Readtheseinstructionscarefullybeforeassemblingtheproductorusingitforthefirsttime.They
containimportantinformationforyoursafetyandforthecorrectuseandmaintenanceofthis
product.Keeptheinstructionsinasafeplaceforinformationorfororderingspareparts.

properlyfittedhelmetthatcomplieswithConsumerProductSafetyCommission(CPSC)

■Thisproductisatoyandisnotsuitableforuseintrafficoronpublicroads.
■Alwayskeepawatchfuleyeonyourchildinordertoavoidrisksbythoughtlessandhastymove‐

■Thisproductissuitableforchildrenbetween18months‐4yearsandlessthan50lbs.Excessive
weightmaycauseahazardousorunstablecondition.

■Incaseofasuddenand/orstrongturnofthehandlebarthetricyclecouldbecausedtotip.

■Thetricyclemustnotbeconnectedwithothervehicles,sportsorsimilardevicesandnotbe
driven/pulledbythem.Neversubjectyourchildonthetricycletospeedsexceedingwalking
pace!
■Damagedcomponentsmayendangerthesafetyofyourchildorshortenthelifespanofthepro‐
duct.Inspectitatregularintervalstoensurethatnoneofthecomponentsaredamagedand
thatnoneoftheboltsorotherjointshaveworkedloose.
■Replacewornordamagedpartsimmediatelyandensurethattheproductisnotusedagainuntil

thishasbeendone.Ifanypartsrequirereplacement,useonlyoriginalsparesmanufactured
byKETTLER®.
UseoftheToy
■Ensurethatthetricycleisnotuseduntilithasbeenproperlyassembledandcheckedbyan
adultperson.
■Incaseoftricycleswithoutafree‐wheelconsiderthefactthatthepedalswillrotateevenwhen
thetricycleispushed.
■Donottransportanyobjectsonthetricycle.
■Alwaysadjusttheuseofthetricycletotheconditionsencountered.
■Tricyclesdonotpossessacontinuouslyeffectivebrakesystem.Therefore,safeguardthetricycle
againstrollingawaywhenparkingit.Neverparkthetricycleunattendedwithachildonit!
■Neverdrawthetricyclebehindyouaslongasachildisseatedonit.
■Instructyourchildhowtousethevehiclecorrectlyanddrawattentiontopossiblesourcesof
danger.
■Althoughdangeroussituationsareunlikelytooccuriftheproductisusedcorrectly,childrenatplay
should,ifpossible,besupervised.
■Pleasebearinmindthatthereisalwaysadangerofchildreninjuringthemselveswhileusing
swings,climbingframes,toyvehiclesorsimilarequipment.
■Whenchildrenareatplay,situationsmayarisewhichcannotbepredictedbythemanufacturer
andforwhichhecannotbeheldresponsible.
■Beforeuse,alwayscheckallscrewsandplug‐inconnectionsaswellasrespectivesafetydevices
fitcorrectly.
■Neverusecorrosiveorabrasivesubstancestocleanthetricycle.Neverusesubstanceswhichmay
causepollutionoftheenvironment.
■Formodelswithpushbars:Alwaysensurethatthepushbarfitscorrectlyintheadaptor,and
locks.Donothanganyweightsonthebar!Thevehiclemaytipover,andyourchildmaybehurt.
Thepushbarisintendedforadultuseonly,donotpassresponsibilityforchildrenontoother
children.Forfreeplaytimetakethepushbaroffforsafetyreasons.
■Formodelswithpneumatictires:Duetothenatureofmaterialsusedinpneumatictires,itisnot
recommendedfortheproducttobeleftinanyoneplacefortoolongwheresolventsorother
chemicals,i.e.oil,maylie.Thismayresultinachemicalreaction,whichcouldcausethetiresto
markthesurfacesuchasavinylflooring.Ifindoubtputsomethingunderneaththewheelsto
coverthefloor.Ensurethatairpressureinthetiresiscorrect;ifairpressureistoolowthis
increaseswear,andmakesridingthetricyclemoredifficult!
■Lubricatethebearingsleevesofthewheelsandthehandlebarswithafewdropsofoileverytwo
orthreemonths.
Assemblyofthetoyvehicle
■Pleaseensurethatthevehiclewillonlybeusedforplayingwhenassemblyhasbeencarriedout
correctly,andchecked,byanadult.
■Thetricyclemustbeassembledcarefullybyanadultperson.Studytheassemblyinstructions
carefullybeforebeginningwork.Assemblethevehicleintheexactsequenceshownbythe
lettersinthediagrams.Thisisessentialforthesafefunctionanduseofthetricycle.

■Pleasenotethatthereisalwaysadangerofinjurywhenworkingwithtoolsordoingmanual
work.Thereforepleasebecarefulwhenassemblingthisproduct.
■Ensurethatyourworkingareaisfreeofpossiblesourcesofdanger,forexampledon’tleaveany
toolslyingaround.Alwaysdisposepackagingmaterialinsuchawaythatitmaynotcauseany
danger.Thereisalwaysariskofsuffocationifchildrenplaywithplasticbags!
■Boltallthepartstogetherlooselyatfirst,andcheckthattheyhavebeenassembledcorrectly.
Tightenthelocknutsbyhanduntilresistanceisfelt,thenusewrenchtofinallytightennuts
completelyagainstresistance(lockingdevice).Thencheckthatallscrewconnectionshavebeen
tightenedfirmly.Attention:oncelocknutshavebeenunscrewedtheynolongerfunction
correctly(thelockingdeviceisdestroyed),andmustbereplaced.
■Whenassemblingplasticgrips:Thegripscanbepushedontothehandlebarsmoreeasilyifthey
arefirstsoakedinwarmwater.
■Pleasekeeporiginalpackagingofthisarticle,sothatitmaybeusedfortransportatalaterdate,
ifnecessary.
■Fortechnicalreasons,wereservetherighttocarryoutpreliminaryassemblywork(e.g.addition
oftubingplugs).

customer.ThisKETTLER®LimitedWarrantyisamanufacturer’swarrantyandisnotchangedor
modifiedbyadditionalwarrantiesextendedbyindividualretailersatthepointofsale.
Manufacturerwarrantsthisproducttobefreefromdefectsinmaterialatthetimeofthe
product’stenderofdeliveryforaperiodof90daysforresidentialuse.ThisLimitedWarrantyisnot
