Preface
Dear customer,
Please read this instruction manual and the warranty conditions carefully before using your pushchair. It is important that
every person using this pushchair reads and understands both documents. Demonstrate how the pushchair works, before
lending it to anyone else. If you do not follow the instructions, maintenance suggestions and warnings, you may jeopardize
your child's safety. Keep both documents in a safe place for future reference. Safety instructions have the symbol, tips
have the symbol.
The pushchair can be used for children from their birth up to the age of 4 approximately, it has a load-bearing capacity of
15 kg. It is important to check the complete pushchair and all its parts before use. If a part is missing or damaged, please
report this to your Koelstra point of sale within 7 days of purchase.

The pushchair, ride-along board and carrycot have been manufactured in accordance with the European standard EN 1888.
In addition, the carrycot conforms to the standard EN 1466.

you must be able to show the pushchair together with the serial number*, proof of purchase and a fully completed
warranty form.
•The sticker with the serial number can be found at the bottom of the pushchair. Do not remove this sticker, this is a
warranty requirement.
* Only so-called ‘hard goods’ have a serial number. ‘Soft goods’ do not have a serial number.

1 Unpacking and assembling
1.1 Before rst use
Danger, risk of death!
• Keep plastic packaging materials away from children
as they can present a choking hazard for children.
• Beware of small parts. Your child may swallow a small
part and choke.
• Do not place any loose objects in the pushchair.
Warning!
• Beforeuse,checkyourproductforanydamage,looseor
missing parts, sharp edges and/or protruding parts.
• Never exceed the maximum weight allowed in the
pushchair(seechapter9‘Technicalspecications’).
Caution!
•To prevent damage, do not remove logos or stickers.
Some logos and stickers are required by law.
Tip
•For environmental reasons, we recommend that you
dispose of the packaging at your local civic amenity site.
1. Take the pushchair and the remaining parts out of the
box.
2. Remove all packaging materials and discard immediately.
3. Use ‘What's in the box?’ to check if the pushchair is
complete(seep.4).
1.2 Mounting the wheels
Caution!
• Always check that all the wheels have been tted
correctly, as among other things, this is important for the
brake to function properly.
Assemblingtheswivelwheel(seeg.1):
1. Take the wheel with the swivel wheel lock.
2. Remove the transparent protective cover from the axle
and discard this.
3. Take the parts out of the plastic bag that is attached to
the loose wheel.
4. Place a ring on the axle.
5. Slide the loose wheel on to the axle with the valve facing
outwards.
6. Place the remaining ring on the axle.
7. Squeeze the split pen through the opening in the axle.
8.Thentthewheelcapinplaceontheaxlewithaclick.
Installingtheswivelwheel(seeg.2):
1. Slide the assembled swivel wheel on the front leg of the
frame.
You will hear a click.
2.Checkthattheswivelwheelissecurelyattached.
Toinstalltherearwheels:
1. Remove the transparent protective covers from the axles
of both rear wheels.
2.Slidetherearwheelsintherearaxleasshowningure3
(notethedirectionoftheproleonthetyres).
You will hear a click.
3.Checkthattherearwheelsaresecurelyattached.
1.3 Unfold
Warning!
•Bewareofanymovingpartsorhingeswhenunfolding,
folding or adjusting the pushchair.
•Keepyourchildatasafedistance.Bewareofgettingyour
ngersorhandstrapped,orthoseofyourchild.
Caution!
• Neveruseforceifyouexperienceresistancewhenfolding
or unfolding the pushchair.
The frame has been folded, the wheels have been attached.
1. Engage the pushchair's parking brake (see section 2.6
‘Usingtheparkingbrake’).
2. Stand next to the pushchair.
3. Lift the push bar until the frame falls into the locking
mechanismonbothsides(seeg.4).
You will hear a click on both sides.
4. Rotatethepushbartotherequiredposition(seesection
2.1‘Adjustingthepushbar’).

