NOTE: Many of the features listed here can be adjusted, enabled or disabled using the remote. Specic
directions for these procedures are listed later in this manual.
Toilet
¨AutomaticFlushing-When enabled, this feature automatically ushes the toilet six seconds after the user
stands up or 60 seconds after standing user leaves (when ring is open).
¨AnimatedFlush- When animated ush is enabled, a graphic will appear on the remote detailing the progress
of the ushing process. The toilet arrives with this feature enabled.
¨FrontMotionSensor- When auto open/close is enabled, the lid may be opened without contact. Activating
the motion sensor by moving your foot before the toilet. The sensitivity of the front motion sensor, which
opens the lid, can be adjusted using the remote control. The toilet arrives with this feature enabled.
¨SideMotionSensor- The blue light on the right side of the toilet that is projected on the oor is designed to
allow the ring to be raised and lowered without touching the toilet. Break the beam of light using your foot to
open or close the ring.
¨Bidet-Front and rear wash, adjustable position, pressure, water temperature and pulsate, oscillate and wave
water action.
¨Dry-Warm air blows out from the wand, adjustable air temperature and pressure.
¨HeatedFeet- When activated, warm air emanates from the air outlet to warm the users feet.
¨Heatedseat- Adjustable seat temperature.
¨Deodorizer- Embedded deodorizer set.

¨SleepMode- The toilet can be programmed to conserve energy. The toilet arrives with this feature disabled.
¨ManualControls- Allows the user to control basic toilet features without the remote control.
Remote Control
¨RemoteControl- The wireless, touch activated, rechargeable remote control is used to control the toilet.
¨RemoteControlDockingStation- Wall mounted magnetic dock for the remote. Charges the remote when it
is docked.
¨RemoteControlSleepMode-The remote can be programmed to conserve energy. The toilet arrives with this
feature enabled, set for enter sleep after two minutes of no use.
¨BluetoothDeviceRemoteControlMode-Remote control can be exercised through dedicated Kohler APP
via Bluetooth device on Android system.
Lighting
¨AmbientLight- Located on the two sides of toilet, the ambient lights are available in a multitude of colors.
The factory default seing is white.
¨BowlLight- Located at the end of the bidet wand. This light can be set to be activated when the surrounding
is dim. The toilet arrives with this feature enabled.
¨WelcomeLight-When enabled, the ambient light will automatically turn on when the toilet is activated. The
toilet arrives with this feature enabled.
¨Night Light - The Ambient Light will automatically turn on in low light conditions when this feature
is enabled. The toilet arrives with this feature enabled.
Music and Sounds
¨Music - The toilet is equipped with FM radio, background music and music player. User can choose to
play audios from an external source or les saved in the Bluetooth device or the SD card.
¨WelcomeMusic-When enabled, welcome music will play upon activation of the toilet. The toilet arrives with
this feature enabled.
¨KeySounds-When enabled, sounds will help indicate the activation of some toilet functions.
¨AuxIn-Any type of standard auxiliary music player can be connected to one of the two locations on the
docking station or the back of the toilet through the presented aux-in cable. Music from the player can be
played on the toilet.
¨Bluetooth-User can play audio les via Bluetooth device. MP3 les can be transmied to SD card in the
machine via Bluetooth device with Kohler APP installed.
¨SDcard-This machine can support mainstream brand SD card with maximum capacity of 16G.
NOTE: Kohler is not responsible for the damage or loss of any data in the SD card.
Cleaning
¨AutomaticUVWandCleaning-UV wand cleaning can be programmed using your remote. This feature
comes enabled, scheduled to occur at 2 am every day.
Emergency Flush
¨BackupPower-When AC power fails, Press and hold the ush buon on the side panel for over 3 seconds to
enable emergency ush.

A. ush-eco-Activates a 0.6 (2.3 l) gallon ush for liquid waste.
B. ush-full-Activates a 1.28 (4.8 l) gallon ush for solid waste.
C. seat-Opens the cover and seat when both are closed, or seat only when the cover is already open.
D.cover-Opens the cover only or close seat when seat is already open.
E. close-Closes the cover and seat when both are open, or cover only when the seat is already closed.
F. rear-Takes the user to the rear bidet screen, where bidet water pressure, position and temperature can be
adjusted and activated.
G.front-Takes the user to the front bidet screen, where bidet water pressure, position and temperature can be
adjusted and activated.
H.dryer - Takes the user to the bidet dryer screen, where air pressure and air temperature can be adjusted
and activated.
I. heating-Takes the user to the heating screen, where the heated seat and foot warmer features can be adjusted
and activated.
J. music-Takes the user to the music screen, FM radio can be selected for listening to the radio. The background
music, the music from external audio sources, and the music in Bluetooth device or in the SD card can be
selected to play.
K. lighting-Takes the user to the lighting screen, The color and brightness of ambient lights can be adjusted.
L. users-Takes the user to the user preset screen, where personalized seings can be activated.
M.seings-Takes the user to the seings screen, where the user can change system seings and feature seings.
N.stop-Click “STOP” will stop the in-progress bidet, music, feet heating, the light will turn o unless night
light is on.
O.clock-Indicates current time.
P. userindicator-Indicates current user-preset seings.
Q.signalindicator-Indicates remote to toilet signal strength.
R. baeryindicator-Indicates remote baery remaining capacity.

