1. La protezione e la manutenzione.
Evitate di collocare i diffusori in vicinanza di forti fonti
di calore e di esporli direttamente alla luce solare,
alla pioggia, all’umidità, alla polvere o ad intense
vibrazioni. Lasciate l’apposita griglia di protezione
sempre applicata ai diffusori. In caso di avaria non
aprite il diffusore, ma rivolgetevi al più vicino Centro di
Assistenza GENERALMUSIC.
2. Collegamenti
Per evitare pericolosi picchi di segnale effettuate i
collegamenti dei diffusori con amplificatori di potenza o
mixer amplificati sempre ad apparato spento.
3. I cavi di collegamento
Per il collegamento dei diffusori all’amplificatore di
potenza o al mixer amplificato accertatevi di utilizzare
sempre e solo cavi di potenza costituiti solo da due fili
di uguale sezione. L’utilizzo di cavi di segnale potrebbe
determinare un’eccessiva dispersione di potenza.
Verificate periodicamente che i cavi impiegati siano
in buono stato, con le connessioni realizzate nel modo
corretto e con tutti i contatti in perfetta efficienza, in
modo da evitare inconvenienti come falsi contatti,
rumori di massa, scariche, ecc.
4. La serie TITANIUM (fig. 1)
La serie TITANIUM è una linea di diffusori passivi con
cabinet in legno multi-strato. La serie si compone di 4
modelli.
- T200: utilizza un driver a compressione da 1” caricato
a tromba ed un woofer da 10”. La potenza applicabile
è di 200W EIA.
- T300: utilizza un driver a compressione da 1” caricato
a tromba ed un woofer da 12” con magnete in neodimio.
La potenza applicabile è di 300W EIA.
- T400: utilizza un driver a compressione da 1” caricato
a tromba ed un woofer da 15” con magnete in neodimio.
La potenza applicabile è di 400W EIA.
- T500: utilizza un driver a compressione da 1” caricato
a tromba, un altoparlante midrange da 8" ed un woofer
da 15” con magnete in neodimio. La potenza applicabile
è di 500W EIA.
Tutti modelli sono dotati di crossover passivo realizzato
con componenti selezionati e di un sofisticato circuito
elettronico per la protezione del driver contro i
sovraccarichi di potenza.
5. Installazione e collegamenti
1. Installazione (fig.2)
Tutti i modelli della serie TITANIUM sono dotati di un
adattatore per l’installazione su supporto standard per
diffusori. I modelli T200 e T300, inoltre, possiedono 4
inserti filettati a passo 8, 2 sul pannello superiore e
2 su quello inferiore, tramite i quali possono essere
installati a soffitto o a parete utilizzando semplici anelli
filettati o accessori dedicati.
IMPORTANTE!!!
T200 e T300 sono predisposti solo per la
sospensione di unità singole, pertanto SI
SCONSIGLIA DI SOSPENDERE PIU’ UNITA’ UNA
APPESA ALL’ALTRA. Nel caso ciò sia necessario,
non superare il numero massimo di 2 unità appese
insieme.
2. Collegamenti
I diffusori della serie TITANIUM sono provvisti di
connettori SPEAKON per il collegamento agli amplificatori
di potenza o mixer amplificati (vedi fig. 3).
I modelli T300, T400 e T500 nella versione a 4ohm sono
dotati di un singolo connettore SPEAKON di ingresso.
Il modello T200 (disponibile solo con impedenza a
8ohm) ed i modelli T300, T400 e T500 nella versione
a 8ohm sono dotati di connettori doppi per consentire il
rilancio verso un secondo diffusore collegato allo stesso
canale dell'amplificatore.
6. Pannello connessioni (fig. 4)
1. Connettore SPEAKON per il collegamento alle
uscite dell'amplificatore di potenza o del mixer
amplificato (INPUT). Lo schema di cablaggio del
connettore SPEAKON è riportato sul pannello
connessioni del diffusore.
2. Connettore SPEAKON per il rilancio verso un
secondo diffusore collegato allo stesso canale
dell'amplificatore o mixer amplificato (LINK).

1. Protection and maintenance.
To avoid jeopardizing correct operation, it is best not
to position the enclosures for long periods in exposed
places (damp, high temperature, etc.), in dusty
environments or those subject to strong vibrations. On
this subject, it’s advisable to always leave the protective
grille mounted on the enclosures. In the event of
breakdown, do not open the enclosure, but contact the
nearest GENERALMUSIC Service Centre.
2. Connections.
Always connect or disconnect the enclosures with the
power amplifier off: in this manner, annoying and often
dangerous peaks are avoided.
3. Connector cables.
When connecting the enclosures to the power amplifier,
make certain to always use only power cables made
up of just two wires with the same cross-section: the
use of signal cables could cause an excessive loss of
power. Check periodically that your cables are in good
condition, correctly wired and with perfectly efficient
contacts: in fact many problems and drawbacks (false
contacts, ground hum, crackles, etc.) are caused by the
use of unsuitable or damaged cables.
4. The titanium series (fig. 1)
The TITANIUM series is range of passive loudspeaker
systems hosted in plywood cabinets. The series
includes 4 different models.
- T200: it is fitted with a 1” horn-loaded compression
driver and with a 10” woofer, with a power handling of
200W EIA.
- T300: it is fitted with a 1” horn-loaded compression
driver and with a neodymium magnet 12” woofer, with a
power handling of 300W EIA.
- T400: it is fitted with a 1” horn-loaded compression
driver and with a neodymium magnet 15” woofer, with a
power handling of 400W EIA.
- T500: it is fitted with a 1” horn-loaded compression
driver, a 8" midrange and a neodymium magnet 15”
woofer, with a power handling of 500W EIA.
All the models are equipped with carefully engineered
passive crossovers and with a sophisticated active
circuit for the protection of the drivers against power
overloading.
5. Installation and connections
1. Installation (fig. 3)
All the TITANIUM series models are fitted with an
adapter for the installation on a standard loudspeaker
stand. In addition, in the models T200 and T300 four
flying points are provided, 2 on the top panel and 2 on
the bottom panel, for the installation of the unit using M8
threaded hardware or dedicated accessories.
IMPORTANT!!!
The threaded inserts allow only one T200 or T300 to
be suspended at a time, therefore THE SUSPENSION
OF MORE UNITS IN A SINGLE VERTICAL CLUSTER
IS NOT RECOMMENDED. In case this is needed,
don’t hang more than 2 units.
2. Connections
The TITANIUM loudspeaker systems are provided with
SPEAKON connectors for the connection to power
amplifiers or powered mixers (see fig.3).
The models T300, T400 e T500 in the 4ohm version are
fitted with a single SPEAKON connector (INPUT).
The model T200 (available only with 8ohm impedance)
and the models T300, T400 e T500 in the 8ohm version
are fitted with an additional SPEAKON connector
(LINK) to be used to send the power to a second unit
connected to the same amplifier's channel.
6. Connection panel (fig. 4)
1. SPEAKON power input for the connection to the
power outputs of the amplifier or the powered
mixer (INPUT). The SPEAKON connector wiring
diagram is printed on the enclosure connection
panel.
2. SPEAKON power output for the linking of two
loudspeaker systems to the same amplifier or
powered mixer (LINK).
