•To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse appliance,

Special Notes for Children and Frail Individuals
•In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic
bags, boxes, polystyrene etc..) out of their reach. Do not let children near
the appliance hen it is in use.
•When not in use, store appliance out of children's reach.
WARNING: When in cooking mode, make sure the appliance has been stopped
before your lift up the arm.
NOTE: For safety reasons, hen the Stand Mixer stops or restarts, if it's
temperature is above 50°C the speed of the beater ill be at 1. It is necessary for
the temperature to go do n belo 50°C before you can use the other speed
levels (2 to 6). The cooling do n time depends on the temperature that as
used to cook.

Operations
Ho to use the Mixer
1. First take the ingredients as required for your recipe and combine them
into the mixing bo l.
2. Lift the arm of the mixer by turning the raising/lo ering lever, then place
the bo l into the base, turning it in a clock ise direction to lock it in.
3. Insert the dough hook/beater into the drive shaft, turning it in a clock ise
direction to lock it in.
4. Fit the transparent cover onto the mixing bo l ensuring it is securely
attached.
5. Lo er the arm of the mixer so that the stirring accessory is inside the
bo l.
6. Plug the mixer in to the po er supply.
7. Use the controls to set the unit to function in hichever operations you
require.
8. Once you have finished, set the control s itch to 0.
9. Unplug the mixer from the po er supply.
10. Raise the arm by turning the raising/lo ering lever.
11. Turn the mixing bo l in a clock ise direction to remove it from the base.
Functions and Maximum Loads
1. Dough mixing
A) Add flour and ater in proportions of 1:0.6
B) Stir starting at speed 1, then speed 2, then speed 3 for 2 minutes each.
C) The maximum flour load is 1500g.
2. Egg hisking
A) Start hisking from speed 4 up to speed 6 over a time of 5 minutes.
B) The maximum egg load is 16 eggs. The minimum egg load is 2 eggs.
3. Liquid mixing
A) Beat from speeds 1 through to speed 6 as required.
B) Do not exceed the maximum level amount of the mixing bo l.
4. Cooking
A) Liquids or soup: maximum of 1.5L.
Note: do not operate unit for longer than 6 minutes continuously. After 6
minutes, allo unit to cool for 20 minutes.
When the unit is stopped, the speed control must be returned to the '0' position
before you select your desired speed for the motor to ork. During heating,
speed should be set to '1'.
If the po er to the unit is cut or a blackout is experienced, then the speed
control must be returned to the '0' position upon return of po er for the motor
to ork.
If the unit shuts do n due to the temperature exceeding 50°C, the speed
control must be returned to the '0' position once it has cooled do n for the
motor to ork.

Using the Mixing Bo l
1. Place the mixing bo l into its holding device and turn the bo l in the
direction of the LOCK until it locks into place.
2. In order to lift the arm, press the raising/lo ering lever do n ards in the
direction of the arro . The arm ill no move up ards.
3. Mount the required utensil by inserting the top into the drive shaft and
locking the cotter pin in the shaft by turning it to the right.
4. Fill bo l ith your ingredients. Do not overfill the bo l. The maximum
amount is 1.5kg.
5. Lo er the arm using the lever.
6. Insert the po er plug into a all socket and turn it on.
7. S itch the machine on using the level regulator control to a speed
bet een 1 and 6 (depending on the mixture and requirements).
8. For pulse operations (kneading at short intervals), turn the s itch to the
“PULSE” position. The s itch has to be held in this position according to
the desired interval length. When the s itch is released, it ill return
automatically to the '0' position.
Adjusting the Speed Control for different mixtures
Speed Utensil Type of Mixture
1 – 3 Dough Hook Heavy mixtures (eg bread or short pastry)
6 Beater Medium/heavy mixtures (eg crepes or sponge)
5 – 6 Whisk Light mixtures (eg cream, egg hites, blacmange)
Pulse Whisk Intervals (eg for mixing under sponge, egg hites..)
Note: use the splash guard to protect against spills and prevent burns.
9. After kneading/stirring, turn the s itch back to the '0' position as soon as
the mixture has formed a ball, then remove the mains plug from the po er
supply.
10. Press the lo ering/raising lever do n ards to raise the arm.
11. The mixture can no be released ith the help of a spatula from the
mixing bo l.
12. The mixing bo l can no be removed by turning it to the left.
13. Clean the parts as instructed under 'Cleaning'.
Using the Cooking Function
Ho to use and maximum loading quantities
In order to use the cooking function, it is necessary to start
doing the steps 1 to 7 from “Ho to use the Mixer”. Then
press the TIME button to set the cooking time using the +
and – buttons. Once set, press the TEMP button and set the
temperature using the + and – buttons. Once the cooking
time and temperature are set, press START/STOP to start
cooking.

