Use unleaded petrol intended for motor vehicle use with an octane rating of 87
[(R + M) / 2] or higher. This product is powered by a 2-cycle engine and requires
pre-mixing petrol and 2-cycle lubricant.

■Do not expose the machine to rain.
■
Clear the area of children, bystanders, and pets. At a minimum,
keep all children, bystanders, and pets outside a 15 m radius;
outside the 15 m zone, there is still a risk of injury from
thrown objects. Bystanders should be encouraged to wear
eye protection. If you are approached, stop the engine.
Preparation
■
This product can cause serious injuries. Read the instructions
carefully for the correct handling, preparation, maintenance,
starting and stopping of the product. Become familiar with
all controls and the proper use of the product.
■To reduce the risk of injury associated with thrown objects,
always wear eye protection. Eye protection should comply
with EN 166 in EU countries.
■Always wear ear protection while operating. Prolonged
exposure to noisy environments can cause hearing loss.
■Dress properly! Always wear substantial footwear, long
trousers, gloves, and a long-sleeved shirt. To reduce the
risk of injury associated with objects being drawn into
rotating parts, do not wear loose clothing, scarves, jewelry,
etc. Secure hair so it is above shoulder level.
■To prevent dust irritation, the wearing of a face mask is
recommended.
■Operate the machine only on a rm, level surface, not on
a paved or gravel surface where ejected material could
cause injury.
■Inspect the blower before each use. Replace damaged
parts. Check for fuel leaks. Make sure all visible fasteners
are in place and secure. Make sure attachments are

properly installed and securely fastened. Be sure
accessories are properly attached and in the position
recommended by the manufacturer.
■
Make sure that the blower is in good condition before
operation; check the mufer, air intake and air lter before use.
■Do not place any objects inside the blower tubes. Make
sure the tubes are clear before using.
■Do not smoke when operating, fueling, or starting this
machine.
Operation
■This product should not be used for any other purpose than
described. Note that regional regulations can restrict the
use of this product.
■This product is not intended for extended use. Extended
periods of operation can cause circulatory problems in the
user’s hands due to the vibration caused by the tool. Take
regular breaks from operating the tool.
■Never leave the blower working unattended or place it on
any surface, except a hard, clean surface when the engine
is running. Gravel, sand, and other debris can be picked up
by the air inlet and thrown at the operator or bystanders,
causing possible serious injuries.
■Working with this product is demanding; therefore, ensure
you are physically and mentally t to complete the job
safely. Do not use the product when you are tired, ill or
under the inuence of alcohol or other drugs.
■Maintain a rm grip while using this blower. Hold the handle
in one hand with thumb and ngers encircling the handle to
reduce risk of dropping.
■Maintain stable footing and balance on a solid surface at all

times when using the blower. Do not use the blower whilst
on a ladder, roof, tree or other unstable support. Working
from ladders or high places could result in severe injury. Do
not overreach.
■Keep the engine and mufer free of debris, leaves and
excessive lubricant to reduce re hazards. Always ensure
that ventilation openings are kept clear of debris.
■Do not touch the engine or the mufer when the engine
is on and avoid contact after it has been used; wait until
the surfaces cool down. Keep all parts of your body away
from hot surfaces. Contact with hot surfaces could result in
serious burns.
■Do not allow hands or any other part of the body or clothing
near any moving part or air intake opening.
■To reduce the risk of injury associated with contacting
rotating parts, stop the engine remove the battery pack
from the blower and make sure that all moving parts have
come to a complete stop before installing or removing
attachments. Do not operate without tubes in place. Always
disconnect the spark plug before performing maintenance
or accessing movable parts.
■Operate the blower only at reasonable hours, not early
in the morning or late at night when people might be
disturbed. Comply with times listed in local regulations.
■To reduce sound levels, operate blowers at the lowest
possible engine speed and limit the number of pieces of
equipment used at any one time.
■Always be aware of your surroundings and stay alert for
possible hazards of which you may not be aware due to the
noise of the product.

■Before blowing, use rakes and brooms to loosen debris
that may be packed down.
■In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces if possible.
■Conserve water by using blowers instead of hoses for
many lawn and garden applications, including clearing
areas such as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches, and
gardens.
■Avoid blowing debris or pointing the blower tube towards
people, pets, open windows, or cars.
■Use the full blower nozzle extension when blowing.
■Never start or run the blower near ammable material or
inside a closed room or building. The exhaust fumes are
hot and may start a re. Breathing exhaust fumes can
cause serious personal injury or death.
■If the machine should start making any unusual noise or
vibration, immediately stop the engine. Remove the battery
pack and take the following steps before restarting and
operating the machine:
- Inspect for damage;
- Replace or repair any damaged parts;
- Check for and tighten any loose parts.
■Clear the work area for large and dangerous objects before
each use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass,
nails, wire, or string, which can be thrown or become
entangled in the blower.
■Never use the blower near res, replaces, re pits, hot
ashes, outdoor cooking grills, etc., which may cause re to
spread.
■Do not work against the wind, pay close attention to wind
direction.

