INTRODUCTION
Introduction
Thank you for purchas ng the SKP-BT206 w reless speaker w th duo opt on. Th s speaker can
be used as a mono speaker pa red to any dev ce w th a Bluethooth aud o feature, such as
mob le and smart phones as well as Bluetooth enabled tablets. It can also be pa red w th a
second SPK-BT206 speaker (sold separately) for true w reless stereo sound.

GETTING STARTED
Check the contents of the box and make yourself fam l ar w th the controls and nputs of the
SPK-BT206
Charging the Speaker
Wh le the SPK-BT206 may have some charge, we recommend that when charg ng the SKP-
BT206 for the f rst t me t s left to charge overn ght. Subsequent charg ng w ll take far less
t me to complete.
Us ng the ncluded m cro USB cable, connect the small end to the DC-Input on the rear of
the speaker and connect the other to a powered USB port on a PC, Laptop or AC to USB
charger.
When charg ng the Charg ng LED on the rear of the speaker w ll l ght red. When the speaker
s fully charged the LED w ll go out.

GETTING STARTED
CONNECTING THE SPEAKER
Connecting the Speaker
Pairing the Speaker
1) Press and hold the power button on the rear of the speaker for 3 to 4 seconds unt l a
tone s heard from the speaker. Th s nd cates the speaker s now turned on.
2) Press and hold the Pa r ng key for 2 seconds unt l a short tone s heard and the
pa r ng key starts flash ng rap dly blue.
3) Turn on a compat ble dev ce and connect to the SPK-BT260 through the dev ces
Bluetooth menu as descr bed n the dev ces user manual.
Reconnecting
Once the speaker has been pa red to a dev ce, t s pa red to that dev ce unt l t s pa red to
another.
To reconnect to a pa red dev ce, ensure the Bluetooth feature on the dev ce s on and turn
the speaker on. The dev ce should automat cally connect to the speaker.
Audio Playback
1) Select an aud o track to play as normal on your dev ce and press play on the dev ces
app or software.
2) Volume and playback can be controlled on the dev ce as per normal.
Speaker Controls
Pause/Play
Playback can be paused by tapp ng the Play/Pause button on the front of the speaker. Press
aga n to resume playback.
Volume Control
Volume can be adjusted be tapp ng the Volume Up Button (+) or Volume Down Button (-) on
the front of the speaker. The speaker w ll speak the phrase “Volume down” when the
Volume Down Button (-) s pressed speak the phrase “Volume up” when the Volume UP
Button (+) s pressed. The phrase “Max mum” w ll be spoken when the volume s up as far as
t w ll go.

TURNING THE SPEAKER OFF
Turning the Speaker off
To turn the speaker off, press and hold the Power button on the rear of the speaker for 3 to
5 seconds unt l the Pa r ng key turns red. Release the power button and the speaker s now
off.
Connecting a Second Speaker
Connecting left and right speakers
A second SPK-BT206 (sold separately) can be added to prov de stereo sound.
1) Makes sure that both speakers are turned off.
2) Select a speaker and press and hold the power button on the rear of the speaker
unt l the pa r ng key starts flash ng green. The speaker w ll also start beep ng. Th s s
normal.
3) Select the second speaker and press and hold the power button on the rear of the
speaker unt l the pa r ng key starts flash ng green. The speaker w ll also start
beep ng. Th s s normal.
4) The pa r ng keys on both speakers w ll cont nue to flash green for about 30 seconds
unt l pa red to each other. The Pa r ng key on both speakers w ll flash blue when they
are connected.
Pairing and audio device to the matched speakers
1) Tap the “M” button on the front of the speaker. Each speaker w ll state e ther “Left
Channel” or “R ght Channel”. When used as a s ngle speaker tapp ng the “M” button
w ll return the phrase “Standalone Mode”.
2) Pa r ng an aud o dev ce can only be done us ng the left speaker. Press and hold the
Pa r ng key for 2 seconds unt l a short tone s heard and the pa r ng key starts
flash ng rap dly blue.
3) Turn on a compat ble dev ce and connect to the SPK-BT260 through the dev ces
Bluetooth menu as descr bed n the dev ces user manual.

SPEAKER CONTROLS
Speaker Controls
Pause/Play
When 2 speakers are used, playback can be paused by tapp ng the Play/Pause button on the
front of e ther speaker. Press aga n to resume playback.
Volume Control
Volume can be adjusted be tapp ng the Volume Up Button (+) or Volume Down Button (-) on
the front of e ther speaker. The speaker w ll speak the phrase “Volume down” when the
Volume Down Button (-) s pressed speak the phrase “Volume up” when the Volume UP
Button (+) s pressed. The phrase “Max mum” w ll be spoken when the volume s up as far as
t w ll go.
Volume can be adjusted on each of the speakers to set the correct level and balance to
accommodate where the speakers are located. The volume control on the connected dev ce
can then be used as the master volume.
CONNECTING THE 3.5MM AUX CABLE.
Dev ces can be connected to a s ngle speaker only us ng the suppl ed 3.5mm to 3.5mm aux
nput cable.
Before connect ng the cable to speaker, please ensure that the volume on the connected
dev ce s lowered to about half before playback.
Connect ng the Aux nput cable to speakers that connected w ll d sconnect the other
speaker.
The volume controls on the speaker can be used although no aud ble response w ll be g ven.
The “M” button and the play/pause buttons are d sabled when the Aux nput cable s used.

mater als and workmansh p for 12 months, from the date of purchase, prov ded that the
product s used n accordance w th accompany ng recommendat ons or nstruct ons where
prov ded. The benef t of th s warranty s n add t on to your r ghts under the Austral an
Consumer Law and to other r ghts and remed es of the consumer under a law n relat on to
the goods or serv ces to wh ch the warranty relates.
Through a network of reta lers and resellers, Laser w ll prov de you w th your cho ce of a
refund, repa r or exchange (where poss ble) for th s product f t becomes defect ve w th n
the warranty per od. Th s warranty w ll no longer apply where the defect s a result of
alterat on, acc dent, m suse, abuse, normal wear and tear, neglect or mproper storage.

How to make a product warranty cla m:
Step 1: F nd your rece pt wh ch proves the date of purchase. Where the date of purchase
cannot be ver f ed, your place of purchase or Laser w ll make an assessment based on the
date of manufacture, the cond t on of the Laser product and the type of defect.
Step 2a): Contact your place of purchase. They w ll assess the nature of the fault and refund
or replace the product as per the r store refund or warranty pol cy.
Step 2b): If your place of purchase cannot be contacted, then you can contact Laser

nspect on, we w ll nform you of our assessment of your cla m w th n 7 days. When we
contact you, we w ll f rstly let you know whether you have a val d cla m under th s Warranty,
and f so, we w ll nform you whether your defect ve Laser product w ll be replaced or
repa red, together w th the number of days you can expect to wa t to rece ve your replaced
or repa red Laser product.