¨PowerBuon-Turns the power on and o.
NOTE: Press the power buon to shut down the toilet. The remote controller connected with the toilet will
shut down, too. When the toilet is powered on again, the remote control will start up if put on dock.
¨AuxiliaryInput-Plug in any standard external music source to play the music through the speakers.
¨Deodorizer-The deodorizer reduces or eliminated unpleasant smells. When enabled it is activated when the
user sits down.
¨Speakers-Internal speakers.
¨SupplyHose-Water supply hose.
¨AirFilter-Filters air before it enters the blower for the bidet dryer and heated feet option. The lter should be
cleaned periodically.
¨ExternalSpeakerOutput-Allows additional speakers to be connected to the system.
¨ExternalFMAntenna-If radio receiver is in environment that the signal is not good, external antenna can be
used to improve the receiving capability.
¨RemoteDockPowerCord-Connect toilet and dock.
¨BaeryBox-User can replace the baeries to provide backup power for emergency ush when AC power
fails.
¨SDCardSlot-User can insert an SD card to play music in it.

Flushing Your Toilet
IMPORTANT! The ush for your toilet is unique. It is a two stage ush designed for superior performance while
using a small amount of water. It will seem as if your toilet is ushing twice. This is proper operation.
NOTE: When you receive your toilet, it is set to ush automatically. The toilet will ush automatically after
each use. The toilet will determine the appropriate ush type (ush-eco or ush-full) automatically. Refer to the
“Seing - Auto Open, Auto Flush, Deodorizer″ section for instructions on enabling or disabling the auto ush
feature.
NOTE: There are two ushing options. The [ush-eco] option uses 0.6 (2.3 l) gallons of water and is intended for
liquid removal. The [ush-full] option uses 1.28 (4.8 l) gallons of water and is intended for solid waste removal.
¨For liquid waste remove, select [ush-eco]. The ush takes approximately 30 seconds.
¨For solid waste removal, select [ush-full]. The ush takes approximately 45 seconds. There is a rst-stage
ush, the bowl is partially relled, and a second stage ush takes place.
Emergency Flush
When AC power fails, Press and hold the ush buon on the side panel for over 3 seconds to enable emergency
ush.

Using the Bidet Functions
Using the Front Bidet Wash
¨Select [front].
¨Select [on] to activate the front wash feature.
¨Move the [pressure] scroll bar up or down to adjust the water pressure.
¨Move the [position] scroll bar up or down to adjust the wand position.
¨Move the [temp.] scroll bar up or down to adjust the water temperature.
¨Select [o] or leave the toilet to stop this feature.
NOTE: The front wash will stop automatically in 2 minutes. For pulsate, oscillate and wave water action,
please follow the steps for “Adjusting the Spray” below.
Using the Rear Bidet Wash
¨Select [rear].
¨Select [on] to activate the rear wash feature.
¨Move the [pressure] scroll bar up or down to adjust the water pressure.
¨Move the [position] scroll bar up or down to adjust the wand position.
¨Move the [temp.] scroll bar up or down to adjust the water temperature.
¨Select [o] or stand up when done.
NOTE: The rear wash will stop automatically in 2 minutes. For pulsate, oscillate and wave water action,
please follow the steps for “Adjusting the Spray” below.

Adjusting the Spray
NOTE: When the bidet wand is oscillating, it may come in contact with the user. The user can sit further forward
to avoid their contact.
NOTE: When pulsate is selected, the bidet wand is stationary and the water emied from the bidet wand pulses.
When oscillate is selected, the bidet wand moves while a steady stream of water is emied.
¨Select [front] or [rear].
¨Select [options].
NOTE: When [wave] is selected, the water will pulsate and oscillate simultaneously.
¨Select [pulsate] , [oscillate] or [wave].
Using the Dryer
¨Select [dryer].
¨Select [on] to activate the dryer feature.
¨Move the [pressure] scroll bar up or down to adjust the air pressure.
¨Move the [temp.] scroll bar up or down to adjust the air temperature.
¨Select [o] or stand up when done.
NOTE: The heater will stop automatically in 4 minutes.

