Dear Knox Gear Customer,
Congratulations on your purchase of the Knox Gear Luxor
Linear Array PA System. To ensure your safety and proper
setup, please read this user manual carefully before using this
accessory. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference.
The Luxor Linear Array PA System is an all-in-one linear-array
PA system featuring multiple input channels with individual
tone controls, reverb, and Bluetooth audio streaming, allowing
you to integrate the system with any number of audio spaces
and still look great. Designed to store all components in one
unit for a one-hand carry, the Luxor Linear Array PA System
is perfect for situations where ease and portability are just as
important as high-quality sound.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read and keep these instructions safe. Heed all warnings
and follow all instructions.
2. Do not use this device near water.
3. Clean only with dry cloth.
4. Do not block any ventilation openings.
5. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliiers)
that produce heat.
6. Do not bypass the safety purpose of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with
one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two
blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the
third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug
does not it into your outlet, consult an electrician.
7. Take caution not to walk on or pinch the power cord,
especially where it connects to the device and outlet.
8. Only use attachments/accessories speciied by the
manufacturer.
9. Only use with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table
speciied by the manufacturer, or sold with the device.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/
device combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
10. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.
11. Refer all servicing to qualiied service personnel. Servicing

is required when the device has been damaged in any way,
including damage to power supply cord or plug, water/moisture
damage, objects have fallen into the device, the device does
not operate normally, or it has been dropped.
CAUTION: These service instructions are for use by qualiied
service personnel only. To reduce the risk of electric
shock, do not perform any service other than those
speciied in the instruction manual. To completely
disconnect this device from the AC mains,
disconnect the power supply cord plug from the
AC receptacle.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of ire of electric shock, do not
expose this device to rain or moisture.
12. Do not expose this device to any water dripping or splashing
and ensure that no objects illed with liquids, such as vases,
are placed on the device.
WARNING: The mains plug/appliance coupler is used to
disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.
13. Protective earthing terminal: the device should be
connected to an outlet with a protective earthing
connection.
14. Correct disposal of this product: to prevent possible harm
to the environment or human health from uncontrolled
waste disposal, this product should not be disposed with
household waste. Recycle the device responsibly to
promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
15. Do not place any naked lames near the device,
including candles.

16. For adequate ventilation, do not place this device in a
conined or enclosed space, such as a bookcase or
similar unit. Product ventilation should not be impeded
by covering the ventilation openings with items such as
newspaper, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
17. Wait until the system is fully turned on and the menu
appears before turning off the power. The system will make
a noise otherwise, but this does not indicate damage.
The Knox Gear Luxor Linear Array PA System is not intended
for use in high moisture environments. Moisture can damage
the speaker cone and surround and cause corrosion of electrical
contacts and metal parts. Avoid exposing the speakers to
direct moisture. Keep speakers out of extended or intense
direct sunlight. The driver suspension will prematurely dry out
and inished surfaces may be degraded by long-term exposure
to intense ultraviolet (UV) light.
The Knox Gear Luxor Linear Array PA System can generate
considerable energy. When placed on a slippery surface such
as polished wood or linoleum, the speaker may move due to its
acoustical energy output. Precautions should be taken to assure
that the speaker does not fall off a stage or table on which it
is placed.
Hearing Damage, Prolonged Exposure to Excessive SPL
The Knox Gear Luxor Linear Array PA System can generate
sound pressure levels (SPL) strong enough to cause permanent
hearing damage. Caution should be taken to avoid prolonged
exposure to SPL in excess of 90dB.

CLEANING & CARE
Knox Gear Luxor Linear Array PA System may be cleaned
with a dry cloth. Take care not to get moisture inside the
device. Ensure that the system is unplugged from the outlet
before cleaning.
This system contains potentially lethal voltages. To prevent
electric shock or hazard, do not remove chassis, mixer
module, or AC input covers. Refer all service to qualiied
service personnel.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the Knox Gear Luxor Linear Array PA System
from the carton.
2. Remove the spacers and column speaker array from
the carton.
3. Place spacers for desired listening level then attach the
column speaker array. Note: The spacers are not required
for use. You can assemble without the spacers.
4. Connect the female end of the power cable to the mixer
and plug the male end into your wall socket or an extension
cord. Turn the Master Volume control all the way to the left.
5. Turn the power switch to the “On” position. The Power LED
Indicator should now be on.
6. At this point the Luxor is ready for use. You may adjust
the channel and master volume controls and play audio.

CONTROL PANEL
The Control Panel houses the mixing board and power
ampliier, where microphones and external sound sources are
connected.
A mixing board channels audio sources in through the inputs
and routes the signal to the outputs (Master Volume or Line
Out). The mixer controls enable you to control the tone and
volume, in addition to routing the signal and adding reverb to
individual input sources.

