Correct application
• This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as:
> Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
> farm houses;
> by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments;
> bed and breakfast type environments .
• The tumble dryer is not intended for outdoor or
commercial use.
• It must be used only as a domestic appliance to
dry items which are specified by the manufacturer
as being dryable on the wash care label. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage
resulting from incorrect or improper use or operation.
• The tumble dryer may be used by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are
supervised whilst using it or have been shown how
to use it safely and recognise and understand the
consequences of incorrect operation.
Safety with children
• Children under 3 years of age must be kept away from
the appliance unless they are constantly supervised.
• Children 8 years and older may only use the tumble
dryer unsupervised if they have been shown how
to use it safely and recognise and understand the
consequences of incorrect operation.
• Children must not be allowed to clean or maintain the
tumble dryer unsupervised.
• Please supervise children in the vicinity of the tumble
dryer and do not let them play with it.
Technical safety
Please follow the instructions and observe the
technical data in the installation manual and technical
specification on pages 23, & 24 of this manual.
Before connecting the tumble dryer, ensure that
the information on the data plate (fuse rating,
voltage and frequency) match the mains electricity
supply. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
Reliable and safe operation of this appliance can
only be assured if it has been connected to the
mains electricity supply.
The electrical safety of this tumble dryer can only be
guaranteed when correctly earthed. It is essential
that this standard safety requirement is met. If
in any doubt, please have the wiring system of the
building tested by a qualified electrician. LAMONA
cannot be held liable for the consequences of an
inadequate earthing system (e.g. electric shock).
Do not connect the tumble dryer to the mains
electricity supply by a multi-socket adapter, extension
lead or similar. These do not guarantee the required
safety of the machine (fire hazard due to the risk
of overheating).
Before installing the tumble dryer, check it for
any externally visible damage. Do not install
or use a damaged machine.
Faulty components must only be replaced by genuine
original LAMONA spare parts. Only when these
parts are fitted can LAMONA guarantee the safety
standards of the machine.

Please read these instructions carefully. The manufacturer is not responsible if an incorrect installation and use
causes injuries and/or damage. Always keep these instructions with the dryer for future reference.
Please take appropriate care when installing, maintaining, cleaning and operating the tumble dryer.

The electrical socket must be easily accessible after
installation so that the machine can be disconnected
from the electricity supply if necessary.
If the electrical connection cable is faulty it must only
be replaced by a LAMONA Service Engineer to
protect the user from danger.
• Do not touch the appliance when hands or feet
are damp or wet.
• Do not lean on the door when loading the
machine or use the door to lift or move the
appliance.
• This tumble dryer MUST NOT be used in a non-
stationary location (e.g. on a ship).
The machine must be isolated from the
electricity supply when cleaning; during
maintenance and in the event of a fault.
• In areas which may be subject to infestation by
cockroaches or other vermin, pay particular attention
to keeping the machine and its surroundings in
a clean condition at all times. Any damage which
may be caused by cockroaches or other vermin
will not be covered by the warranty.
Correct use
• Do not install the tumble dryer in a room where there
is a risk of frost. Frozen hoses may burst or split.
The reliability of the electronic control unit may be
impaired at temperatures below freezing point.
Your product is designed to work at temperatures
between 15 - 35°C.
• Lint and fluff must not be allowed to collect on the
floor around the machine.
• Take care to ensure that foreign objects (e.g. nails,
pins, coins, paper clips) do not find their way into
the machine with the laundry. These may damage
components of the machine, it’s surroundings and the
laundry.
• Observe maximum load limits for laundry.
See page 15 for the maximum recommended

LAMONA Service Engineer, otherwise any
subsequent damage will not be covered by the
warranty.

instructions. LAMONA cannot be held responsible
for any damage resulting from other treatments.
• Always remove plug before cleaning the tumble dryer.

