Work with Windows
The following table contains Windows frequentl used settings. You can learn the basics and start working
with Windows right awa .
To configure settings, t pe the corresponding ke words in the Windows search box and select the best
match. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize settings.

Connect to Wi-Fi
networks
For models with a wireless LAN module, ou can connect our computer to
a Wi-Fi® network. Click the network icon in the Windows notification area,
and then select a network for connection.
Note: The wireless LAN module on our computer ma support different
standards. For some countries or regions, use of 802.11ax ma be disabled
according to local regulations.
Wi-Fi
Airplane mode Airplane mode is a convenient setting to turn all wireless communications of
our computer on and off. You ma need to turn it on when boarding an
airplane.

Night light mode Night light is a switch in Windows that ou can turn on and off. When it is
turned on, our screen shows warmer colors and the amount of emitted
blue light is reduced. Enabling night light reduces the chances of developing
e e fatigue or e e strain.

If night light mode is turned on, ou can adjust the color temperature of the
screen.
Note: Selected Lenovo computers are low blue light certified using night
light mode and color temperature settings available in the pre-installed
operating s stem. These computers are tested with night light turned on
and color temperature set to 48 or greater.

Updates
Microsoft periodicall releases feature and securit updates to the Windows
operating s stem. Updates that are applicable to our Windows version are
downloaded automaticall when our computer is connected to the
Internet. When updates are downloaded, ou are prompted to restart the
computer to install these updates. You can also manuall check if there are
available updates for the installed version of Windows.
Attention: Onl use Windows Update to download and install updates.
Updates downloaded from other sources ma include securit risks.

• T pe Get Help or Tips in the Windows search box and then press Enter. When the app opens, t pe the
problem description and select the matched result.
• Visit Microsoft support Web site: https://support.microsoft.com. Enter what ou are looking for in the
search box and get search results.
Connect an external display
Connect a projector or a monitor to our computer to give presentations or expand our workspace.
Connect a wireless display
Ensure that both our computer and the wireless displa support Miracast®.
Press the Windows and K Ke s, and then select a wireless displa to connect.
Change display settings
To change displa settings, t pe displa settings in the Windows search box and then press Enter.

Link mode with USB-C
Projecting the laptop screen
Work as an external monitor to allow the laptop to project its screen.
1. Connect the laptop to our Yoga AIO 9 with the included USB-C cable that supports the audio and data
transfer, Displa Port-in, and power charging.
2. Then our laptop's screen will be projected onto the AIO computer.

Sharing the camera
Yoga AIO 9 offers a 5M infrared (IR) camera, which allows ou to show ever thing clearl . You can use the
camera of our Yoga AIO 9 when connecting the laptop to the AIO computer.
Sharing the speaker
When connecting the laptop to the AIO computer, ou can choose the speaker of our Yoga AIO 9 in the
laptop. Then, ou can adjust the volume of the computer via both the laptop and the AIO computer.
Charging yo r laptop
Charge the laptop that supports USB-C charging with proper power input, whether our Yoga AIO 9 is
powered on or off when it is connected to the power.

Sharing the keyboard and mo se
Use the ke board and mouse of our Yoga AIO 9 (with the USB receiver connected) to control both the
laptop and our Yoga AIO 9.
Wireless charging
You can use the wireless charging pad to charge phones that support wireless charging. Place our phone at
the center of the pad. If the indicator blinks amber, adjust the phone’s position and remove an metal object
on or near the pad.

The preinstalled Lenovo Vantage is a customized one-stop solution to help ou maintain our computer with
automated updates and fixes, configure hardware settings, and get personalized support.
Access Lenovo Vantage
T pe Lenovo Vantage in the search box and then press Enter.
To download the latest version of Lenovo Vantage, go to Microsoft Store and search b the app name.
Key feat res
Lenovo Vantage enables ou to:
• Know the device status easil and customize device settings.
• Download and install UEFI BIOS, firmware and driver updates to keep our computer up-to-date.
• Monitor our computer health, and secure our computer against outside threats.
• Scan our computer hardware and diagnose hardware problems.
• Look up warrant status (online).
• Access User Guide and helpful articles.
Notes:
• The available features var depending on the computer model.
• Lenovo Vantage makes periodic updates of the features to keep improving our experience with our
computer. The description of features might be different from that on our actual user interface.
Set the power plan
For ENERGY STAR® compliant computers, the following power plan takes effect when our computers have
been idle for a specified duration:
• turn off the displa : After 10 minutes
• put the computer to sleep: After 10 minutes
To awaken the computer from Sleep mode, press an ke on our ke board.
To change or customize a power plan:
1. T pe power plan in the Windows search box and then press Enter.
2. Customize a power plan of our preference.
Off mode
To meet the off mode requirement of ErP/KES compliance, ou need to disable the Fast Startup function.

1. Go to Control Panel and view b Large or Small icons.
2. Click Power Options ➙ Choose what the power b ttons do ➙ Change settings that are c rrently
navailable.
3. Clear the T rn on fast start p (recommended) option from the Sh tdown settings ➙ Save changes.
Transfer data
Quickl share our files using the built-in Bluetooth technolog among devices with the same features. You
also can install a disc or media card to transfer data.

Connect to a Bl etooth-enabled device (for selected models)
You can connect all t pes of Bluetooth-enabled devices to our computer, such as a ke board, a mouse, a
smartphone, or speakers. To ensure that the connection is successful, place the devices 10 meters (33 feet),
at most, from the computer.
1. Click the action center icon in the Windows notification area. Enable the Bluetooth feature.
2. Click the bluetooth options to add a bluetooth device, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Lenovo has a number of hardware accessories and upgrades to help expand the capabilities of our
computer. Options include memor modules, storage devices, network cards, power adapters, ke boards,
mice, and more.
