CONGRATULATIONS ON PURCHASING THE MOST ADVANCED LED GROW LIGHT IN THE
INDUSTRY, THE KIND LED X2. This guide will show you how to setup and use your X2LED fixture.
Please review the entire manual prior to operation.

COMPONENTS

SET UP
1Remove contents from the light box and the driver box. Be careful to set
the light down on a flat surface, as not to directly touch any diodes.
Match up the two holes on the driver with the two holes on the light. Using
a Phillips screwdriver, attach the driver to the light with the two bolts.
Fasten tightly until driver is secure. Do not use power tools.

4Attach the provided wire hangers to the eyelets on the top of the
X2. If using ratchet hangers (not included), attach them to the
center of the wire hangers. Once connected, raise the light to the
desired position.
3Once the driver is mounted, plug in the cable extending from the X2
fixture to the driver.
CAUTION: The LED boards have a conformal coating to
resist moisture, but are vulnerable to diode damage if
handled improperly. Please make sure LED surfaces are
protected from abrasion while handling.
NOTE: Your Kind LED X2comes with a 5 ft., 120v standard
power cord. For alternative power cord recommendations
please contact a Kind LED Grow Lights customer service
representative to assist in your selection.

BEST PRACTICES
ENVIRONMENT
When using the Kind LED X2, ideal grow room temperature should be 80-85°F.
Temperatures lower than the recommended range can slow transpiration,
stunting growth. Temperatures higher than the recommended range can cause
heat stress to the plant.
NOTE: High PPFD growing conditions require high levels of attention
to detail including proper feeding and CO2 augmentation. For more

RECOMMENDED HANGING HEIGHT
The Kind LED X2is designed to excel in close proximity environments but can
be used in a variety of applications. For best practices, a minimum fixture
height of 6” above the canopy is recommended. The ideal recommended hang
height above canopy is 12“ to maintain the greatest intensity over the largest
footprint. To maintain usable intensity at a greater distance and larger, a
maximum of 18” above the canopy is recommended. For applications that
require less intensity such as Cloning Stages and early Vegetative Stages, a
distance from canopy greater than 18” may be suitable.
*ADVANCED GROWING PRACTICES
For growing practices that include CO2 augmentation, expert attention to
feeding practices and nutrient levels, and a rigid adherence to environmental
factors, a minimum hang height of 6”-12” can be achieved. This hang height
represents highly elevated PPFD intensity levels and requires care across all
elements of the growing process.

SPECTRUM
The Kind LED X2has a three channel, adjustable spectrum to
maximize your results and the overall efficiency of the light. Below are
the recommended settings for all stages of growth.
White/Blue/Red Dials can be set at any increment ranging from 0-100%
Clone/Early Veg: 50W/50B/30R
Vegetative: 100W/100B/60R
Flower: 100W/100B/100R
Late Flower: 100W/100B/80R
MANUAL & NETWORK MODES
Place the switch in manual mode for any situation in which you would
like to control the spectrum using the on-board dimming knobs and/or
when you will be using an external timer for photo period control. Place
the switch in "Network" if you will be controlling your light from our
Bluetooth gateway (sold separately). *NOTE: The Bluetooth gateway will be
available for purchase soon. Please contact our sales department for further details.
