to the place of
installation.
1.4.2 OTHER MODES OF TRANSPORT
If a forklift truck cannot be used for transport, the
box must be unpacked and the parts inside must be
transported individually to the place of installation,
e.g. using a dolly. Depending on the weight of the
components, lifting them might require several
people.

2. Safety notes
2.1 General safety notes
• Follow all instructions given in this manual and all
other documents enclosed with the tanning device.
In addition, observe all relevant statutory provi-
sions and regulations, also those applicable in the
country of operation.
• The tanning device must only be installed and
assembled by qualified, trained and authorized
service technician.
• Arbitrary modifications or conversions of the tan-
ning device are not permissible.
• Observe all danger signs and safety notices
attached to the tanning device.
• Safety notices must not be removed, and safety
equipment must not be disabled or removed.
• The tanning device must only be operated when in
perfect working condition.
• Never operate the tanning device with the outer
covers or acrylic panes removed.
• This tanning device must be operated with an
external timer that is listed in compliance with UL
917.
• Before carrying out any work, the tanning device
must be disconnected from the mains voltage.
DANGER
Live parts
Danger of life or fatal injury due to electric
shock when touching live parts.
• Switch neutral
• Secure against reconnection
• Check for neutrality
• Ground and short-circuit
• Cover or shield any adjacent live parts or
components
CAUTION
Hot surfaces
Danger of burns from hot lamps and
housing parts. If the tanning device was
operated before being opened, lamps
and housing parts may be hot.
• Wait until the tanning device has
cooled down.

3. Installation site and dimensions
In dry rooms (booths) with sufficient airing.
• Even floor with sufficient load capacity
• Relative humidity: ≤ 70 %
• Room temperature ≤ 30 0C (86 0F)
• Minimal room height 2270 mm (≈89,37 inches)
• Only on a non-combustible basement

4.1 Tools and aids
• Assembly of the tanning device has to be done
with two persons.
• Combination spanner: SW 13, 17
• Suction cup
• Phillips screwdriver
• Set of Allen keys
• Set of socket spanners
• Potentially ladder
4.2 Option: Alteration exhaust
air outlet
Factory-made, the exhaust air outlet is on the upper
side. If the exhaust air is to be let out on the lower
side, the exhaust air grid has to be exchanged with
the exhaust air cover and the fan accordingly.
4.3 Option: Alteration for
central exhaust air
If the tanning device has to be connected to the
central exhaust air, the exhaust air grid has to be
exchanged with the exhaust air socket.
4.4 Assembling the tanning
device
The line of sight used in the text is from the door side
to the back side.
• Lay down the baseplate and the associated pad
for its entrance area. The baseplate has pits
for the feet of the back plane and side plates.

• Place the back plane into the corresponding pits. Fix one angle at the right and one angle at the left side of
the back plane. Fix the box with the fan. Observe the minimum and maximum height when adjusting.

• Place the side plates into the pids and adjust side plates with the back plane (even and flush). Fix the side
plates according to the picture. Adjust with level.

• On both sides, lead the cable harness from the back plane through the sickel shaped metal to the side plate.
Fix it in the lace.

• Push the door between the upper and lower crescent of the left side part. The door is attached with the bushing
located on the wire harness ① ②. Here, ensure that the bushing is installed with flat side positioned as in the
illustration and attached with 2 M5 x 6 mm slotted screws ②. Then, place the wire harness in the gap ③. With
the included bushing, attach the door to the lower crescent ④ ⑤. Here, ensure once again that the flat side is
positioned as in the photo ⑤. Attach this bushing with 2 M5 x 6 mm slotted screws as well.

• Measure the distance between top edge of the side plate and top edge of the door. The space should be max.
10 mm at the left and the right side.

• If the height difference is outside the range, the alignment of the lateral parts towards each other must be
checked (page 9). If the limit is not observed in spite of a correct alignment of the parts, the alignment is done
by adapting the front feet of the tanning device instead. Please note that their minimum height is 48 mm, the
maximum height is 60 mm.

• Place the ceiling part on top of the tanning device and fix it according to the picture. When tightening the screws
one person lifts the door up slightly while the second person fastens the top of the tanning device. Don‘t jam the
cable harnesses.

• At the right side, pull the following cables and hoses out of the ceiling part: five hoses (2x aroma, 2x aquaCool,
1x air for aquaCool), Harness with molex connector (music), one cable with jack plug (line in), one cable with
RJ22 plug (display), Harness with connectors X7 and X4/X2.
• Connect: 2x aroma
