Instruction Guide
The GL-52893 Golight Stryker is designed for use in all weather conditions and
produces 3000 lumens of intense light output. These units feature remote
control operation that allows users to rotate the light 370 degrees with a hard stop and to
adjust vertical tilt through 135 degrees. Remote operation is provided by a wireless
hand held remote control. The hand held remote measures 3 inches long by 2 inches
wide by 3/8 inch thick.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
This light mounts using a detachable design with a separate permanent mount interlocking stainless steel
mounting plate that is affixed to the mounting surface. The mounting plate is attached with 3 screws through
predrilled holes which secure the plate to the mounting surface. The Golight Stryker attaches to the mounting
plate via an interlocking base bracket and a single machine screw which secures the Golight to the mounting
plate.
Note: Once power is applied to the system the light will pan and tilt prior to illumination. Each
spotlight needs to be wired on a single dedicated circuit and the power fused at 5 amps. With the power
connected, your light is ready for operation.
POWER SUPPLY
On this particular model, the light ends in a 1 foot pigtail with stripped and tinned leads. The operator is
responsible for providing the wiring from the battery and/or fuse box to the light. 16 AWG is recommended.
OPERATION OF SPOTLIGHT
1. Using the remote control, turn on the light by depressing the on/ off button.
2. With the arrows on the wireless control, rotate your light to the desired location.
3. The speed of the light rotation can be controlled by depressing the fast/slow button one time and by
depressing it again to restore the original speed.
BATTERY INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL FOR TRANSMITTER Remove battery cover: for
wireless hand-held transmitter, remove phillips head screw to remove cover. With battery
compartment now exposed, insert GP 23A 12V batteries according to the correct polarity or gently remove
batteries by grabbing the positive end and lifting up.
PROGRAMMABLE REMOTE INSTRUCTIONS
The Light is controlled with a programmable remote with 2187 different channels. This feature allows
you the freedom to change the channel selection, and the receiver re-learns the new selection. This
light has been pre-programmed at the factory, and it is not necessary to re-program the transmitter, unless
you experience outside interference.
To program transmitter:
1. IMPORTANT Disconnect power.
2. Remove battery cover from remote control.
3. Set the 7 dip switches to a selection of your choice. There are 3 positions on each; positive,
negative and neutral. Use a small screwdriver and select a position for each dip switch.
*Please note that the orientation of the +/- switch positions may vary among different models
of wireless remote controls.
4. Insert both GP 23A 12V batteries. Be sure batteries have adequate charge.

5. Replace battery cover.
a. Depress the on/off button and hold it down. Red LED will light.
b. While holding the on/off button down, reinstall the power (replace fuse or connect
vehicle battery).
c. Keep on/off button depressed for 5-6 seconds, and then release. The light should now
be programmed.

This light is intended to be mounted outside the vehicle while in use
This light may only be disassembled and repaired by an authorized representative
MISUSE:
This light is not approved for road or highway use
This light is not approved for underwater use
This light is not approved for inverted mounting
This light is not approved for use inside a vehicle or enclosure and power should be
disconnected prior to placing the light in such circumstance
This light may be damaged if operated in icing conditions
This light may only be dismantled by an authorized representative
Any violation of the above referenced misuses will be considered grounds for warranty
refusal
Lens installation (if applicable):
Press the flood lens up against your Golight until it clicks in place. Press all edges
to ensure the lens is securely attached flush with the Golight lens.
To remove the flood lens, pull two edges until the lens releases from the Golight. Store in a safe
place.
Note: Ensure the lens lines up properly. Do not force the lens as this could cause damage to the
lens and/or Golight
If the lens becomes dirty, wash with a mild soap and water.