1.4 Installing seat, canopy and safety front brace
Warning!
• Neverchangetheseat'sdirectionoftravelwhileyouris
child sitting or lying in it.
• Ifyourchildcannotyetsitindependently,onlyusethe
lying position.
• Neverusetheseatseparatefromthepushchair'sframe.
•Never lift the entire pushchair by the safety front brace.
Caution!
•Never lift the seat by the canopy, use the safety front
brace instead.
Tip
•Open the safety front brace on one side, so you can easily
place your child in the pushchair or take it out of the
pushchair.
Toinstallthesafetyfrontbrace:
•Fit the safety front brace in place in the designated plastic
partsontheseatwithaclick(seeg.5).
Toinstallthecanopy:
1. Half open the zips on both sides of the seat.
2. Open the press studs underneath.
3. Guide the canopy fasteners through the slits in the seat
(seeg.6).
4. Fit the canopy fasteners in place on the seat frame with a
click(seeg.7).
5. Closethezipsandpressstudsyouopenedjustnow.
6. Open the zip at the top of the seat completely, so that
theseatframeshows(seeg.8).
7. Attachthecanopyziptotheseatzip.
Attention: The remaining part of the zip on the seat has
no function at this moment.
Toinstalltheseatontheframe:
The pushchair is unfolded.
1. Engagethepushchair'sparkingbrake.
2. Fold up the canopy.
3. Lift the seat by the safety front brace.
4. Drop the plastic parts of the carrycot on the central lock
partsontheframe(seeg.9).
You will hear a click on both sides.
Attention:
• Youcanplacetheseatontheframesothatitisfacing
forwards or backwards. This will change the direction in
whichyourchildwillbelooking(seeg.10).
• Thepushchaircanonlybefoldedwiththeseatiftheseat
isfacingforwards,thedirectionoftravel(seeg.10a).
5. Checkthattheseatissecurelyattached.
6. Remove or disassemble the seat if desired, as described
inthestepsinchapter6,‘Disassembling‘.
2 Pushing the pushchair
Danger, risk of serious injury or death!
• Never place the pushchair near heaters, open re or
other sources of heat as this could pose a re hazard.
• Keep the pushchair away from loose leads, wires and
cables on account of the risks of falling objects,
strangulation or choking.
Warning!
• Beforeuse,checkthattheseatissecurelyattachedtothe
frame.
• Nevertransportmorethanonechildinthepushchair.
• Always keep hold of the pushchair when your child is
inside.
• Only use accessories that are supplied by Koelstra BV.
Otheraccessorieshavenotbeenspecicallydesignedfor
Koelstra products and may overload your pushchair and
cause it to be incorrectly balanced.
• Donotuseasecondchild'sseat.
• Donotallowyourchildtostandonthebarsbetweenthe
wheels. This can be dangerous for your child and will
damage the pushchair.
• Remove your child from the pushchair when using
escalators, stairs, lifts and steep slopes.
• Never allow your child to stand up in the pushchair,
always use the 5-point safety harness.
• Donotliftupthepushchairwhenyourchildisstillinit.
• Never leave your child in or around the pushchair
unsupervised.
• Takeextracareneartrainstationsorroads.Gustsofwind
from passing trains or cars can cause the pushchair to
move.

• Avoiddangeroussituations:donot jog,skateetc.with
the pushchair.
• Aluminium,metalandsyntheticpartscanbecomevery
hot in the sun. Make sure your child cannot burn itself on
any hot parts.
Caution!
• Always use all wheels simultaneously, even when
manoeuvringthepushchair ontooro thepavement.
Althoughtheframeisstrong,itwillwearmuchquickerif
you only use the rear wheels.
• Donotusethepushchairfortransportingbaggage,as
overloading the pushchair may cause damage.
• Neverexposethepushchairtoextremetemperatures.
• Neverpushthepushchairthroughwateronthebeach.
• Donotplaceproductsonthecanopy.
Attention!
• Alwayskeepthecanopyonthepushchairunfoldedto
protect your child's sensitive skin from the sun. If you do
not want to use the canopy, then attach a parasol.
• To avoid danger of ngers becoming jammed or the
product suddenly folding, check that all the locks are
securely engaged each time before use.
• Checkthatthezipsandpressstudsareproperlyclosed
and/or attached.
2.1 Adjusting the push bar
Warning!
• Donotletanyshoppingbagsorotheritemshangfrom
thepushbar,asthismayaectthepushchair'sstability
and durability, and may cause the pushchair to tip over.
1. Standbehindthepushchair(behindthepushbar).
2. Engagethepushchair'sparkingbrake.
3. Place your hands on the plastic parts below the push bar.
4. Usingyourindexngers,pressthepushbaradjustment
buttons and keep them down.
5. Nowpushthepushbardownorup(seeg.11).
If you release the push bar adjustment buttons, the push bar
will automatically lock in the required position.
2.2 Adjusting the back rest
Attention!
•Never adjust the back rest when your child is sitting or
lying in the pushchair.
The back rest allows for stepless adjustment.
Toplacetheseatinthelyingposition:
The pushchair is unfolded, the seat is upright.
• Pushthebackrestadjusterlugdownandpullittoplace
thebackrestinthedesiredlyingposition(seeg.12a).
Toplacetheseatinsittingposition:
The pushchair is unfolded, the seat is in lying position.
1. Usingonehand,pushthebackrestupwards.
2. Pull the Dring of the back rest adjuster strap to secure the
backrestinthedesiredsittingposition(seeg.12b).
Tip: You can place the dangling part of the back rest
adjuster strap in the storage compartment at the back of
the seat.
2.3 Adjusting the leg rest (see g. 13)
Warning!
• Neverletanotherchildstandonthepushchair'slegrest.
The pushchair is unfolded, the seat has been mounted on the
frame, the leg rest is in the vertical position.
1. Lift the leg rest.
2. Rotate the leg rest adjuster upwards and place it on the
hook behind the protruding part on the bottom of the
leg rest.
The leg rest has 2 modes: horizontal and vertical.
2.4 Using the 5-point safety harness
Warning!
• Always use the safety front brace when your child is
sitting or lying in the pushchair.
• Checkthatthe5-pointsafetyharnessisneithertootight
nor too slack. Prevent your child from adopting a posture
in which it can tip the pushchair over or can fall out of it.
• Alwaysusetheentire5-pointsafetyharness,thatmeans
also the shoulder straps and crotch strap.

