GENERAL SAFETY
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock and injury to persons, including the
following:
The heater is only intended for private domestic
non-commercial use, as described below. Any other
uses not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons and

Remove the heater from its packaging and check to
make sure it is in good condition before using.
Keep the packaging for storage/transportation.
Do not let children play with parts of the packing
(such as plastic bags).
Ensure the power supply to the socket into which
the heater is plugged is in accordance with the
rating label on the heater and that the socket is
earthed.
Do not use the heater if the power cord is damaged.
If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced
by a recognized service agent or other qualified
person. If the plug is damaged, see Plug Fitting
details below.
Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover
the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like.
Arrange the cord away from traffic area where it
may be tripped over.
Keep the mains lead away from the heat outlet grill
of the heater.

prevent electric shock.
Do not use the heater in areas where flammable

CARE OF YOUR HEATER
Flat Fan Heater with thermostat FFH202
Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking
into account the safety instructions opposite.
Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable
socket.
Turn the thermostat knob fully in a clockwise
direction to the maximum setting.
Turn on the heating element using the rotational
switch (3) to select either 1kw or 2kw. When
the heater is on, the indicator light will be
illuminated.
When the desired room temperature has been
reached, the thermostat knob should be turned
slowly anti-clockwise until the thermostat is
heard to click off and the indicator light is seen
to go out. After this the heater will keep the air
temperature in the room at the set temperature
by switching on and off automatically.
In it’s minimum (fully anti-clockwise) position,
the thermostat provides a frost guard position.
In this position (depending on the size of the
room) the heater will maintain the temperature
above freezing.
CLEANING THE HEATER
Always unplug the heater from the wall
socket and allow it to cool down before
cleaning.
Clean the outside of the heater by wiping
with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth.
Do not use any detergents or abrasives
and do not allow any water to enter the
heater.
STORING THE HEATER
When the heater is not used for long
periods of time it is best stored in it’s
original box or should be protected from
dust and stored in a clean dry place.
Note: It is normal when the heater is turned on for the first time or when it has been turned on
after having not been used for a long period of time that it may emit some smell and fumes. This
will disappear when the heater has been on a short while.
