KLIM HTD Gauntlet Glove Instruction Guide
This guide is distributed to client of KAIWERKS, LLC to satisfy regulatory requirement by stating
the required information in the product’s user manuals.

How to use
1. Make sure your KLIM HTD Glove is fully charged. (24hrs is recommend for the 1st charge)
2. To turn on, press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the light indicator lights up Red
3. Short press to change between heating levels
a. HIGH Heat – indicated by the color RED
Please note that HIGH Heat is only available for 10 minutes at a time. After 10 minutes
your glove will automatically switch to MEDIUM Heat to preserve the temperature inside
the glove. HIGH Heat can be activated again by pressing the button until the indicator
light turns Red.
b. MEDIUM Heat – indicated by the color BLUE
c. LOW Heat – indicated by the color GREEN
4. To turn off, press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the light indicator disappears
Charging
· Only charge the batteries that had experienced similar usage in pairs. Otherwise
assume 12hrs of charge time to balance the paired batteries
· Remove the battery from the zipper pocket located on the inside of the glove
· Let batteries warm up to ambient temperature before charging
· Connect the charger to a wall socket and 2 green lights will come on. (Avoid using a
power strip with other appliances)
· Check that the battery is dry and free of any condensation
· Securely connect the charger terminals to the batteries
o Red light indicates the battery is charging
o Flashing green and red lights indicates 90% charge completed
o Green light indicates charging completed
**If the first red light change to green after connecting the second battery this
means the two pairs of batteries are out of balance and the charge will charge
the weaker battery first to ensure the pair is balanced
· Always charge the batteries after use to prolong battery life
· Always remove the batteries from the charger after charging is complete
· Never charge the batteries below 0⁰C (32ºF) or above 40⁰C (104ºF)

· Never charge batteries unattended
· Only use supplied charger for charging. Using other charging devices and batteries
will void your warranty and may cause damage
· It is always recommended to charge the battery in an isolated area, away from
other flammable materials. Have a fire extinguisher for emergency use
Storage
· Do not leave the batteries plugged in to the gloves when not using
· Store battery at room temperature between 0⁰C (32ºF) to 25⁰C (77ºF) for best
results.
· Do not expose battery pack to direct sunlight (heat) for extended periods.
· When transporting or temporarily storing in a vehicle, temperature range should be
greater than -20⁰C (-4ºF) but no more than 50⁰C (122º)
· Storing battery at temperatures greater than 60⁰C (140ºF) for extended periods of
time (more than 2 hours) may cause damage to battery and possible fire
· It is recommended to charge the battery every 3 months when not in use
· It is recommended to store batteries in the fireproof container and in an isolated
area, away from other flammable materials. Always have a fire extinguisher for
emergency use.
Safety Precautions
1. If you have trouble differentiating between hot or cold temperature (eg. People with
diabetes or with other disabilities), please consult your doctor before using this product.
2. Check your fingers regularly for reddening of skin. Excessive heat levels over prolonged
periods can lead to burns
3. Children should only use this product under adult supervision
4. Do not attempt to charge if you discover any damage to the cables, connectors, or
batteries
5. Never attempt to open the battery! Improper handling may lead to serious consequence
6. In the case where the protective skin of the battery has been damaged or have signs of
swelling or warpage, do not continue to use the battery and dispose according to your local laws
7. Do not throw battery into open fire for risk of explosion
Electrical Safety Information

3. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer
· WARNING: Do not use this product in locations that can be submerged by water
· WARNING: Avoid using this product during an electrical storm. There may be a
remote risk of electric shock from lighting
4. Lithium Polymer and Li-ion batteries are volatile. Failure to read and follow instructions may
result in fire, personal injury and damage to property if charged or used improperly.
5. Lithium batteries have a cycle life, please replace an old battery with a new one when it
reaches its service life (300 charges) or when it is two years old, whichever comes first.
6. Compliance is required with respect to voltage, frequency, and current requirements
indicated on the manufacturer's label. Connection to a different power source than those
specified may result in improper operation, damage to the equipment or pose a fire hazard if the
limitations are not followed.
7. There are no user serviceable parts inside this product. Service should be provided only by
the manufacturer

o CE marking on this product represents the product is in compliance with all directives
that are applicable to it
· RoHS/WEEE Compliance Statement
o European Directive 2012/19/EU require that the equipment bearing this symbol on
the product and/or its packaging must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste.
The symbol indicates that this product and its accessories should be disposed of
separately from regular household waste. It is your responsibility to dispose of this and
other electric and electronic equipment via designated collection facilities appointed by
the government or local authorities. Correct disposal and recycling will help prevent
potential negative consequences to the environment and human health. For more
detailed information about the disposal of your old equipment, please contact your local
authorities, waste disposal service, or the shop where you purchase the product.

applicable to you.
Warranty
· KLIM warrants this product (the “Product”) against defects in materials and/or workmanship
under normal use for a period of (2) TWO Years from the date of purchase by the original
purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the
Warranty Period, then as your sole remedy (and KLIM sole liability), KLIM will at its option
either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2)
replace the Product with a new product that is functionally equivalent to the original, in each
case within 60 days following receipt of the returned Product. A replacement product or part,
assumes the remaining warranty of the original Product. When a product or part is exchanged,
any replacement becomes your property and the replaced Product becomes KLIM ’ property.

area or service agent of the reseller.
