Before You Begin
Give special consideration to the exact location desired for your
faucet. This product is designed to give you the opportunity to be
creative and flexible with the installation.
Shut off the main water supply.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Site preparation and wall finishing may require additional tools and
materials.
Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of
faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

1. Prepare the Site
NOTE: The wall plate requires special framing and support
considerations. Pay special attention to minimum and maximum
faucet height recommendations noted in the roughing-in sheet.
Refer to the roughing-in dimensions for additional mounting
information.
A suggested framing example is shown. Each installation may have
different framing requirements than those shown.
Construct the framing for your installation.
2. Attach the Wall Plate
Make sure the framing is level and correctly installed.
Secure the wall plate to the framing using six fasteners #10 x 1″pan
head wood screws (not provided).

3. Install the Supplies
Install 1/2″hot and cold supply piping to the valve assembly.
Temporarily pull the plaster guards from the handle and spout
shanks. Do not discard them at this time.
Temporarily attach the faucet handles to the hot and cold valves.
Position a bucket in front of the spout, turn on the water supplies,
and slowly open the faucet handles, allowing the hot and cold water
to flow for one minute. Close the faucet handles and carefully
inspect the connections for leaks. Repair as needed.
Turn off the water supplies. Open the faucet handles to relieve water
pressure.
Remove the faucet handles and spout. Protect the finish by
returning the spout and handles to the carton. Re-attach the plaster
guards to the handles and spout shanks.
4. Finish the Wall
NOTE: To ensure proper fit and appearance, do not oversize the
spout and handle shank holes.
Complete the finished wall with three 1-1/2″diameter holes for the
spout and handle shanks. Space the hole centers 4″(10.2cm) apart.
Remove and discard the plaster guards when the finished wall is
complete.

5. Install the Spout
IMPORTANT! Use care when installing the spout to avoid
scratching the finish.
NOTE: Back the setscrew out of the spout or remove it to prevent
damage to the spout shank when installing the spout to the faucet
outlet port.
Insert the inlet end of the spout shank into the faucet outlet port.
Secure the spout assembly using the three provided screws.
Confirm that the O-ring is in the notch on the interior of the spout
escutcheon. Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to the back
surface of the spout escutcheon according to the putty
manufacturer’s instructions.
Carefully slide the escutcheon over the spout and install the spout
over the spout shank.
Tighten the setscrew to secure the spout in place.
Press the escutcheon firmly against the finished wall.
Remove any excess putty or sealant.

6. Install the Handles
To adjust the handle position, remove the handle assembly and turn
the spline adapter 1/4 turn. Re-install the spline adapter. Check the
handle position. The levers should be horizontal when the handles
are closed. Repeat the procedure until the proper handle position is
achieved.
Remove the handles. Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to back
surface of each handle escutcheon according to the putty
manufacturer’s instructions.
Securely tighten the handle assembly by tightening the handle
bonnet onto the threaded sleeve.
Press the escutcheon firmly against the wall.
Remove any excess putty or sealant.
7. Complete the Installation
Turn on the water supplies and check the installation for leaks.
Repair as needed.

Avant de commencer
Accordez une attention toute particulière à l’emplacement précis de
votre robinet. Ce produit offre au consommateur de multiples
possibilités d’installation.
Coupez l’arrivée d’eau principale.
Respectez tous les codes locaux de plomberie et de bâtiment.
Des matériaux addionnels pourraient être nécessaires pour la
préparation du site et la finition du mur.
La Société KOHLER se réserve le droit d’apporter toutes
modifications sur le design des robinets et ceci sans préavis, comme
spécifié dans le Catalogue des Prix.

1. Préparer le site
NOTE: L’applique murale nécessite un cadre et une structure
spéciale. Surveillez tout particulièrement les hauteurs minimales et
maximales du robinet mentionnées dans les dimensions
d’installation de la plomberie.
Reportez-vous au diagramme du raccordement.
Ce cadre est illustré à un titre d’exemple. Votre installation pourrait
nécessiter une structure différente que celle illustrée.
Construisez le cadre pour votre installation.
2. Installer l’applique sur mur
Assurez-vous que le cadre soit de niveau et installé correctement.
Fixez l’applique murale au montant avec six 10 x 1″vis à tête
cylindrique bombée (non fournies)

3. Installer les raccords
Installez les tuyauteries d’arrivée d’eau chaude et froide de 1/2″(Ø
3,04 cm) à l’ensemble du robinet. Retirez provisoirement les renforts
de plâtre des tiges, des poignées, et du bec. Ne pas jeter le renfort
de plâtre pour le moment.
Attachez temporairement les poignées - chaud / froid-àlavalve.
Positionnez une cuvette en face du bec, ouvrez les arrivées d’eau, et
tournez doucement les poignées du robinet tout en laissant l’eau
chaude et froide coulée pendant une minute. Fermez les poignées et
inspectez la tuyauterie de toutes fuites. Réparez si le besoin en est.
Fermez les arrivées d’eau. Ouvrez le robinet pour libérer la pression
de l’eau.
Retirez les poignées et le bec du robinet. Remettre la poignée et le
bec dans le carton d’emballage pour éviter d’en endommager la
finition. Re-attachez la protection en plastic aux poignées et à la tige
filetée du bec.
4. Terminez le Mur
NOTE: Pour assurez le bon positionnement et la finition de
l’ensemble, ne surdimensionnez pas les orifices destinés aux valves
et au bec.

Terminez le Mur (cont.)
Pour terminer le mur, percer trois trous de 1-1/2″(Ø 3,8 cm) pour y
passer les tiges fillettées du bec et des poignées. Écarter l’axe central
des trous de 4″(10,2 cm).
Retirez et jetez les renforts de plâtre après avoir terminé le mur.
