IfyouexperienethefollowingproblemwiththewirelessWANadapter,trythesolutionprovidedtosolve
theproblem.
Problem:IhaveorretlyinstalledthewirelessWANadapteronmyomputer,buttheomputerfailsto
reognizethewirelessWANadapter.
Soltion:ResettheUnifiedExtensibleFirmwareInterfae(UEFI)basiinput/outputsystem(BIOS)
onfigurationofyouromputertothedefaultsettingsbydoingthefollowing:
1.Turnontheomputer.
2.WhentheThinkPadlogoisdisplayed,pressF1toentertheBIOS.
3.PressF9,andthenseletYestoloadthedefaultonfiguration.
4.PressF10tosavetheonfigurationhangesandexit.TheSetupConfirmationwindowopens.
5.SeletYesintheSetupConfirmationwindow.Theomputerrestarts.
Note:Aftertheomputerrestarts,theBIOShangesareautomatiallysaved.Thereisnoneedtoreset

produtsandpartsareeligibleforreplaement.ThereplaementprodutorpartprovidedbyLenovomay
notbenew,butitwillbeingoodworkingorderandatleastfuntionallyequivalenttotheoriginalprodutor
part.Thereplaementprodutorpartshallbewarrantedforthebalaneoftheperiodremainingonthe
originalprodut.

UnderMail-InServie,yourprodutwillberepairedorexhangedatadesignatedservieenterafteryou
deliveritatyourriskandexpense.Aftertheproduthasbeenrepairedorexhanged,itwillbereturnedto
youatLenovo’sriskandexpense,unlesstheServieProviderspeifiesotherwise.
6.CstomerTwo-WayMail-InService
UnderCustomerTwo-WayMail-InServie,yourprodutwillberepairedorexhangedafteryoudeliveritto
adesignatedservieenteratyourriskandexpense.Aftertheproduthasbeenrepairedorexhanged,
itwillbemadeavailabletoyouforreturnshippingatyourriskandexpense.Ifyoufailtoarrangereturn
shipment,theServieProvidermaydisposeoftheprodutasitseesfit,withnoliabilitytoyou.
7.ProdctExchangeService
UnderProdutExhangeServie,Lenovowillshipareplaementproduttoyourloation.Youare
responsibleforitsinstallationandverifiationofitsoperation.Thereplaementprodutbeomesyour
propertyinexhangeforthefailedprodut,whihbeomesthepropertyofLenovo.Youmustpakthe
failedprodutintheshippingartoninwhihyoureeivedthereplaementprodutandreturnittoLenovo.
Transportationharges,bothways,shallbeatLenovo’sexpense.Ifyoufailtousetheartoninwhihthe
