First, place the MAIN BODY onto the
BASE.
Next, open the BOTTOM COVER on the
nderside of the MAIN BODY. Then, insert
both TIGHTENING SCREWS into the holes
and rotate 90 degrees. This will sec re the
BASE to the MAIN BODY. Replace the
BOTTOM COVER.

The SLOW FEEDING BOWL and BOWL INSERT are already fitted into the BASE, b t
are removable.
Remove the BOWL INSERT to give smaller pets easier access to food, or to tilize
the entire SLOW FEEDING BOWL for feeding.

To fill the MAIN BODY, open the top cover and po r in yo r dry food of choice.
Once the bin is f ll, sec rely replace the top cover.

Once the Knox Pet Feeder is assembled, pl g the device in and t rn the power on
when yo ’re ready to start Pettion app & Wi-Fi set p. The power switch is located
on the back of the BASE.
Please Note – Each time the feeder is t rned on, a QR code will display for 1
min te while the feeder men loads in the backgro nd. This is to give yo an
opport nity to pair yo r phone to the feeder again if needed. At the end of the
co ntdown, the feeder men will have finished loading.

Download the Pettion app to yo r mobile device from the Google Play Store or
Apple App Store. J st search for “Pettion”. Once installed, open the app and
select “User Registration” to create a Pettion acco nt.
Please Note – Yo r acco nt sername and password m st be a minim m of 6
characters each.

Once yo ’ve created yo r Pettion acco nt, it’s time to pair yo r mobile device to
the Knox Pet Feeder.
Yo can do this either via Bl etooth or a QR Code (Tip – Bl etooth sets p faster!)
Bluetooth – On the app, tap “Searching Machine”. Then j st follow the steps to
pair yo r mobile device like yo wo ld with any other Bl etooth device.
Please Note – Remember to activate the Bl etooth f nction on yo r mobile
device first!
QR Code – T rn on the Pettion app and either tap “Scan QR Code” or the “Scan”
b tton on the lower left. T rn on the pet feeder ntil the 60-second QR code
displays on the screen, and scan it! If the pet feeder is already on, t rn it off and
back on to display the 60-second QR code.

Now that yo have paired yo r mobile device to the Knox Pet Feeder, it’s time to
connect the Knox Pet Feeder to yo r Wi-Fi network!
Go to “Setting > Machine Connection” in the Pettion app.
The Pettion app will search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select yo r network and
enter in yo r Wi-Fi password if needed. The Pettion app will do the rest. Once
connection is confirmed, yo ’re ready to start sing the Know Pet Feeder to
monitor, interact with and feed yo r pet – no matter where yo are!

On the Pettion app’s main men , select “Interaction”. From here yo have two
ways to monitor yo r pet:
Single – This will activate the camera on yo r pet feeder over the internet,
allowing yo to see what it sees. The monitor on the pet feeder remains off.
Both – This will activate the camera and the monitor on yo r pet feeder. This lets
yo see yo r pet as well as letting yo r pet see and hear yo . If yo r pet is not
aro nd the pet feeder, yo can se yo r voice to call him/her over, or tap
“Clicker” which will play a so nd from the pet feeder.

If yo want to take a snapshot of what the pet feeder’s camera sees, j st tap the
“Photo” b tton on the “Interaction” screen.
Please Note – Either the “Single” or “Both” video options m st be active for
“Photo” to work.

On the “Interaction” screen, yo can adj st the vol me of the Knox Pet Feeder at
any time.
Yo can record videos of p to 10 seconds in length from yo r mobile device, and
save them to the Knox Pet Feeder to play for yo r pet at any time. Yo can also
select one of the clips to play d ring sched led feedings.

Recording Videos – Tap “Setting” on the main men screen and then select
“Machine Video”. This brings p the “Video List”. J st tap the circle/+ icon at the
bottom to start recording a new 10-second video.
Playing Videos
•Play Any Time – Go to the “Interaction” screen and select “Play”.
•Play During Feedings – Tap “Setting” on the main men screen and then
select “Machine Video”. This brings p the “Video List”. J st tap the edit
icon on the right of any video in order to make it the defa lt feeding video.
oPlease Note – From the “Video List” screen yo can rename all of
yo r videos.

Yo can dispense approximately 1 o nce of food at any given time to yo r pet.
This is in addition to sched led feedings. Simply go to the Pettion app’s main
men and select “Interaction”, and then tap “Reward”.

On the Pettion app’s main men , select “Plan”. This will take yo to the “A to
Feed Setting” screen. From here yo can set p m ltiple feedings for yo r pet.
Select the amo nt of food the Knox Pet Feeder sho ld dispense for yo r pet, and
the time it sho ld do it. All of yo r sched led feedings can be edited at any time,
no matter where yo are!

The Knox Pet Feeder doesn’t j st let yo feed yo r pet, it also keeps track of how
m ch food yo r pet has eaten over time. By allowing yo to monitor food intake,
yo can instantly know whether yo r little one is eating properly or not.
Yo can see this data by going to the Pettion app’s main men and selecting
“Health”. From here yo can see the following information:
•When the next sched led feeding is, and how m ch will be dispensed
•How m ch food yo r pet has eaten today
•How m ch food yo r pet ate yesterday
•How m ch food yo r pet has eaten over a given month

Adding More Mo ile Devices – Go to the Pettion app’s main men and select
“Setting”, then select “Share”. From here, select “Share QR Code”. This will
display a QR code on yo r mobile device; have the new mobile device scan this
code.
The new device needs to go to the Pettion app’s main men and select “Scan” on
the lower left.
Change Pet Feeder Background – If yo want to change the backgro nd of yo r
pet feeder’s monitor, go to the Pettion app’s main men and select “Setting”.
Then select “Machine Backgro nd”. From here yo can select a new photo from
yo r phone’s alb m, or restore the c rrent backgro nd to the defa lt image that
came with the pet feeder
