1. Introduction
This User Manual is written for all users who want to install LPMVC-CL025M.
Please read carefully and follow the instructions described below.
1.1.Acknowledgements
‘Laon People’is a registered brand by Laon People Inc.
1.2.Warranty
The warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase.
We can provide free repairs for faults occurred in the normal usage.
If the faults are occurred in the following reasons, users must pay for the
repairs.
-In case of a fault, due to the carelessness of the customer
-In case of a fault, due to a natural disaster (fire, earthquake, flood, lightning etc.)
-In case of a fault, due to over use of the power
-In case of a fault, due to the failures of the connected devices
-In case of a fault, due to the customer's own product repair and alteration
The retention period for the repair parts are 2 years.

2. Precaution
2.1.General Caution
Please read this User Manual very carefully before using the Camera.
Our warranty does not include the damages or defects caused by irregular
or abnormal use of the camera.
Do not remove the serial number label.
Do not damage, disassemble, repair or alter the device.
Do not place the device next to heating equipment.
Do not use the device for any other purpose then specified.
Do not install the device in a place subject to direct sun light, humidity,
dust.
Do not place the product near magnets.
Be careful not to let liquid like water, drinks or chemicals leak inside the
device.
Keep the device cover the lens cap when not in use.
Inquire to the dealer when problems or symptoms arise.

2.2.Installation Caution
Do not install the camera in a place subject to sun light, humidity, and dust.
Do not place the camera nearby strong electromagnetic fields.
Do not use the camera in a place subject to unstable lighting condition, strong vibration.
Switch off all power before camera movement or installation.
2.3.Power Supply Caution
It is recommended to use 12V DC ±10%, over 1A of output current.
If the input power is higher than the 16V DC, it may cause damage to the camera.
Do not reverse the polarity of the input power to the camera.
The camera and the capture device must share the same electrical ground.

3. Camera Specification
3.1.Overview
The LPMVC-CL025M is an industrial Area Scan Camera that offers high-performance in a
compact design.
The LPMVC-CL025M is a high-resolution camera that can transfer 25M Pixel high-
resolution at a rate of 30fps(10Tap) / 25fps(8tap) / 12fps(4tap) / 6fps(2tap) speed by
applying Camera Link Interface and 10-Tap/8-Tap/4-Tap/2-Tap Full Configuration Mode.
The camera is suitable for a variety of applications, such as factory automation and
High-end surveillance, medical.
LPMVC-CL025M is consists of Main body and F-Mount.
User can purchase the Power Adaptor and Tripod Mount Plate additionally.

4. Camera Interface
4.1.General Description
LPMVC-CL025M camera connects and communicates with external equipment through
the following 4 connectors, and LPMVC-CL025M indicates the status of the camera by
the camera’s rear LED.
①Camera Link Connector 1 : 26-Pin Mini D Ribbon (MDR) female connector used to
transmit image data, control data, and configuration data.
②Camera Link Connector 2 : 26-Pin Mini D Ribbon (MDR) female connector used to
transmit image data.
③Status LED : Dual-Color LED used to display power, camera operation status.
④JTAG Connector : USB Micro-B Type connector, But pins of connector are connected
to JTAG of FPGA
⑤I/O Connector : 4-Pin Push-Pull female connector used to external trigger input and
strobe output
⑥Power Connector : 6-Pin Push-Pull male connector used to provide power to the
camera.

LPMVC-CL025M applied 3M’s 26-pin, female, 1.27㎜MDR Camera Link Connector.
Applied Camera Link Connector observes the Camera Link Standard.
Figure 6 & Table 2, 3 shows the number of each pin and specific descriptions of the
Camera Link Connector.