1. CH1 Volume Knobs: Use this knob to adjust the volume levels
for CH1.
2. CH2 Volume Knobs: Use this knob to adjust the volume levels
for CH2.
3. CH1 Mic/Line Input Selector: When CH1 is connected to a
microphone, press this button to select Mic mode. When CH1
is connected to a line input, release this button to select Line
mode.
4. CH2 Mic/Line Input Selector: When CH2 is connected to a
microphone, press this button to select Mic mode. When CH2
is connected to a line input, release this button to select Line
mode.
5. CH1 Input: 1/4” jack connector input.
6. CH2 Input: 1/4” jack connector input.
7. CH3 Input: XLR/1/4” jack combo connector input.
8. CH4/5 Input: RCA jack connector input.
9. LINE OUT: XLR connector output.
10. CH3 Mic/Line Input Selector: When CH3 is connected to a
microphone, press this button to select Mic mode. When CH3
is connected to a line input, release this button to select Line
mode.
11. CH3 Volume Knobs: Use this knob to adjust the volume levels
for CH3.
12. CH4/5 Volume Knobs: Use this knob to adjust the volume
levels for CH4/5.
13. CH4/5 Input: 3.5mm jack connector input.
14. DSP Menu/Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust the volume.
When the device is turned off and then back on, the volume
will remain the same as it does not change when the device
is turned off.

Press once to enter the DSP menu (please refer to the
“Operating the DSP Menu” section starting on page 12 for
details).
15. Vocal Cut Button: press once to select ON/OFF. When
it is on, the vocals will be cut. (Note that this is only an
entertainment function, and the voice volume is lowered, but
cannot be completely eliminated.)
16. Signal Indicator Light: Green (Standby)/Flashing Green
(Playing)/Flashing Red (Limit).
17. Microphone Effect Button - there are 4 microphone effects:
• Reverb: ON+ECHO: ON
• Reverb: ON+ECHO: OFF
• Reverb: OFF+ECHO: ON
• Reverb: OFF+ECHO: OFF
18. EQ Button: There are 6 equalizer (EQ) settings. The EQ
chosen is automatically remembered after shutdown and
will remain the same when next in use.
• Music (i.e. standard setting)
• Classic (i.e. classical music setting)
• Pop
• Rock
• Jazz
• Country
19. : Press once to skip to the next song or FM channel.
20. : Press once to skip to the previous song or FM channel.
21. Repeat Button - there are 4 modes:
• Repeat One
• Random
• Repeat Folder

23. Input Mode: Use this button to select LINE IN, BLUE
(Bluetooth), FM, or MP3 player mode.
24. : In MP3 mode, press once to play or pause song. In FM
mode, press once to scan and ind radio stations. They will
be saved automatically.
25. USB Port: Allows you to insert a USB device with MP3 iles.
26. SD Port: Allows you to insert an SD card with MP3 iles.

Master Volume & Signal Limit
The Luxor Linear Array PA System is equipped with a Master
Volume regulator that controls the overall output volume of
the system and a yellow LED that indicates that maximum
volume has been reached.
Audio Inputs
The Luxor Linear Array PA System has 5 inputs: All the inputs
will route to the speakers and to the Line Out. The Luxor Linear
Array PA System also includes Bluetooth audio streaming.
• Channels 1 & 2: 1/4” inputs
• Channel 3: XLR/1/4” Combo input
• Channels 4 & 5: RCA Jack Connector and Aux (3.5 mm) inputs
Line Out
Line out is an XLR connector output that allows you to connect
the Luxor PA System to another system of your choosing, such
as another mixer or other speakers.

The digital signal processing (DSP) menu allows the user to
customize the settings of the Luxor Linear Array PA System.
NOTE: (*) denotes automatic memory after shutoff, meaning
the setting will be remembered after the system is turned on.
On the start interface:
1. Press the DSP/Volume knob to enter the menu.
2. After entering the menu, turn the knob to select
the submenu.
Music
1. Press the knob to access the Music submenu.
2. After accessing the submenu, press the knob to select items
in downward sequence (it will proceed through the menu one
by one; if you need to reset, access the submenu again).
3. After making a selection, turn the knob to set.
• Volume: System volume [0~32] (*)
• Bass: Music bass [-12db~+12db]
• Treble: Music treble [-12db~+12db]
• EQ: Music EQ setting (see page 10)
• Vocal Cut: Eliminates the human voice in the music [OFF/ON]
• Music 3D: 3D surround sound [OFF/ON] (*)
• Sub: Strengthens bass [OFF/60Hz/80Hz/120Hz]
• Exit: Return to previous menu

NOTE: Bass and treble can only be adjusted from the default
“Music” EQ setting. Attempting to adjust the bass or treble
from another EQ setting will revert the EQ to “Music”. Manual
EQ settings are never saved; switching to a different EQ will
reset any adjustments. Values are also reset when the system
is shut off; treble and bass settings have no auto memory.
Microphone
1. Press the knob to access the Microphone submenu.
2. After accessing the submenu, press the knob to select
items in downward sequence (it will proceed through the
menu one by one; if you need to reset, access the
submenu again).
3. After selecting the item, turn the knob to set.
• Volume: Microphone volume [0~32] (*)
• Bass: Microphone bass [-12db~+12db] (*)
• Treble: Microphone treble [-12db~+12db] (*)
• Echo: Microphone echo [50ms/100ms/150ms/200ms/250ms
/300ms/350ms/400ms/450ms/500s/550ms/600ms] (*)
• Reverb: Microphone reverb [0~32] (*)
• Exit: Return to previous menu
