INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place in the pond or garden as desired, the base needs to be level.
2. If placed in the water, carefully place the light so that the top of the unit is approximately
1 foot (30.5cm) below the water level. If the unit is placed too deep the brightness will
be reduced, the water depth should not surpass 0.5m (1.7ft). The lights direction is done
manually.
3. Connect the power supply cord from the light unit to AC 12V power adapter.
4. It must be connected to the power source indoors by permanently wiring to a RCD
(Residual Current Device) protected fuse fixed spur in accordance with the IEE Wiring
Regulations.
5. Ensure the cable is adequately protected by routing through conduit prior to connecting
to mains supply.

from the front of the unit. The unit should be turned off and allowed to cool down before
changing lenses.

CHANGING THE BULB
The light should be removed from the water and dried before replacing the bulb. The light
should also be unplugged. To start remove the lid by twisting counter clock wise as per
directional arrow. Remove lens, then gently remove the bulb from the base.
Replace with a new bulb by simply inserting the prongs
into the base of the light. Replace the lens and lid.
When closing the light it is important to ensure the bulb
in the light is perfectly centered. If the bulb is leaning to
one side it will heat that side and could cause a leak.
Reassemble the light and place back into the pond.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The Pond Glo Light Set requires minimal maintenance during the spring and summer
months, however, it must be brought inside during the winter months. This is to ensure the
light doesn’t crack over the winter. To bring the light in simply unplug the transformer and
remove the light from the pond. Dry all parts of the light and transformer and store in a dry
place.
INSERTING THE COLOURED LENS
To change the color of the light from white to another,
there are four colored lenses provided, select the
colored lens and gently insert it into the top of the light
assembly ensuring that the two grooves in the lens fit