Using the Music Function
Playing the Radio
¨Select [music].
¨Use the up or down arrows an FM radio station. Holding or pressing arrow key will make it convert to
increasing or decreasing frequency rapidly.
¨To scan for radio stations, select [scan]. To scan frequency up press the up arrow then select [scan]. To scan
frequency down select the down icon then press [scan].
¨To save the station as a preset, hold one of the three preset buons (labeled [1], [2], or [3] ) down for three
seconds and select [yes] on the pop-up window.
¨To adjust the volume, move the volume scroll bar up or down.
Play an External Audio
¨Select [music].
¨Select [aux].
¨Select buon to play an external audio source.
NOTE: A music player utilizing any standard format can be used. An external audio source can be connected
to the base of the remote control or the external audio source input jack on the back of toilet through audio line.
¨Select buon to play the music in the Bluetooth device.
¨Select numi buon to play the background music preinstalled.
¨Select [on].

Playing the Audios from the SD Card
¨Select [muxic].
¨Select [SD].
¨Select buon to pause the music.
¨Select shuffle
buon to randomly playback music in the SD card.
¨Select repeat

¨Select buon to pause or start playing music.

¨Select off

NOTE: For best results, please set the volume of external player at medium level.
Adjusting the Bass, Treble and Balance
¨Select [music].
¨Select the [radio], [aux], or [SD] tab.
¨Select [options].
¨Select [toilet] for the internal speakers or [external] for external speakers.
¨To adjust the desired acoustic eect, move the bass or treble scroll bar up or down.
¨To adjust the balance of left and right channel, move the balance scroll bar up or down.

Using the Heating and Lighting Functions
NOTE: When the scroll bar is at its lowest position, the feature will turn o. When the scroll bar is moved
upward, the feature will activate.
Using the Heated Seat and Heated Feet
¨Select [heating].
¨Move the scroll bar for the [heated seat] option up to activate it.
NOTE: If the [heated seat] is left on, it will continuously keep the seat warm unless [power save] mode
is activated.
¨Move the scroll bar for the [heated seat] option up to activate it.
NOTE: Heated Feet feature will automatically time out after 15 minutes if no operation on it.
¨To stop either feature, move the scroll bar all the way down.
Using the Ambient Light
NOTE: The ambient light is located on the back panels of the toilet. The lights will automatically come on in low-
light conditions when [night light] is activated in the features.
¨Select [lighting].
¨Select [ambient light].
¨Select [default color] to set default color by choosing from “light color square”.
¨Select [by date] to set color for each day of the week.
¨Select [dynamic] to change the color of ambient lighting (8 in total) every 10 seconds.
Using the Brightness
¨Select [lighting].
¨Select [brightness].
¨Move the [bowl light] scroll bar to adjust the brightness of bowl lighting.
¨Move the [ambient light] scroll bar to adjust the brightness of ambient lighting.
NOTE: Located at the end of the bidet wand. This light can be set to be activated when the surrounding is dim.
¨Move the scroll bar all the way down to disable this adjustment feature.

Low Battery Warning for Backup Batteries
¨Under normal power supply, when the machine detects that the backup baery is running low, a message
will display to remind to replace baeries.
¨Press [OK] to close the window and replace the baeries in time.
NOTE: The message box will appear again only when the remote control is rebooted or re-paired with the toilet.

Creating a New User Prole
¨Select [users].
NOTE: Unused proles will not have a highlighted icons next to the prole.
¨Select a user prole (user 1-6) that is not in use by touching it or selecting [save as] and selecting the
appropriate radio buon.
¨Select the radio buon for your desired options. A check will appear in the radio buon when it is selected.
NOTE: To remove a selected item, select it a second time. The check will disappear, showing the selection is not
active.
¨Select [next].
¨Select the radio buon for the desired one touch start options. A check will appear in the radio buon when
it is selected.
¨Select [save].
¨The user screen will appear. The icons of your selected features will appear alongside the user prole you
created.
Changing a User Prole
¨Select [users].
¨Select [save as].
¨Select the desired user prole (user 1-6).

¨Adjust the [screen] scroll bar up or down.
¨Select [home] to return to the main screen or [back] to return to the previous screen.
Changing the On-Screen Language
¨Select [seings].
¨Select [system seings].
¨Select [languages].
NOTE: If the language you desire does not appear on the screen, move the scroll bar down to see additional
language options.
¨Select the radio buon for your desired language. The screen icons will immediately change.
¨Select [home] to return to the main screen or [back] to return to the previous screen.
