filetowrite.
(1)thefirstcontainsanumberofKEY file(filenameis421605-423143)copytothe burn tool
directory,run directoryinHDCP_Key_20080114.exefile,selectaKEYfile(421605-
423143),the following chart:
(2)ByKeyKEYOffsettosetthe cuttingstartposition(i.e., fromthe firstfewKEYbegan
cutting ),Output#istocutoutasingleKEYnumber (recommendedwhencutting the
number of< 1000).If you select"Output SingleFile"will output asingleKEYfile(thisoption
appliestoalargeKEYfiles(suchas10000)cutintoasmallernumberof(suchas1000)
KEYfile).Ifyouwanttocut intothe containingasingleKEYfile,then uncheckthe option.

(3) Afterthecompletionofinstallation,click theGenHDCPbutton,intherecordingfile
directorytogenerateanoutput_keys_0directory,directorywithapluralityofcontaininga
singleKEYfile.

(1) Toedit the configuration file,right clicktheburntoolfolderinthehdcptool.bat,select
"Edit",using atexteditor toopen thefile,setser following numericalintoserialdebugging
toolsport number (intheoperatingsystemofthe"devicemanager"-"port"view,different
computer portnumber maynotbethe sameasthe other ),keeping thedefaultcanbe
modified,saveandexit(thesamecomputer,witharecording toolusuallyneedsonly
once).
(2)IntheWindowsXP"start"menu,select"run","CMD"typeand"confirmation",enter
theDOScommandline mode.Type"CD \HDCPKeytool"and hitenter (assumingthe
burntooldirectoryinthe rootdirectoryofC),intothe"HDCPKeytool"directory.

(3) using aserialrecordingtoolconnected tothetelevisionmotherboardXS510 socket,
thetelevision starting,typehdcptoolandpress entertostartburning,burning time,
burningabout1~2S,afterthesuccesswill prompt"writesuccess",and indicatethe
burningtoKEYfilename.Ifthe"writefail"failureprompt, accordingtothedirection of the
keyboard keys"on the"outof hdcptoolcommand andpressagaintoburn again.

(4) writingiscompleted,unplug theburnline, change amachineinserted serialline,run
thehdcptoolcommandtoburn (donotneedtotype hdcptool,requiresonlythecursor
promptstatebydirectionkey"on"tomakeatypehdcptoolcommand ).Writesuccessful
KEYwill be automaticallydeleted,toensurethatthe sameKEYwon'tberepeated
burning.

(4) thewholeupgradeprocessabout 2minutes, during whichthe television cannot
upgrade power,success willautomaticallyrestartafter.
(5 )ifthe upgradefailed toTV doesnot start, mustthrough the serialporttothe burn tool
heavyfiring procedures(seeAppendixA ).
