Install the Toilet Seat
 Removetheexistingtoiletseatandmountinghardware.
 Ifnecessary,cleanthetoiletsurface.
 Useangertolieachhingecover.
 Alignthetwoboltswiththetoiletseatmountingholes.
 Threadanutontoeachoftheboltsasshown.
 Verifythattheseatisproperlypositioned.
 Usingaat-bladescrewdriverandanadjustablewrench,tightenthenuts.
Donotovertighten.
 Closethehingecovers.

Operating the Toilet Seat
YourKohlertoiletseatisdesignedtocloseslowlywhentheseatisdropped.
Alwaysclosetheseatcoveraerusetoextendthelifetimeoftheseat.
Thetoiletseatalsohasaneasy-to-clean,quick-releasehingethatallowsthe
toiletseattobequicklyremovedforcompletecleaning.
Thehingecoversareeasilyliedusingangertip.Ifroomistight,pushthe
toiletseatbacktoeasethehingecoveroperation.
Oncethehingecoversarelied,pullthetoiletseatforwardleavingthe
mountinghardwareinplace.
Aercleaning,simplypushthetoiletseatbackintoplaceonthemounting
hardwareandclosethehingecovers.
Care and Cleaning
Thetoiletseatmaybecompletelyremovedforacompletecleaning,referto
the“Operation”section.
Cleantheoutsidesurfaceofyourtoiletseatwithmildsoap,suchasliquid
dishsoap and warm water. Wipetheentire surface completely dry with
acleansocloth.Donotuseanyabrasivecleaners,astheywillscratchand
dull the surface.Avoidanydetergents, disinfectants, or cleaning products
inaerosol cans.Avoidcontact with abrasivechemicals and cosmetics,
suchasngernailpolishandaershave,astheymay damagethenish of
yourtoiletseat.