• Do not use solvent based cleaning agents, e.g.
those containing benzine, in or on this machine, as
this may result in damage to component parts and
create toxic fumes. Such agents also pose a fire
and explosion hazard.
• The dryer must have adequate ventilation; at
least a 12mm gap must be maintained between the
machine and any obstruction. The space between
the bottom of the dryer and the floor must not be
obstructed. Check regularly that airflow through
the dryer is not restricted.
• Do not dry unwashed items.
• Laundry that has previously been, soiled or
stained with petrol/gas, dry cleaning solvents or
other inflammable/combustive substances must
not be dried in the machine since they can emit
inflammable/combustive vapour.
• Laundry soiled with vegetable oil, alcohol, petrol,
gas, oil, stain remover, turpentine, wax or wax
remover must be washed with hot water and
detergent before drying.
• Rubber, (latex) foam, shower caps, waterproof fabrics
and rubber-reinforced / rubber-foam pillows and
footwear are not suitable for drying in this appliance.
• Do not dry clothes soiled with industrial chemicals.
• Do no use the appliance if the fluff filter is not
in position or is damaged. Fluff could be ignited.
• Fabric softeners, or similar products should be used
as specified by the fabric softener instructions.

This dryer contains R290 (inflammable eco-
sustainable refrigerating gas). Keep open flames and
sources of ignition away from the appliance. Due to
safety reasons, legislation forces a room of at least 1m3
per 8g of refrigerant for such equipment. For 110g the
minimum allowed room size would be 13.75m3

Cautions when using the dryer
• Do not use the machine to dry large laundry such as tulle, curtains, heavy blankets or rugs.
Your laundry may be damaged.
• Do not dry unwashed laundry in the machine.
• Underwear with metal supports must not be dried loose in the machine. Metal supports might come off during the
drying process and damage the machine. Place these garments in a bag or a pillowcase.
• Do not us the machine to dry leather clothes or clothes that contain leather (such as leather labels on jeans).
The colour of the leather parts might affect other fabrics.
• Do not overload the machine. Observe the maximum load levels stated for drying. See page 15.
• Do not let pets enter the product. Check inside the drum before using the appliance.
• Cool Down: Do not touch the drum or door area with bare hands after drying, these surfaces may become hot.
Temperature rise during operation may be in excess of 60°C.
• Do not stop the machine before the drying programme is completed. If you have to do so, remove all laundry, place
it in an appropriate place and wait for it to cool down. The dryer’s final stage is cooling. This keeps the laundry at a
certain temperature to ensure that it is not damaged.
If the drying programmes are interrupted (due to programme cancellation or power failure), the
laundry in the machine might be hot. Be careful.
If there is a problem you cannot solve by reading these instructions; switch off and unplug the machine and call the
Authorised Service Agent.

Easy Iron (Anti Crease).
• Starts anti-crease drum movements to prevent creases forming. Movements occur every 10 minutes (up to a
maximum of 6 hours). Useful when it is not possible to unload laundry immediately.
• To stop this function, turn the dial to OFF.
Drying Selection.
Sets the required dryness level. This can be made up
to 5 minutes after the start of a drying cycle.
After selection, to reset the automatic drying function,
switch the dryer OFF.
• If a programme is incompatible.

Delay Start Button.
• Allows delaying programme start from 30 minutes to 24 hours in 30 minute intervals (1 hour on some models).
The delay selected is shown on the display.
• After pressing ; the time shown begins to count down towards the programme start.
If you open the door with the delayed start set; after re-closing, press again to resume the countdown.
Time selection.
• Allows changing a cycle from automatic to manual timed, up to 3 minutes after the start of the cycle.
• Successive presses increases the time in 10 minutes intervals.
• A low tone indicates the current programme is incompatible.
After selection; to reset the automatic drying function, switch off the dryer.
Memory Button.
• Permits storage of options set for a cycle.
• To store: Select a programme and desired options, then press Memory.
• To recall: After cycle selection, press the memory button to recall the stored options (not the cycle).
Child Lock
• Blocks unwanted or accidental changes to a ‘programme cycle’ during operation.
• To activate : Push buttons 4+5 together for 2 seconds. “CHILD LOCK ON” is displayed.
• To deactivate: Push the two buttons again together to unlock. “CHILD LOCK OFF” is displayed.
• If the door is opened with child lock activated, the cycle stops but the lock remains on.
To restart the cycle you must deactivate child lock and press again.
When the dryer is off, the option is automatically deactivated.
‘Child Lock’ can be changed at any time during the cycle.

