Operation
Principles
Paintboothiscomposed ofpaint spraying/bakingrooms,hotwind generators, and electriccontroller.
PaintSpraying
During sprayingpaint,the twomainblowersdraw inwardthefreshairfromthe airintake(Figure1),eliminating thebig
grainsofdustwhen the freshairpassesthroughthe firstfilters(Figure2),and then the freshairissenttothegas
chambersatthe topofbaking rooms.Thefreshairafterbeingfilteredcleanbythe filtercotton flowsdownfromthetop,
and itwillbedischarged outofthe baking roomfromthe grates(Figure3)totheground platform(Drawing4).During
theprocess,the baking roomwill maintainpositivepressureall along tokeepthedustfromcomingin.

During baking,usetheautomaticallycontrolled burnertoigniteand increasetemperature,andthe twomainblowers
draw inward “cold”airwhichislaterheated up whenpassingthroughtheheat exchangers.At thistime,the isopened.
Apart ofhot airflowentersintothe baking room, andthe remaining hotairflowwill pass through the recycling damper
and blend withthe “cold”aircomingfromthe airintake(Figure1)and thesecompound airreentersintothe heat
exchangerstobe heatedup. Theseproceduresabovearerepeated and theairwillbeheatedcontinuously. When the
temperaturereachesaset valueforbaking,thebakingroomwillautomaticallykeep sohigh.

1.Key Switch
Afterthekeyswitchesareopen,the twomainblowersareactivated.At thesametime,connectthecontrolpower
supply,and then theoperation indicatorlampofthe blowerilluminates.
2.LightingSwitch
Turnon thelighting lampatthe back booth.
3.Ignition Switch
When the temperatureindicatorand the timeindicatoraresetinacertainvalue,and the ignition switchismovedwith
handtothebakingposition, theairdoorwill automaticallyopen tothe horizontalposition and the burneralsoactivates.
When the ignition switchismoved withhand tothe heating sprayposition,and the airdoorisclosed,theburner
activates.Atthesametime, theignition indicatorlampofthe burnersilluminates.
4.ResetSwitch
Pushtheseswitchestoreset theworkingtime.
5.Timer
Usedtosetbakingtime,it willautomaticallyturnoff the burnerwhen thesetting timeisup.The detailedproceduresfor
setting baking timeareasfollows.
Movethetimeswitchon thepaneloftimeindicatorsto “Minute”and “Second”position,and then turnthe digitalswitch
tosetadesiredtime,the timeindicatorwillbegintoworkfromzeroposition afterthe resetbuttonsbeing pressed. For
example,setthe numbersas4588,whichmeansthatthe baking timeis45minutesand88seconds.
6.Thermograph
Usedtocontrolthe temperatureofthebakingroom,itcan automaticallyturnoff theburnerswhen the temperatureof
thebakingroomreachesthe setting value.The detailedproceduresforsetting baking temperatureareasfollows:

Movethefunctionswitchwithhand tothe “setting”position,turntheknobs,and thevalue on the temperatureindicator
showstherealtemperatureinside the bakingroom.(Ifyou want60℃:movethefunction switchwithhand tothe
“setting”position,turnthe knobsuntilthe value of60℃appears,andthen turnthe functionswitchback tothe
“measure”position. Thevalue onthe temperatureindicatorshowsthe realtemperatureinsidethebakingroom.When
thetemperaturereaches60℃,thebakingroomwillautomaticallyturnoff theburner,and when the temperatureis
lowerto60℃,thebakingroomwillautomaticallyswitchon theburnerandtheburnerwillbeignitedtoincreasethe
temperature.
lTheThermograph Setting Desired Value byNumber-dialing Switch:
Movethedigitalnumber-dialing switchwithhand toadesired value,thenumberon thetemperatureindicatorshows
therealtemperatureinside thebakingroom.
Notice:Thenumber-dialingswitchhasthreedigits.Forexample,ifyou want60℃,you need tosetthe numberswith
theswitchas060.Whenthetemperaturereaches60℃,the bakingroomwill automaticallyturnoff theburner,and
whenthetemperatureislowerto60℃,thebaking roomwillautomaticallyswitchonthe burnerand the burnerwillbe
ignited toincreasetemperature.
7.PowerSupplyIndication Lamp
Thislampilluminateswhenexternalpowersupplyisinput intotheelectriccontrolpanel.
8.OperationIndicationLampofBlower:
Thislampilluminateswhenthe blowerruns.
9.Ignition IndicationLamp:
Thislampilluminateswhenthe burnerisignited toincreasetemperature.
10.MalfunctionIndicationLampofBurner:
Thislampilluminateswhenthe burnercouldn’t be ignited.

