Operation Overview
System Activation: System is activated and operated solely by the user
interface. The user interface can only be triggered by soft objects such
as a finger, elbow, or rubberized utensil handle. Hard objects,
especially metal objects, will not activate the user interface.
Unintentional Activation: System will not activate if both icons are
pressed at the same time. System will also turn off if an icon is pressed
for longer than 3 seconds.
Stop Activation: Any icon pressed while the system is running will
stop the current cycle. If the disposal is running, the disposal will be
turned off and the water will run for approximately 5 seconds before
turning off. If an icon is pressed twice while the disposal and water are
running, both will turn off immediately.
Rinsing and Disposal Cycle Options:
Short Rinse Cycle - Water only rinse cycle. Water will run for
approximately 5 seconds then turn off.
Long Rinse with Disposal - Long rinse cycle with disposal.
Water will run before, during, and after an approximate 15
second disposal cycle then turn off.
Extended Rinse with Disposal - Long rinse cycle with extended
disposal. Water will run before, during, and after a 3 minute
disposal cycle then turn off.

Short Rinse Cycle
Cycle Description: The short rinse cycle when activated will turn on
the water only. Water will run for approximately 5 seconds before
turning off automatically.
Light Feedback: When the unfilled circle icon is pressed, the user
interface light will only remain on while the icon is being pressed.
Activate Cycle:
Press and release the unfilled circle icon on the user interface to
activate a short rinse cycle.
Press either icon to stop the cycle early.

Long Rinse with Disposal
Cycle Description: When activated, this cycle will begin running the
water and disposal in the correct sequence and duration as
recommended for proper disposal use. Only water will run for
approximately 5 seconds. The disposal will then turn on with the
water continuing to run for approximately 15 seconds. After running
for 15 seconds the disposal will turn off. The water will continue to
run for an additional 4 seconds before turning off.
Light Feedback: When the filled circle icon is pressed, the user
interface light will remain lit for 1 second then blink until the cycle is
completed.
Activate Cycle:
Press and release the filled circle icon on the user interface to
activate a long rinse with disposal cycle.
Press either icon to stop the cycle early.

Extended Rinse with Disposal
This cycle is the extended version of the ″Long Rinse with Disposal″
cycle.
Cycle Description: When activated, only water will run for
approximately 5 seconds. The disposal will then turn on with the
water continuing to run for approximately 3 minutes or until the cycle
is interrupted by pressing an icon. The disposal will then turn off and
the water will continue to run for an additional 5 seconds before
turning off.
Light Feedback: When the filled circle icon is pressed, the user
interface light will remain lit for 2 seconds then turn off. If the icon is
released when the light goes off, the cycle will begin and the light will
blink until the cycle is completed.
Activate Cycle:
Press and hold the filled circle icon on the user interface; the
interface light will turn on. Release the icon when the user
interface light turns off (approximately 2 seconds) to activate the
extended rinse with disposal cycle. If the icon is not released
within 3 seconds, the cycle will not activate.
Press either icon to stop the cycle early.

performing any maintenance.

Care and Cleaning
For best results, keep the following in mind when caring for your
KOHLER product:
•Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area
before applying to the entire surface. Cleaners containing chloride
are not recommended.
•Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately
after applying cleaner. Rinse and dry any overspray that lands on
nearby surfaces.
•Do not allow cleaners to soak on surfaces.
•Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive
material such as a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces.
•Be careful not to leave staining materials in contact with the
surface for extended periods of time.
•The ideal cleaning technique is to rinse thoroughly and blot dry
any water from the surface after each use.

Warranty
ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
KOHLER plumbing products are warranted to be free of defects in
material and workmanship for one year from date of installation.
Kohler Co. will, at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate
adjustment where Kohler Co. inspection discloses any such defects
occurring in normal usage within one (1) year after installation. Kohler
Co. is not responsible for removal or installation costs. Use of in-tank
toilet cleaners will void the warranty.

FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Kohler Co. warrants that its electronic faucets, valves and controls will
be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal
residential use for five years from the date the product is installed.
This warranty applies only to electronic faucets, valves and controls
installed in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico (″North
America″).

If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will, at its
election, repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make
appropriate adjustment where Kohler Co.’s inspection discloses any
such defect. Damage caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not
covered by this warranty. Improper care and cleaning will void the
warranty*. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided
to Kohler Co. with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible
for labor charges, installation, or other incidental or consequential costs
other than those noted above. In no event shall the liability of Kohler
Co. exceed the purchase price of the faucet, valve or control.
If the electronic faucets, valves or controls are used commercially or are
installed outside of North America, Kohler Co. warrants that the
faucet, valve or control will be free from defects in material and
workmanship for one (1) year from the date the product is installed,
with all other terms of this warranty applying except duration.
If you believe that you have a warranty claim, contact your Home
Center, Dealer, Plumbing Contractor or E-tailer. Please be sure to
provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a
complete description of the problem, the product, model number, the
date the product was purchased, from whom the product was
purchased and the installation date. Also include your original invoice.

Vue d’ensemble du fonctionnement
Activation du système: Le système est activé et opérer uniquement par
l’interface de l’utilisateur. L’interface de l’utilisateur ne peut être

Activation non intentionnelle : Le système ne s’activera pas si les
deux icônes sont pressées en même temps. Le système s’arrêtera aussi
si une icône est pressée pendant plus de 3 secondes.
Arrêter l’activation: Toute icône pressée lors de l’opération du système
arrêtera le cycle courant. Si le broyeur est en marche, il sera éteint et
l’eau continuera à s’écouler pendant approximativement 5 secondes
avant la mise en arrêt. Si l’on appuie sur une icône deux fois pendant
que le broyeur et que l’eau sont en train de fonctionner, les deux
s’éteindront immédiatement.
Options de cycle de rinçage et broyeur:

Rinçage long avec broyeur

avec l’eau en écoulement continu pendant environ 3 minutes ou

secondes supplémentaires avant de s’arrêter.
