Note: Before assembling the bolts to the support legs, it is recommended that a light oil or
petroleum jelly be applied to the bolt threads.
1. Place the bench upside down on packing material, on a level surface.
2. Place the 3/8” washers and bolts through the outside of the casting. See Diagram
#2. Keep the nut and second washer off.
3. Align the support legs holes with the holes in the bench, as shown in Diagram #1.
4. Thread the bolts through the bench holes, adding on a second washer and then a
nut, leaving it finger tight.
5. Add the cross braces to the assembly using the 5/16” bolts. Align the hole on the
tab that sticks out of the support leg and the cross brace on the bench. See
diagram #3
6. Again, put a washer on each side, insert the bolt, and put on the nut, leaving it
finger tight.
7. Turn the bench and support assembly right side up.
8. Level the bench.
9. Tighten all hardware (KEEP THE HEAD OF THE BOLT STATIONARY AND
TIGHTEN THE NUT – THIS WILL HELP TO AVOID SCRATCHING THE
FINISH ON THE SUPPORTS). Retighten the hardware two weeks after initial
assembly.