Before using the dryer for the rst time
Please read this booklet thoroughly.
Wipe inside the drum and door with a damp cloth, removing any
dust that may have settled.

Switching on and setting the language
Once a programme is selected, the dryer turns on. All LEDs light momentarily and welcome music plays.
(Note: this cannot be turned off). Use the following steps to change the language. Once set, the digital
display shows the currently selected programme information.
WARNING: Do not touch the buttons while
inserting the plug because the machine
calibrates its systems during these first seconds,
touching the buttons may prevent the dryer
operating properly In this case, remove the plug
and repeat the operation.
Remove items packed inside the drum
Press together for approx. 5 seconds to access language list.
With power connected:
Select a programme.
Then, use to scroll through the available options.
Press to confirm your selection.

Environmentally friendly drying.
• Only put laundry into the dryer that has been thoroughly wrung / spin-dried. The drier the laundry; the shorter
the drying time - saving electricity!
• Always check that both filters are clean before every drying cycle.
• Never put dripping wet items into the dryer, this may damage the appliance.
• Do not open the door during the drying cycle, this will extend drying time.
• The ‘COTTON DRY’ programme is the standard drying programme that can be
run with full or half load and for which the information is given on the label and
product receipt. This programme is the most energy efficient programme to dry
normal wet cotton clothes. Energy labelling standard programme (EN 61121:2013)
Preparing the laundry
Items, unsuitable for tumble drying:
• Wool, silk, nylon items.
• Delicate embroidery.
• Fabrics with metallic decoration.
• Garments with PVC / leather trimmings.
• Footwear.
• Fabrics containing glass fibre.
Items soiled with the following must be washed thoroughly in
hot water and detergent before tumble drying.
• Alcohol.
• Petrol or gas.
• Stain remover.
• Turpentine.
• Wax remover.

Sorting the laundry
1Sort by care symbols
Using the care symbols found on the collar or inside each garment; identify items that cannot be tumble dried
and sort the remaining laundry according to recommended tumble drying programmes.
Suitable for tumble drying
Tumble drying at high temperature
Tumble drying at low temperature
Do not tumble dry.
2Sort by thickness
Where a load is bigger than the dryer’s capacity; separate the items according
to thickness. E.g. separate towels from thin shirts and underwear.
3Sort by fabric
Fabric Type Description
Cottons / Linens Towels, cotton, jersey, bed and table linen.
Synthetics Blouses, shirts, overalls etc. made of polyester or polyamide; as well as cotton and
synthetic mixes.
Check garments for foreign objects
Foreign objects can cause damage to garments and components in this machine.
Before loading the tumble dryer...
• empty all pockets;
• close zips and fasteners;
• turn articles inside out.

Loading the tumble dryer

• Check the drum for pets and foreign objects before
loading with laundry.
• Do not lean on the door when loading the drum.
• Place clothes loosely into the drum.
• Mixing both large and small items helps distribute
the load evenly during tumble drying.
• Put very small or thin items into
a drying bag or pillowcase.
Bulky loads can lead to the door opening. If this occurs, reduce the load, close the door, then
press to continue the cycle.
3Close the door
Reach behind the door grip
and pull the door open.
Do not overload the drum.
Do not slam shut.
Ensure there are no garments caught in the door.

Load dryness is sensed toward the end of the
drying cycle. The remaining time displayed may
not reflect actual duration. THIS IS NOT A FAULT.
Selecting programmes & setting function
Quick Start
Turn the programme selector dial to select the required drying programme (See Programme Guide, page 15).
• 
• If the door is opened during the programme, press to recommence drying after the door has been
closed. The door handle, drum and load may be hot if you open the door mid-cycle.
When the cycle is complete, is shown. The drum will rotate alternately to minimise creasing,
if anti crease is selected.
After drying, turn the dryer off by rotating the dial to the off position then remove the load.

