Basic Introduction to MP3
ToplayMP3 or WMAfileson this player,
you will need to make (record) adisc
with your MP3 or WMA files (songs)on
them.
The first thing you will need isan IBM
compatible PCcomputer (atleast
Pentium class)or an apple computer
(atleastG3 class) withlots ofRAM
and aCD-R or CD-RWrecorder.Then
you will need some software. Either it
isin your new computer alreadyor you
may have tobuy this fromMusicMatch
or asimilar company.You maygoto
the Website www.musicmatch.com or
www.nero.com.or www.mp3.com.etc.
NOTE: Most audio CD playerscan’tplay
MP3 orWMA files, theCD-2087
canplayMP3,WMA andnormal
musicfilesbutnot if they are mixed
ononeCD.
Todownload an MP3 file (song) from a
website (like www.mp3.com), goto http:
//www.mp3.com and you canfinda
searchlink at the top of the homepage
that allowsyou to searchfor MP3 files.
Input akeyword and click on that link
and you will find many songsbymany
new artists. Todownload an MP3 file,
click on software, then get MP3 linkor
newer software, register andclick on
download. We recommend youmake
anew folder for your MP3 files.
If you want to record MP3 or WMA files
from musicCD’s,first rip”(copy)the
music onto the harddisc. Rippingis
much faster than recording.
Torecord adisc in MP3 or WMA, select
asettingin your computer or download
an MP3/WMA creation plug in program
toenablerecording discsin MP3 or WMA
format.
Titles and song namescan be viewed
bythetext displayof yourCD-2087.But
in most casesabove, you will need to
enter the namesof the songs. Also, if
you put all songsin one album, it may
be difficult for you to locate aparticular