■Never operate the product with damaged guards or without
the guards in place.
■Be careful of the direction of blowing debris when work
near walls, large rocks, vehicles and fences. Blow from the
corner into the center of the work area. If not, debris may
cause injury.
■
Clear and dispose of debris in bins or bags after using
blowers and other equipment. Do not allow debris to settle in
places where it can wash down drains and cause blockages.
Maintenance and Storage
■Improper maintenance and removal of safety devices leads
to hazards causing injuries and damage to property.
■When the machine is stopped for servicing, inspection, or
storage, or to change an accessory, remove the battery
pack from the blower and make sure that all moving parts
have come to a complete stop and allow the machine to
cool down.
■Store the blower in an area that children and unapproved
persons cannot access.
■For repairs, use only spare parts authorized by CLEVA
for this device or similar pieces matching the technical
specication. Use only high quality spare parts. Failure to
follow this advice may result in personal injury or damage
to the tool. CLEVA recommends using CLEVA original
parts for replacement. CLEVA original spare parts are
recognizable by their reference and identication symbol.
■Before transporting the blower in a vehicle, allow the engine
to cool completely and empty the fuel tank. Always secure
the blower to avoid movement during transportation to
prevent turnover, fuel spillage and damage to the product.

■Do not apply strong forces to the machine, such as
throwing or dropping it, which will invalidate the warranty.
■Always take your blower to a qualied service center for
repair. Service performed by inexperienced or unqualied
persons may damage the blower, create unsafe conditions,
increase the risk of personal injury, and/or void your warranty.
■Always store the product and fuel so that there is no risk
of leakages or fumes coming into contact with sparks or
naked ames from electrical equipment, electric motors,
relays/switches, boilers etc.
Fuel Handling
■Always remove the battery pack and let the product cool
down before refueling it. Petrol is easily ammable and
the vapours are explosive. Never smoke when you are
refueling the product. Do not refuel the product if there is
an open re in the vicinity!
■Always use suitable aids such as funnels and ller necks.
Do not spill any fuel on the product or its exhaust system.
There is a risk of ignition. Remove spilled fuel carefully from
all parts of the product. Any residue which may be present
must have completely vapourised before the product is put
into operation!
■Never use the product in environments where there is a risk
of explosion. Exhaust gases and fuel fumes are noxious.
Fuel fumes can ignite.
■Never breathe in any fuel fumes, when you are refueling
the product. Never ll the tank in enclosed spaces, such
as basements or sheds. There is a risk of poisoning and
explosion!

■Avoid skin contact with petrol.
■Do not eat or drink while you are refueling the product.
If you have swallowed petrol or oil, or if petrol or oil has
got into your eyes, then seek the advice of a doctor
immediately.
■Close the tank lid immediately after lling the tank. Make
sure that it is properly closed.
■Never use the product without an air lter.
■Only use approved containers to store fuel.
■If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start the product. Move it
away from the area of spillage before starting.
■Always replace and securely tighten the fuel tank cap after
refueling.
■Drain fuel outdoors only.
■Never refuel indoors or in conned spaces.
■Never remove the fuel tank cap or add fuel with the power
source running. Allow engine and exhaust components to
cool down before refueling.
■Mix and pour fuel outdoors where there are no sparks or
ames. Slowly remove the fuel cap only after stopping
the engine and letting it cool completely. Do not smoke
while fueling or mixing fuel. Wipe spilled fuel from the
blower. Move at least 3 m away from the fueling source
and site before starting the engine. Always store petrol in a
container approved for ammable liquids.
■Empty the fuel tank and clean the blower before long-term
storage. Empty the fuel tank following local regulations on
disposal of fuel. Dispose of waste fuel and oil at a local
petrol station, local authority centre or where facilities exist.