Caution!
• Only use the 5-point safety harness supplied with this
pushchair.
• Always secure your child in the 5-point safety harness
(evenifyourchildisabletositupunaided).
Attention!
• Always adjust the height of the 5-point safety harness
according to your child's height. The larger the child, the
higher the shoulder strap should be positioned in the
seat.
• Always adjust the depth of the 5-point safety harness
according to your child's size. The smaller the child, the
further in the crotch strap should be positioned in the
seat.
• Always adjust the length of the 5-point safety harness
according to your child's size. Do this using the sliding
buckles on the 5-point safety harness.
• Makesurethestrapsofthe5-pointsafetyharnessarenot
twisted.
Tip
• The5-pointsafetyharnesshasDringsattachedtothehip
straps. If desired, an additional set of straps or a harness
can be attached to these.
• Slidetheshoulderpadsontheshoulderstrapsalongthe
sliding buckles to make your child more comfortable.
Locking the 5-point safety harness (seeg.14):
All buckles on the 5-point safety harness are unclasped.
1. Engagethepushchair'sparkingbrake.
2. Place your child in the pushchair.
Attention! Make sure that the strap of the hip strap
always runs behind your child's back and is attached at
the front.
3. Place one of your child's legs on each side of the crotch
strap.
4. Place the shoulder straps over each of your child's
shoulders.
5. Connectthestrapclipononesideofthehipstrapinthe
central harness lock to the crotch strap with a click.
6. Then connect the strap clip on the other side of the hip
strap in the central harness lock to the crotch strap with a
click.
7. Open the crotch strap cover upholstery and then close
the press stud in the middle of the central harness lock
(seeg.15).
Attention: The central harness lock must always be
covered by the crotch strap cover upholstery.
8. Checkthatthe5-pointsafetyharnessissecurebygiving
it a gentle tug.
9. Tightentheshoulderstraps,hipstrapandcrotchstrap
using the sliding buckles attached to the belts of the
harness.
Unlockingthe5-pointsafetyharness(seeg.16):
1. Usingyourthumbandindexnger,pressthestrapclip
on one side of the hip strap and take the strap clip out of
the central harness lock.
2. Repeat step 1 for the other side.
Tip: The hip and shoulder straps can remain connected
to each other.
2.5 Locking/unlocking the swivel wheel (see g. 17)
Tip
• The locked position is very handy for pushing the
pushchair on sandy or rough ground.
• Withtheswivelwheelunlocked,thepushchairhasavery
small turning circle, which is very handy when shopping.
Tolocktheswivelwheel:
• Useyourfoottopresstheswivelwheellockontheswivel
wheel.
The swivel wheel is then locked as soon as you start pushing
the pushchair.
Tounlocktheswivelwheel:
• Useyourfoottopushuptheswivelwheellockonthe
swivel wheel to unlock it.
The swivel wheel can now move freely.
2.6 Using the parking brake (see g. 18)
Warning!
• Neverleaveyourchildinthepushchairunsupervised,not
even if the parking brake is engaged.
• Always engage the parking brake on the pushchair
whenever you bring the pushchair to a standstill (for
example when putting your child in or taking your child
outofthepushchair).
