INSTALLATION:
1.Surround mustbe installedflushwithwall.Baseboards
willpreventproperinstallationofsurround.
Baseboardscan bealteredtofit surroundbycutting
thatpartwithin34 1/2”distancefromthewallcorner.
2.Surround mustbe attached toeitherawall stud orwall
anchor.Useatapemeasuretodeterminecorrect
heightfromfloortolocation of mountingstrips.(See
Figure1). Makesurepointofthe miterededgeof
mountingstriptouchesthe corner.Usealeveltoen-
suremountingstripsareevenlybalanced.
IMPORTANT:Failuretobalance mountingstrips
withalevelcouldresultinunevensurfaceson
fullyassembledsurround.
3.Fastenmountingstriptowall byinserting2" screws
providedalong thepredrilled holesofmountingstrip.
If predrilled holesofmounting stripdonotline up with
wall studs,drill newholeswherewallstudsareorat-
tachtowallwithwall anchors.(SeeStep4below.)
4.Tousewall anchors,drillholesatmarkedlocation
using 5/16”drill bit. Foldwall anchor(see Figure2)
and insert(wingsfirst)intohole.Tap anchorflushinto
wall.Forthinwalls,insertred keyintowall anchorand
pushto “pop”openanchorwings(seeFigure3).
5.Repeatstepsabovetoattachothermounting strips
towall.Makesuremiterededgesfit togethertoform
acleanjointinthecornerofthewall.

45degree angletoeachsidewall.Movethe assembled surroundtothe corner,with
sidepanelsclosetosidewalls.Movethefireplacetowhereitcanproperlyattachthe
surround.
7.Movethe surround away, markfloororwall behind fireplaceforgasline entrance.
Connectinletgaspipe.
IMPORTANT:Makesuretherearenoelectrical lines wheregas pipingwill go

8.Turnup the back ofmanteltop, the specialspring will lock the rearmanteltopin

9.Movethesurroundback.Setsurroundtopontopofmountingstripsandmantelfront.
