1.Slidethe OPENbuttonto open the CDDOOR,then
opentheBATTERYDOOR.
2.Insert2size AA”fresh alkaline batteriesas shown.
NOTE:Player will notwork, andbatterieswillbe
drained, if not inserted as showninsidethe
Battery Compartment.
3.Closethe BATTERYDOOR.

Slidethe BASSBOOSTswitch (on the left sideof the set) to ON to
give you morelowfrequency tones.
VOLUMECONTROL
Adjustthe VOLUMEcontrolto your preference.
Power thisplayer inserting 2size AA”freshalkaline batteries.
AC ADAPTOR (optional)
You canalsopower thisplayer byconnecting an optionalAC adaptor. Before you buy anAC

QUICKINSTRUCTIONS
PAUSE
Pressing PLAY/PAUSE button while adisc isplaying will pauseplay.(The elapsed playing timewill
flash during pause.) Press PLAY/PAUSE again to continue play.
STOP(orPOWEROFF)
Pressthe STOPbutton once to stop playand press it twice to shut offpower.
REPEAT
During CD play,pressthe REPEATbutton onceto repeat one song overand over, REPT1 ”willshow
in thedisplay.That song willplay and repeatagain and againtill youpress STOP.
Torepeat allsongs,just press the REPEATbutton twice, thedisplaywill show REPTALL ”.
SKIP/SEARCH ( or )
Duringplay,press andhold theSKIP/SEARCH buttons or whilethe discisplaying to search
backward or forward through aparticular track (or song).
Pressit several times to skip to alaterorearliersong, or to getback tothe beginning of the song.
ESP
The ESPPLUSTM function willturn onautomatically when the PLAY/PAUSE buttonispressed.
PROGRAMMING
Toarrange thesongs to play inaspecial sequence (1, 5, 2, 3,etc.) you can programtheset toyour
taste.
Pressthe PROGRAMbutton in STOPmode, use the SEARCHbuttons( or)toselectthe
trackyouwant,thenpressthePROGRAMbutton again.Repeatpressingthe SEARCHbuttons
(or )and PROGRAMbuttontill youfinishprogramming, thenpress PLAY.

PLAYINGADISC
1.Slidethe OPEN buttonto openthe CD DOOR.
2.Placeadisc(CD or MP3 disc)on thecenterpost with the label
facing up, and then gently push downon thecenterof the disc
untilit clicksin.
3.Closethe CDDOOR,press thePLAYbutton,thediscwill
startto play.
During MP3 play, press the REPEATbutton onceto repeat one song overand over, REPT1 ”will show
in the display.Thatsong will play and repeat againand again tillyou press STOP.Torepeat the songs
on the directory,press the REPEATbutton twice, thedisplaywill show REPTDIR ”.Torepeatall songs,
just press theREPEATbutton 3times, the displaywill show REPTALL ”.
Pressthe STOPbuttonto quitrepeat play.
DISC ROTATION
During MP3 play, it is normalfor thedisc tooccasionally stop turning, thisis normal, and saves battery
power.
