Connections
Addressing with BCD Switch
The DMX address is set using three BCD switches. Select the desired address using the BCD switches. If an invalid
address is set, the internally stored address is used (programmable via remote).
Addressrange: 1 –512
Example: DMX Channel 125
X100 = 1
X10 = 2

Addressing via Remote (Option)
The device is set to start address 1 at the factory. A subsequent change can be made with the RemoteControl.
1. Connect the remote control to the dimmer.
2. Select the desired channel on the remote control with the arrow buttons and then press "send" twice.
3. If the addressing was successful, the status LED briefly flashes green.
Status LED
When the dimmer starts operation the status LED flashes according to the channel mode
Status Led at start of operation:
1x Green flash = 1 Channel Mode
2x Green flash =2 Channel Mode
3x Green flash = 1 Channel Mode 16 Bit
4x Green flash = 2 Channel Mode 16Bit
Status Led in Operation:
Green = DMX OK
Red = Kein DMX
Modes
The dimmer has a 1.2 channel mode with 8 bits and a 1.2 channel mode with 16 bits
DMX Hold Funktion
ON after 5 sec without DMX the outputs will be set to 0
OFF > the latest DMX Values will be hold till powerdown

Safty Instructions
•The device is not suitable for outdoor use (IP10) and should therefore be protected from moisture and dirt.
•Never try to repair or dismantle the dimmer yourself. Opening or removing the inner covers could result in
electric shock or other injury.
•If you have any problems, always contact an authorized LDDE sales partner or LDDE directly.
•Never reach into the device when it is in operation.
•Always unplug the dimmer from the mains before moving or cleaning it.
•Do not expose the dimmer to strong vibrations or impacts.
•Make sure that the dimmer is not covered to ensure adequate ventilation.
•Never insert objects into openings in the housing, as they can come into contact with live parts and cause
short circuits. There is a risk of electric shock or fire.
•If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be put out of operation. This is
true if:
▪The Splitter is visibly damaged.
▪Parts of the device are loose or loose.
▪connecting lines show visible damage.

Warranty and Liability
The warranty for the device is 24 months. The guarantee includes the free correction of defects that can be traced back to
manufacturing defects. Such defects are remedied exclusively by the manufacturer.
The warranty expires:
•Changes and attempts to repair the device by unauthorized persons.
•Damage caused by interference by third parties.
•Damage caused by failure to observe the operating instructions.
•Connection to wrong voltage.
•Incorrect operation or damage due to negligent or improper handling.
In particular, LDDE excludes any liability for damage to the device as well as consequential damage caused by unsuitability, improper
construction, incorrect commissioning and use, as well as non-compliance with applicable safety regulations.