When a programme nears completion, the dryer will enter the ‘cool down’ phase. The garments
are tumbled in cool air to allows them to cool down. This also ensures they are left at a temperature

This cycle minimises tangles and folds thanks to specic drum
movements. Recommended: Take out linens immediately after
the drying cycle.

Woollens
Dries up to 1kg of laundry (around 3 jumpers). Recommended:
Reverse all items before drying. Timings can vary due to
dimensions and thickness of load and the spin speed chosen
during washing. At the end of the cycle, items are ready to
be worn but heavier items may be wet at edges; dry these
naturally. Recommended: Unload clothes at the very end
of the cycle. Note: Felting process of wool is irreversible;
please dry exclusively clothes with symbol “OK to tumble”. This
programme is not suitable for acrylic clothes. See Page 12.

Anti-allergy A special cycle that dries and reduces the main allergens, such
as dust mites, pet hair, pollen and detergent residues. 3
Pre-Iron This is a warm cycle that in only 12 minutes helps to relax folds
and creases. 2
Refresh The perfect cycle to remove odours from linens while also
smoothing out creases. 2

The real duration of a drying cycle depends upon the starting humidity level of the laundry due to spin
speed, type, load capacity, cleanliness of the filters and ambient temperature.
Actual drying time is determined during the cycle; it will vary due to;
• drying level selected
• size of load
• fabric type
• initial water saturation
• ambient temperature
• filter cleanliness
If a programme is stopped before the end of
the drying cycle, quickly remove and spread
out the items to allow the heat to dissipate.

Delay Start
This function allows you to delay the programme start (from 30 minutes up to 24 hours in 30 minute intervals).
Select a compatible drying programme.
Press to set the delay time.
The delay start function cannot be memorised with the memory function.
Drying Selection
This function allows you to select the level of dryness for the programme. It can be set before, or up to 3 minutes
after starting a programme cycle. The dryer the drying selection, the longer the drying time.

Allows you to switch to a manually set drying time for the selected programme, (Ideal for memory selection).
Anti Crease (Easy Iron)
Toggles the anti-crease function on / off. When on...
• it sets the drying selection level to “Ready to Iron”.
• the dryer rotates the drum every 10 minutes (up to 6 hours) both pre-cycle (if Delay Start is used) and after
end of the drying cycle.
This can be activated before or during compatible programmes.

Child Lock
• This function blocks unwanted changes to options already set during the drying phase.
• Child lock can be toggled ( locked / unlocked) at any time during the cycle.
To activate Child Lock
To deactivate Child Lock:

• The display shows The settings are unlocked.
• Switching the dryer OFF will deactivate Child Lock.
Memory
This function stores all the options set for the currently selected programme.
This can save time if you use a particular programme and options regularly.
Pausing a programme

Gently pull the container
up and out.
Hold the container handle. Tilt to empty through the spout
until empty.
Replace the container.

Care and maintenance
Ensure the dryer is correctly ventilated
Do not use this machine if it appears to be faulty.
• Check regularly that airow through the dryer is not restricted.
• Prevent items falling and collecting behind the dryer. This may obstruct the air inlet and outlet.
• Please ensure that any fluff and lint are removed from all accessible areas, including the floor.

Cleaning the inner door, seal and drum
To prevent the door sticking and build-up of fluff;
• after each use, wipe the inside of the drum and leave the door open for
a while to allow air to circulate.
If necessary...
• clean the drum using a suitable cleaning agent; following the
manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.
• clean the door seal/gasket after every cycle with a damp cloth or
gently vacuum.
Do not use abrasive pads.
1Clean the casing and control panel with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
2Dry with a soft cloth.
Solvent based cleaning agents, abrasive cleaners, glass cleaners or
multi-purpose cleaning agents can cause damage to plastic surfaces
and other parts. Do not use any of these cleaning agents.
WARNING: The dryer is not to be used if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning.
Risk of damage due to water ingress. Do not clean the dryer with a water jet. The pressure of a water jet can
cause water to get into the tumble dryer, resulting in damage to components.
