battery packs. Use of any other battery packs
may create a risk of injury and fire.
lWhen battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,
that can make a connection from one terminal to
another.
lOnly charge the battery at an atmospheric
temperature between 4˚C and 40˚C.
lEnsure that the battery and charger are kept

leep the Combi Drill, Impact Driver, Batteries and Battery Charger in the carry case provided and store
in a dry place where they will not be exposed to frost or direct sunlight. Also keep away from fire sources
and sources of extreme temperatures (such as solar heating, heaters or in any place above 50˚C).
lNever use the drivers, batteries or battery charger if there are any signs of wear and tear or cracks.
Remove from use until replaced or repaired using only genuine parts by a qualified person.
lTo assure the safety and reliability, all repairs should be performed by an authorised service centre.
lOnly use the recommended battery and chargers. If they need replacing please see ‘SPARES’ section
on page 7.
lThe batteries and battery charger should never be placed near any coins or metal wares such as screws
and drivers to avoid short circuit of battery or battery charger.
lDisconnect the power tool from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
lClean the power tool and the mains connection with a dry or damp cloth and allow to dry. DO NOT
immerse in water or any other liquid or place under running water.
lDO NOT use any solvents or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach or abrasive products.
lDO NOT let water or any other liquid into the air vents as this can cause damage to the inner parts of

the batteries fully before first use.
1. Remove the battery from the power tool by pressing the battery
release button (7 or 13) and pulling the battery out of the drill
(See Fig.1).
2. Insert the battery into the charger provided only. Align raised part on
the battery with the groove in the charger. Using any other charger
than the one provided can cause severe damage and may even
cause the battery to explode. (See Fig.2).
3. Connect the charger to the power supply and charge for the time
stated below.
CHARGING TI E: 60mins approx.
4. The red pilot light on the charger will remain on and the green pilot

OPERATION
DRILLING (CO BI DRILL ONLY):
1. Ensure that the material to be drilled is secured in a vice or with clamps to keep it from turning as the
drill bit rotates.
2. Hold the drill firmly and place the drill bit at the point to be drilled.
3. Depress the trigger (9) to start the rotation of the drill.
4. Move the drill bit into the workpiece, applying only enough pressure to feed the cutting. Do not force or
apply side pressure to elongate a hole.
5. Once hole is drilled switch the drill into reverse and guide out.
If drilling into metal use a light oil on the drill bit piece. This will help prevent the drill bit overheating and
prolong the life of the drill bit.
Please note: When drilling hard smooth surfaces use a centre punch to mark the desired hole location.
This will prevent the drill from slipping off centre as the hole is drilled. However, the lower speed
setting: 1 allows the starting of holes without punching if desired.
If the drill bit jams in the workpiece or if the drill stalls, stop the drill immediately, remove the drill bit
from the workpiece and determine the reason for jamming before continuing.
WARNING! Be prepared for binding or breakthrough. When these situations
occur, the drill has a tendency to grab and kick in the opposite direction
and could cause loss of control which could results in serious personal
injury.
FIG.1
FIG.2
LED LIGHT (10 OR 16):
Both the Combi Drill and the Impact Driver have LED Lights (10 or 16) to illuminate the workpiece.
The lights illuminate when the trigger is depressed and cuts off when the trigger is released.
WARNING! DO NOT STARE AT THE LED LIGHT NOR SHINE IT IN OTHER
PEOPLE’S EYES.

OPERATING THE TRIGGER (9 OR 15):
2-SPEED LEVEL (CO BI DRILL ONLY):
TORQUE CONTROL (CO BI DRILL ONLY):
1. Depress the Trigger (9 or 15) to rotate the driver (See Fig.6).
2. The speed of the Combi Drill and the Impact Driver can be adjusted by
the amount of pressure applied to the trigger. The more pressure
applied to the trigger, the faster the rotation speed.
3. To avoid accidentally starting the driver, position the Forward/Reverse
Switch (6 or 12) into the central position to stop the driver rotating.
The Combi Drill has a 2-speed level designed for drilling or driving at low
or high speeds.
Selecting Speed 1 (LOW):
1. The 2-speed switch (4) is located at the top of the Combi Drill.
Slide this backwards to select speed 1 (LOW) (See Fig.7). This will
decrease the speed in the drill but increase the power and torque.
Selecting Speed 2 (HIGH):
1. The 2-speed switch (4) is located at the top of the Combi Drill.
Slide this forwards to select speed 2 (HIGH) (See Fig.8). This will
increase the speed in the drill but decrease the power and torque.
It is recommended that you use Speed 1 (LOW) for high power and
torque applications and Speed 2 (HIGH) for fast drilling or driving
applications
The Combi Drill has Torque control. This prevents the heads of smaller
diameter screws being twisted off when correctly set.
Setting the Torque:
1. Turn the Torque Adjustment Ring (2) clockwise or anti-clockwise to
adjust the amount of torque (See Fig.9).
2. Fastening torque is greater as the numerals are larger. The drill
position has full torque.
Please note: Overloading and stalling the drill at any time can lead to
motor burnout and also dramatically reduces battery life.
WARNING! Do not change the direction of rotation until the driver comes to
a complete stop.

FUNCTION SETTINGS (CO BI DRILL ONLY):
The Combi Drill has a function ring. This is used to switch between
driving drilling and drilling with impact
Setting the driving, drilling and drilling with impact functions:
1. Turn the Function Ring (3) clockwise or anti-clockwise to switch
between the different settings (See Fig.10).
