Your light should be positioned above the
plant canopy at a distance that creates your
ideal coverage area. The further away from
the canopy the light is positioned, the bigger
the coverage area. However, this will also
lessen the light's intensity.
Initially the light needs to be 48“ above the
canopy for a 3-7 day acclimation period. After
this the recommended height is 30”-36” above
the canopy. While all plants are different, we
suggest keeping minimum distance of 24”
between light and canopy.

AUTO RUN MODE

Your Kind LED grow light comes equipped with a preconfigured 8
stage timing cycle. This cycle offers 18 hours of light at an intensity
of 20% or greater. It is configured to generally satisfy the vegetative
requirements of most plant species. If the specific needs of your
particular plants do not match that of Auto Run Mode, you should
instead follow the Timer Mode instructions to configure your own
ideal daily timed cycle.

NOTE: If you press the “MODE” button in the middle of the auto run cycle (for
example during the dark cycle after 10am / 1000hrs) you will have to wait
until the next scheduled time setting (4pm / 1600hrs) for your light to adjust
automatically. If you do not want to wait for your next scheduled timer, exit
auto run by pressing “MODE,” manually adjust your light to reflect the desired
intensity (for example set all spectrum intensities to 0/0/0) and put your light
back into auto run by pressing”MODE.” This will ensure your light stays in the
dark cycle until the first timer starts at 4pm / 1600hrs. This will kick start your
light into the auto run mode, and it will run its cycle from here on out.

AUTO RUN TIME & INTENSITY SCHEDULE

SPECTRUM TUNING
This section will help you in the process of evaluating which
spectrums will be best suited for each stage of plant growth.
Note: All spectrums mentioned wil be in an A/B/C channel
configuration. So a 20/80/80 would be 20% Red (Channel A),
80% Blue (Channel B), and 80% White (Channel C).
Seedlings - Due to the tender nature of seedlings, you will want to tune
your light down quite a bit for this stage of life. Once a seed has broken
the surface, we recommend a break-in period of about a week where the
light will be in the range of 15/30/30. Once the seedling has been above
ground for about a week, the first set of true leaves should be present. At
this point the intensity of the spectrum can be marginally increased. We
suggest a 30/60/60 at this point. Once your plant has two or more true
sets of leaves, you can set your light to the Vegetative spectrum below.
Clones - Clones are a little bit hardier than fresh seedlings, but still need
to be given gentle light as they are completely root-less when first cut, and
need to conserve energy and moisture to transition into a rooting stage.
We have had great success with rooting clones at 25/45/45.
Vegetative - In this stage, the deeper red spectrums are utilized less by
the plant than when it is in flower and uses high levels of blue light that are
essential for creating lush, thick plants that have tight internodal spacing
and very little stretching. This is the same spectrum that will be used for
plants that you don’t want to flower, such as leafy greens, basil, and
mircogreens. For this stage, we recommend using a 30/60/60, 45/80/80,
or 60/100/100 depending on the type of plant and its light use
requirements.
Flowering - At this stage, the plant has a lot of work to do and is
preforming many complex biological processes in producing flowers
and/or fruits. Because of this, the plant now requires large amounts of light
in all categories. For high use plants, we like to run full power with a
100/100/100. For lower light use plants, dialing back all spectrums equally
can achieve the proper amount of light while maintaining proper spectrum.
Late Flower - In this stage most rapid development has stopped and the
plant is gearing up for the stage in which the large flowers and fruits will
mature or ripen. During this stage, the blues can be dialed back to a
100/70/100 in order to mimic those late days of summer and conserve a
little extra power in the process.

What Is Covered
Kind LED Grow Lights products are warranted against defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of three (3) years
from the original date of purchase. During the warranty period, Kind LED will either repair or replace any covered, defective
product. Within the first 90 days, Kind LED will incur all costs associated with the repair, or replacement, and return of the
defective product. After 90 days, the customer will assume responsibility of shipping the defective product back to Kind LED for
the remainder of the warranty period. Kind LED will, in turn, assume responsibility for up to $50.00 per light of the shipping fees
associated with returning the repaired or replaced product back to the purchaser. Return shipping fees in excess of $50.00 will
be the responsibility of the purchaser.
What is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification,
improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, neglect, exposure to excess moisture, fire, improper packing and
shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), lightning, power surges, or other acts of nature. This warranty does not
cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from the installation or removal of this product from any installation, any
unauthorized tampering with this product, any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by Kind LED to make such repairs, or
any other cause which does not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of this product.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
In order to enforce the rights under this warranty, the purchaser must notify Kind LED of a warranty claim by contacting a Kind
LED representative at [phone] or [email protected]. At this time, the purchaser will be called upon to provide
proof of purchase and the unique lot number located on the silver sticker on top of the housing. The Kind LED representative will
either attempt to assist in troubleshooting, request photos showing defect, or issue a Return Authorization Number and provide
more detailed return instructions. Upon receipt and review of the defective product, Kind LED will repair or replace, and return
within five (5) business days.

How to Obtain Refund Service

Returns

Damage Claim Policy & Procedure
Currently damages to Kind LED Grow Lights shipments occur less than .05% of the time. In the unfortunate event that damages
do occur, the following procedure and timeline must be followed in order to ensure the expeditious delivery of a replacement
system and a claim being filed with the damaging carrier.
1. When customer receives their KINDLED Grow Light, the external packaging must be inspected for any rips, tears,
punctures, abrasions, creases, or any marks that may indicate damage on the interior.
2. Customer will then inspect contents alongside the delivering driver.
3. Significant damages should be refused by customer and signed off on by driver.
4. Damages not noticed and seen with driver present may still be claimed as concealed damages.
5. A KIND LED representative MUST BE NOTIFIED OF THE DAMAGES (refused or concealed) WITHIN 48 HOURS IN
ORDER TO SUCCESSFULLY BEGIN A CLAIM WITH THE SHIPPING COMPANY. Customers exceeding this time frame
may be penalized with a delay and/or forfeiture of a replacement, and or financial penalties.
6. The assigned Kind LED representative will require pictures and a description of the damages.
7. Once the required pictures and description are received, a pick-up of the damaged product, and the shipment of a
replacement product, will be scheduled.
8. Provided that all of the above requirements are met, Kind LED will make every effort to send a replacement system within
72 hours. However, extenuating circumstances may prevent 100% adherence to this policy.
