Firmware upgrade procedure for
generator 860 equipped with USB
service port
Main firmware upgrade:
1. Save the new firmware file to a memory stick formatted to FAT32. Do not change the name of
the file.
2. Plug the memory stick into the USB Service connector on 860.
3. Using the OSD Menu go to Setup -> Firmware Update submenu.
4. Select Yes and confirm by pressing Enter.
5. Wait until the upgrade procedure ends on the LCD display of 860.
6. In the Information Menu of the OSD, verify the correct version of the upgraded firmware.
Flash firmware (patterns and fonts) upgrade:
1. Save the new flash firmware file to a memory stick formatted to FAT32. Do not the change name
of the file.
2. Switch OFF power of 860.
3. Plug the memory stick into the USB Service connector on 860.
4. Press and hold the HDCP ON/OFF button on 860.
5. Switch ON power of 860.
6. Release the HDCP ON/OFF button and wait until the upgrade procedure ends on the LCD
display of 860.