When cooking liquids or soups, the maximum amount you can put in the bo l is
1.5L. For all other types of ingredients the maximum quantity is 1500g.
For the best performance of the unit, you must follo the maximum load
quantities.
Notes:
•When the unit is stopped, the speed control must be returned to position
'0' before selecting another speed level, other ise the motor ill not
ork. When using the cooking function, no matter hat speed is selected,
the unit ill remain orking at speed '1'.
•To prevent burns, use the splash cover at all times hen using the cooking
function and use the silicone handles to move the bo l.
Cleaning
•Before cleaning, remove the mains lead from the socket.
•Never immerse the housing into ater.
•Do not use any sharp objects or abrasive detergents.
Motor Housing
•Wipe the housing do n ith a damp cloth.
Mixing Bo l and Mixing Equipment
•The components are NOT suitable for cleaning in the dish asher. If
exposed to heat or caustic cleaners, they may become misshapen or
discoloured.
•Components that have come into contact ith food can simply be cleaned
ith soapy ater.
•Allo the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the device.
Suggested Recipes
Sponge Mixture
Ingredients
250g butter or margarine, 250g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 4
eggs, 500g heat flour, 1 packet baking po der, 1/8 litre of milk.
Preparation
1. Transfer the heat flour and the remaining ingredients to the mixing bo l.
Stir ith stirrer for 30 seconds on speed 1, then for approximately 3
minutes on speed 3.
2. Grease a tin or cover ith baking paper. Fill in the mixture and bake in
oven for 50-60 minutes at 180C.

3. Before cake is removed from oven, test to see if it is done by pressing a
sharp stick do n into the center of the cake. If no mixture sticks to it, then
it is cooked.
4. Turn the cake out onto a cake grid and allo to cool.
Linseed Bread Rolls
Ingredients
500-550g heat flour, 50g linseed, 3/8 litre ater, 1 cube of yeast (40g), 100g
lo -fat curds ell drained, 1 tsp salt. For coating: 2 tbsp of ater.
Preparation
1. Soak linseed in 1/8 litre of arm ater.
2. Transfer remaining luke arm ater ( litre) into the mixing bo l. Crumble¼
in yeast, add curds and mix ith the kneading hook on speed 2 until yeast
is thoroughly dissolved.
3. Put flour, soaked linseed and salt into mixing bo l. Knead thoroughly on
speed 1, then s itch to level 2 and knead for 3-5 minutes.
4. Cover mixture and allo to rise in a arm place for 45-60 minutes.
5. Knead thoroughly once more, remove from bo l and form into sixteen
rolls.
6. Cover baking tin ith et baking paper and place rolls onto paper and
allo to rise for 15 minutes.
7. Coat ith luke arm ater and bake in oven for 30-40 minutes at 210C.
Chocolate Cream
Ingredients
200ml s eet cream, 150g semi-bitter chocolate coating, 3 eggs, 50-60g sugar, 1
pinch salt, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 1 tablespoon cognac or rum, chocolate flakes
Preparation
1. Beat cream in mixing bo l ith hisk until stiff. Remove from bo l and
place some here to cool.
2. Melt the chocolate coating in accordance ith the instructions on the
packet, or in the micro ave at 600W for 3 minutes.
3. Mean hile, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, cognac or rum and salt in the
mixing bo l ith the hisk on speed 3 to form a foam.
4. Add melted chocolate and stir in evenly on speeds 5-6.
5. Leave a little cream for decoration.
6. Add remaining cream to mixture and stir in briefly using the pulse
function.
7. Decorate chocolate cream and serve ell cooled.