Battery Safety Information
■
Recharge only with the charger specied by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of re when used with another
battery pack. Incorrect use may result in electric shock,
overheating or leakage of corrosive liquid from the battery.
■Do not place appliances or their batteries near re or heat
sources. Continuous intense sunlight, re or other heat
sources may cause an increased danger of explosion.
■Do not crush, drop or damage the battery pack. Do not
use a battery pack or charger that has been dropped or
received a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject to
explosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged
battery immediately.
■Batteries can explode in the presence of a source of
ignition, such as a pilot light.
■To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never use
any cordless product in the presence of an open ame.
An exploded battery can propel debris and chemicals. If
exposed, ush with water immediately.
■Do not charge battery in a damp or wet location. Following
this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock.
■For best results, your battery tool should be charged in a
location where the temperature is more than 4°C but less
than 40°C.
■Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery
leakage may occur. If liquid comes into contact with skin,
wash immediately with soap and water. If liquid gets into
eyes, ush them with clean water for at least 10 minutes,
then seek immediate medical attention.

■ When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects such as: paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery
terminals together may cause sparks, burns, or a re.
■Do not open up the battery. Avoid mechanical damage to
the battery. Risk of short circuit and fumes may be emitted.
Ensure fresh air and seek medical assistance in the event
of discomfort.
■Always remove battery pack before storing the device.
When battery becomes fully charged, unplug the charger
from the power supply and remove the battery pack from
the charger.
■Keep battery pack dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.
Always use a dry cloth when cleaning. Never use brake
uids, petrol, petroleum-based products, or any solvents to
clean battery pack.
Charger Safety Information
■Ensure the battery pack is charged indoors only, in a dry,
cool and well-ventilated environment.
■Do not use non-rechargeable batteries!
■Do not operate the charger with a damaged cord or plug,
which could cause shorting and electric shock. If damaged,
immediately discontinue use. Replace the charger with the
original unit as listed in the Technical Data in this manual.
If the power cord for this equipment is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, a customer service agent of the
same or a fully qualied person in order to prevent hazards.

■The plug of the charger must match the outlet. Never
modify the plug in any way. Unmodied plugs and matching
outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
■Allow a hot battery to cool before charging.
■Before each use, check the charger, cable and plug. Do
not use a defective charger and do not disassemble the
charger. Incorrect reassembly may result in the risk of re,
electric shock or electrocution.
■Protect the charger against moisture and wet conditions.
There is a danger of electric shock.
■Operate the charger only with the appropriate original
batteries. Charging other batteries may result in injuries
and risk of re.
■Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving
parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
■Do not use a charger that has been dropped or received a
sharp blow.
■The voltage indicated on the charger rating plate must
correspond to the voltage of the power source.
■Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
Intended Use
■
The blower is only used for clearing or removing leaves, grass,
lawn clippings, paper, dust, and other debris off the ground.
■Do not sweep harmful material.
■Any other use which is not expressly permitted in this
manual may lead to damaging the device, can represent a
serious danger for the user and is not authorized.

ASSEMBLY
Assembly Preparation
■Carefully remove all contents from the product packaging.
■Ensure you have all the accessories and tool(s) needed for assembly and operation. This also
includes suitable personal protective equipment.
■Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily
operated the product.
Assembling the Blower Tubes
■The nut (j) on the screw securing the front opening on the blower is pre-installed. Turn the nut
counter-clockwise using the spanner provided to sufciently loosen it (Fig. 1).
■Insert the upper blower tube into the front opening on the blower. Pay attention that the notch (k)
on the blower tube aligns with the middle of the upper part of the front opening. Make sure the
raised tab (l) on lower part of the blower tube aligns with the slot on the lower part of the front
opening. Insert the upper blower tube into place and secure the nut tight using the spanner
(Fig. 2 & 3).
■Install the widest end of the lower blower tube onto the upper blower tube. Align the indexing tab
(m)
with correct sized index channel (
n
); once achieved, turn clockwise to lock into place (Fig. 4).
■ Install the concentrator nozzle onto the lower blower tube. Align the indexing tab (
o
) with correct
sized index channel (
p
); once achieved, turn clockwise to lock into place. Make sure the blower
tubes and the concentrator nozzle are assembled securely into place. (Fig. 5 & 6).
NOTE: The concentrator nozzle is optional. Assemble it when high air speed is required.
■To remove the concentrator nozzle and lower blower tube, rotate the concentrator nozzle and
lower blower tube counter-clockwise to unlock them and remove.
■To remove the upper blower tube, loosen the nut and remove the upper blower tube from the
front opening on the blower.
If any parts are damaged or missing do not operate this product until the parts are replaced. Use
of this product with damaged or missing parts could result in serious personal injury.
Do not attempt to modify this product or create accessories not recommended for use with this
product. Any such alteration or modication is misuse and could result in a hazardous condition
leading to possible serious personal injury. Only operate the blower fully assembled.
To prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury, always remove the battery
pack from the product when assembling parts.
