In addition to installation procedures, this manual contains important care and

NOTE: Some installation parts might not be provided.
NOTE: The toilet pictured in the installation steps may dier from the model
being installed.

¨ Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
¨ Prior to installation, unpack the new lavatory and inspect it for damage.
Return the lavatory to its protective carton until you are ready to install it.
¨ Inspect the drain and supply tubing. Replace if necessary.
¨ Use the template supplied with the lavatory.
¨ For replacement installations, make sure the existing cutout is the same size
or smaller than needed for the new lavatory.
¨ Failure to follow these precautions may result in a poor installation.
¨ Do not use adhesives or adhesive sealants with this product.
¨ Fixture dimensions are nominal and conform to tolerances established by
Standards TIS 791-2544.

1. Preparation
¨Install the water supplies and drain piping.
¨Determine the faucet centerline location. Consider the faucet and handle
escutcheon diameters, the length of the spout, and the clearance between
the spout and the lavatory rim.
NOTE: Some Kohler faucets require a minimum of 64 mm behind the nal
faucet centerline.
¨Cut along the backsplash locator line on the template.
¨Cut out the template along the inside of the template cuing line.
¨Position the template on the countertop to ensure clearance between the
lavatory, faucet, and backsplash.
¨Verify cabinet clearance beneath the countertop.
¨Use a pencil to trace the template on the countertop.
¨Mark the faucet and handle centerline on the countertop.

2. Install the Lavatory
Dimensions are for Kohler faucets only. When using other faucets, contact
supplier for installation instructions and dimension.

¨Cut out the opening by carefully following the pencil line traced from the
template.
¨Temporarily position the lavatory in the opening. Adjust the t of the
lavatory.
¨Remove the lavatory from the countertop.
¨Drill the faucet holes using the above chart to determine their size.
¨Install the faucet to the countertop according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
¨Install the drain to the lavatory according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
¨Carefully position the lavatory in the cut-out.
¨Apply a thin, continuous bead of sealant around the lavatory edges.
¨Immediately wipe away any excess sealant, and ll any voids as needed.
¨Verify that the lavatory has not moved out of position.
¨Allow the sealant to cure for at least 30 minutes before proceeding.
¨Connect and tighten the trap to the drain, and complete the water supply
connections to the faucet according to the instructions packed with the
faucet.
¨Run water into the lavatory and check for leaks.

Care and Cleaning
For best results, keep the following in mind when caring for your product:
• Carefully read the cleaner product label to ensure the cleaner is safe for use
on the material.
• Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying
to the entire surface.
• Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately aer
cleaner application. Rinse and dry any overspray that lands on nearby
surfaces.
• Do not allow cleaners to sit or soak on the surface.
• Use a so, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such as
a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces.
• Be careful not to leave staining materials in contact with the surface for
extended periods of time.
• The ideal cleaning technique is to rinse thoroughly and blot dry any water
from the surface aer each use.

 
