SAFETY INFORMATION
Read and understand all instructions before using this product. Failure tofollow all instructions listed

The term “power tool” in all of the warnings listed below refers toyour mains-operated (corded) power
tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
• To disconnect, turn all controls to the off (″O″) position, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing or cleaning.
• Do not operate any product with a damaged (cord or) plug, or after the product malfunctions or is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return product to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• Use only extension cords which have plugs and receptacles which accept the product’s plug.
Replace damaged extension cords.
• Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use
one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized extension cord will
cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. The table on the next page
shows the correct size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt,
use the next heavier gauge. The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord.
• Don’t Abuse Cord – Never carry product by cord or yank it to disconnect from receptacle. Keep cord
from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply when not in use, before servicing, when changing
bulbs (lamp), cleaning, and similar actions.
• Do not insert foreign objects into this product.
• Servicing of a product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done
only by quali ed service personnel. Replacement parts for a product must be identical to those
parts in the product.
• If operating a product in a damp location is unavoidable, then the product should only be connected
to a circuit that is protected by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI). Use of a GFCI reduces the
risk of electric shock.
• Store product indoors when not in use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not clean this product with a water spray or the like. Follow manufacturers cleaning instructions.

• Maintain the power tool with care. Follow the instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.

• Battery disposal should be in compliance with the local regulations that address the disposal of
hazardous materials, and do not incinerate battery pack.

When using a power tool at a considerable distance from a power source, be sure to use an extension
cord that has the capacity to handle the current the product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a
drop in line voltage, resulting in overheating and loss of power. Use the chart to determine the minimum
wire size required in an extension cord. Only round jacketed cords listed by Underwriter’s Laboratories
(UL) should be used.
When working outdoors with a product , use an extension cord that is designed for outside use. This
type of cord is designated with “W-A” or “W” on the cord’s jacket. Before using any extension cord,
inspect it for loose or exposed wires and cut or worn insulation.

Extension Cord – Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension
cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized
extension cord will cause a drop in voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. The table shows
the correct size to use depending on cord length and name plate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next
heavier gauge. The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord. To reduce the risk of disconnection
of appliance cord from the extension cord during operating:
1. Make a knot as shown in Figure A. or
2. Use one of the plug-receptacle retaining straps or connectors.

1a. TO INSTALL BATTERY PACK
a. Align the battery pack (not included) with the
battery opening.
b. Insert the battery into the battery opening until the

4. SWIVELING THE LIGHT HEAD
a. Hold the auxiliary handle (D) and unlock the right
and left knobs (A).
b. Turn the light head to the necessary position and
then tighten the knobs.

a. To turn the work light ON, install the battery pack
or connect the power source, and then press the
ON/OFF switch (E). The work light will be turned
on at maximum brightness.
b. To reduce the brightness, press the ON/OFF
switch (E) again.
c. To turn it OFF, press the ON/OFF switch (E) a
third time.
WARNING
Do not continue to press the ON/OFF switch (E)
after the work light has automatically switched off.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, remove the battery or extension cord from the work
light. For safe and proper operation, always keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean.
Always use only a soft, dry cloth to clean the plastic transparent cover, never use detergent or
alcohol. Always wear safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.

Al usar una herramienta eléctrica a una distancia considerable de la fuente de energía, use una
extensión eléctrica que soporte la corriente que usará el producto. Una extensión de un tamaño menor
que el requerido causará una baja en el voltaje de la línea. Esto podría provocar un corte de energía
y sobrecalentamiento. Use la tabla para determinar el tamaño mínimo de cable necesario para una
extensión eléctrica.
Al trabajar en exteriores con un producto, use una extensión eléctrica diseñada para uso en exteriores.
Estetipo de extensión está marcada con “W-A” o “W” en su revestimiento. Antes de usar cualquier
extensión eléctrica, inspecciónela para ver si hay cables sueltos o expuestos, ocortes o desgaste en el
aislamiento.

Extensiones eléctricas – Asegúrese de que su cable de extensión esté en buenas condiciones. Cuan-
do utilice un cable de extensión, asegúrese de utilizar uno que
para conducir la corriente que su producto necesita. Un cable de tamaño más pequeño que el requeri-
do provocará sobrecalentamiento. La tabla que aparece a continuación muestra el tamaño de uso
la placa de datos. Sitiene dudas, utilice
un cable con el calibre subsiguiente. Mientras más chico sea el número del calibre, más pesado será el
cable. Para reducir el riesgo de desconexión del cable para electrodoméstico de la extensión eléctrica
durante el funcionamiento:
1. Haga un nudo como se muestra en la Figura A, o
2. Utilice una de las correas de retención o conectores del receptáculo del enchufe.

1a. PARA INSTALAR LA BATERÍA
a. Alinee el paquete de baterías (no se incluye) con
la abertura de la batería.
b. Inserte la batería en la abertura de la batería hasta
que el botón de liberación de la batería (C) se
bloquee en su lugar.
c. Empuje la batería hacia abajo hasta que encaje en
su lugar. Deberá escuchar un “clic” una vez que
está instalado.
1b. PARA RETIRAR LA BATERÍA
a. Presione el botón de liberación de la batería para
liberar el paquete de baterías.
b. Empuje el paquete de baterías hacia arriba para
retirarlo de la herramienta.
ADVERTENCIA
Las herramientas a batería siempre están en
condiciones de funcionamiento. Por lo tanto, siempre
apague la luz cuando esta no se encuentre en uso o
cuando transporte la herramienta junto a usted.

• No se descuide por el hecho de conocer el producto. Recuerde que un descuido de una fracción
• No utilice ningún acoplamiento o accesorio que el fabricante de este producto no recomiende. El

4. ROTACIÓN DEL CABEZAL DE LA LUZ
a. Sujete la manija auxiliar (D) y desbloquee las
perillas derecha e izquierda (A).
b. Gire el cabezal de la luz a la posición necesaria y
luego apriete las perillas.

3. ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO
a. Para encender la luz de trabajo, instale el paquete
de baterías o conecte la fuente de alimentación, y
luego presione el interruptor de encendido/apaga
do (E). La luz de trabajo se encenderá con el brillo
máximo.
b. Para reducir el brillo, vuelva a presionar el interrup-
tor de encendido/apagado (E).
c. Para apagarla, presione el interruptor de encendi-
do/apagado (E) por tercera vez.
ADVERTENCIA
No siga presionando el interruptor de encendido/
apagado (E) luego de que la luz de trabajo se
haya apagado automáticamente. La batería puede
dañarse.
Nota: puede usar el gancho para colgar (BB) para
colgar la unidad en 5,08 cm x 10,16 cm.