1.Operation ProceduresofPaintSpraying:
lCleanthe innerpartsofthe paintbooth(including
wallboardand the filtercotton atthe top ofbaking
room)andthe automobiles.
lClosetightlythe doorsofthe baking room,startthe
blowerandthe aircompressor,turnon the lighting
lamp,and blowfromthetop downwith
compressedairtheinside ofthe bakingroomand
the automobileisreadytobesprayed.
lAfterfinishing the abovecleaningwork,the paint
sprayisreadytostart. Iftheambienttemperature
isbelow20℃,movethe ignitionswitchwithhand
tothe heating spraying paint position toensurethe
temperatureinthe baking roomisabove20 in
ordertoensurethe painthasgood fluidity.
2.Operation ProceduresofPaintBaking
lCheck toseeifthe gasolineinthe oiltankis
enough.
lCheck toseeifthe thermograph andthe timerare
inthe setting valueforbaking (Notice:Makesure
the settingtemperatureisnotlowerthan the
ambienttemperatureand the setting timeisabove
zero).
lMovethe ignition switchwithhandtothe baking
position,and the burnersignites.Whenthe
temperatureinthe bakingroomreachestheset
value,aphaseforheatpreservationwhichlasts
normallyfor30-45 minutesisnecessary.
Notice:Whenthebakingtimeisup,keep
running themainblowerfor15 minutes before
turningofftheswitchwithlock.Otherwise,the
temperatureintheheatexchangerwillbetoo
high,whichcouldcause damagestothe
facilities.
Makesurethelighting lampisturnedoffduring
baking.
OperationProcedures ofBurners
Aftertheburnerisswitchedonfor15-20minutes,
the burnerduringthisperiod oftimeisactivatedand
thendrivesthe impellersofairblowersandoil
pumps.The impellersblowfreshairinto
combustionchambers,and the gasoline isdrawn
inwardthrough oil-inpipe intooil pumpswherethe
airandsuperfluousoilflowback tothe oiltank
through fuelreturnpipes.
After15-20 seconds,the electrodesofburners
begintoignite;solenoidvalvesopen theoilnozzles,
whichignitestheatomizedoil. After10 seconds,the
flamereachesthemaximumand remainsstable.
When the oilejectedfromoil nozzlecouldnotstill
be ignitedafter5seconds,andwhen receivingno
opticalsignals,the photoelectricitysensorsinthe
burnerwillautomaticallyturnoff theburnerand at
thesametime,the malfunction indication lamp
illuminates.Torestartthe burner,onlypress down
thered resetswitchinburners30 secondslater.
Notice:Duringthenormaloperationofburners,
do notadd gasolineintotheoil tank,because
addinggasolinewillproduce largenumbersof
bubbleswhichcoulddeactivatetheburnerby
breakingdownthegasolinesupplyafterbeing
drawninwardintotheoil pumps.Therefore,add
gasolinewhentheburnerisnotactive.
Cautionsonusing PaintBooth
lKeep cleanthefloorofthebaking room.Before
sprayingpainteverytime,cleanthefloorofthe
bakingroomwithwater.
lBeforesprayingpaint, automobilesshouldbe
cleaned out.Andremovethe dangerousgoods,

gasoline inthegasolinetank)fromthe
automobiles.
lDuringspraying,pass inandoutofthebaking
